Defense! Defense! Yes, this is probably the spot in your lineup that is your favorite to worry about. LOL. I highly doubt that it is, but hey, maybe you’re a defense junkie. This spot in your lineup may not seem all that important, but a good defensive outing can give you around 15 points, which is 90 yards and a touchdown from a receiver. That’s pretty damn good. Don’t overlook the position and if any of these five defenses are available in your league for some reason, go add them immediately.

Here are the top 5 defenses for Week 11 of the NFL season.

Patriots DST @ SF

The 49ers have allowed opposing fantasy defensive units to score the fourth-most fantasy points per game, mainly due to the fact that this offense can be borderline anemic at times. The Patriots will neutralize San Fran’s best offensive talent and force Colin Kaepernick to beat them through the air. HAHA! Good luck with that, Colin.

Seahawks DST vs. PHI

Carson Wentz boasts the third worst QBR in the league and Seattle has one of the best defenses in the league. If Philly can’t establish the run, which they likely won, relying on Wentz bodes well for the Seattle defense. They are a top five unit this week with ease.

Cardinals DST @ MIN

This Arizona defense has scored the seventh-most fantasy points on the year and the Minnesota Vikings have looked terrible lately. The offense is having a hard time sustaining any sort of momentum, unless Sam Bradford is throwing it to Stefon Diggs. Star corner Patrick Peterson is going to shadow Diggs, forcing Bradford to look elsewhere. He’ll complete a couple passes to Arizona defenders on Sunday.

Chiefs DST vs. TB

The Chiefs just played a solid game against Cam Newton and the Panthers, so in theory, they should be able to carry some that momentum over into this game with Tampa Bay. The Chiefs have recorded at least two sacks in every game but two this season, but they’ve struggled to create turnovers. Jameis Winston isn’t turnover-prone, but the real key for the Chiefs is to contain Mike Evans outside. Kansas City should be a top 5 defensive unit in Week 11.

Rams DST vs. MIA

Miami wants to run the football and stuff it down your throat. Well, the Rams are allowing just 78 rushing yards per game over their last three contests. Ryan Tannehill cannot beat a team through the air, and if the Rams can slow down Jay Ajayi, their fantasy output should be pretty darn good in Week 11.
