Happy Sunday y’all! This fine Sunday treats us to a fine 11-game main slate starting shortly after lunch time! There’s a good amount of value to be had, and if you’re a BvP junkie like me, you’ll find yourself liking a lot of upper-priced bats on this slate. Also, some guy named Jacob deGrom is pitching today, and people say he’s good at baseball, and he’s heavily priced. However, let’s head into the value vault and find some value bats to round out our lineups!

Both Sites

Kyle Lewis, OF SEA ($2,600 FD/$3,500 DK) - Lewis has double-digit points on both FanDuel and DraftKings in three of his last four outings, and in that four-game span, he’s notched six hits (1 HR), two runs scored and three RBI. Texas’ Dane Dunning has served up a .279 average to righties and has been more vulnerable to them compared to lefties. Seattle boasts a nice one-two value punch today, including behind the dish. Luis Torrens , C SEA ($2,100 FD/$3,300 DK) - Red hot catcher alert! Torrens has hit safely in five straight contests, notching two multi-hit efforts in that span. Furthermore, he’s doubled twice, homered twice, driven in four runs, and scored four times in this five-game stretch. He’s posted a .702 OPS this year against righties, and on DraftKings where you have to play a catcher, he makes a lot of sense. The C/1B position is tough today on FanDuel, so if you don’t pay up, ride the value with Torrens. UPDATE: Torrens isn't starting today for Seattle. On FanDuel, you may want to pay up for 1B today.

DraftKings

Nick Senzel , 2B/OF CIN ($3,100 DK) - Senzel is hitting .375 off southpaws this year and should find himself near the top of the order in this matchup. Hentges can throw hard, but he’s posted a 1.78 WHIP and 5.00 ERA across nine innings this year. On top of that, righties have hit .387 off him, alongside a 1.230 OPS and .424 OBP. Senzel loves lefties, Hentges doesn’t like righties, and I love Senzel in my lineup(s) today! UPDATE: Well, I would have loved Senzel in my lineups today. The Reds game was postponed.

Leury García , 2B/OF ($2,700 DK) - This one scares me, but here goes nothing. Should Garcia find himself in the lineup, he’s in a good spot. He’s 3-for-6 off Mike Minor his career, and he’s hitting .300 against lefties in 2021. Minor has displayed some reverse splits here in 2021, but I’ll double down on the fact that Garcia is a .289 hitter in 488 career at-bats against southpaws.

FanDuel

Nick Solak , 2B ($3,000 FD) - With a southpaw on the mound, it’s time to get Solak in your lineup, especially on FanDuel! He’s underpriced today against Seattle’s Justus Sheffield, a lefty. Solak has posted a .353 average and .419 wOBA against righties this year, as well as a home run every 17 at-bats.

Corey Dickerson , OF MIA ($2,800 FD) - Dickerson only has 17 at-bats against southpaws this year, but he has six hits in those at-bats, along with a ridiculous 1.009 OPS. He’s riding a five-game hit streak and has scored five runs in that span. Milwaukee’s Brett Anderson is boasting some gnarly reverse splits, as he’s allowing a .392 wOBA and .400 average to lefties this year. Also, for what its worth, Dickerson is 4-for-9 off Anderson.

Adam Frazier , 2B PIT ($2,800 FD) - Kyle Hendricks is in a great spot at a reasonable price himself today, but if you want to sneak a Pittsburgh hitter or two in your lineup, it begins with Frazier. He’s hitting a cool .478 (11-for-23) off Hendricks, with two home runs and a whopping .538 wOBA. Hendricks’ struggles this year have come against left-handed hitters, to the tune of a .432 batting average against and an OPS north of 1.300! If Pittsburgh does any damage against Hendricks today, look at Frazier.
