Pitchers | |||||
Pos | Player | Team | Opp. Pitcher | DK Sal. | DK FPPG |
RP | Ki Young Im | KIA | S. Jang (R) | $7,800 | 16.39 |
Looking to wrap a strong June, Im brings a 3-0 record this month with a 2.01 ERA and 20:4 K:BB over 22.1 innings into this start. He gets a struggling Hanwha offense at home and Im's 3.13 FIP does not bode too much regression compared to his 2.91 ERA through 43.1 innings this season. Pretty, pretty good.
SP | Mike Wright | NCD | D. Kim (R) | $9,500 | 15.1 |
A heavy favorite (-275) facing a reliever making his first start for Lotte makes Wright a cash game staple. But, Wright does give up a .274 batting average against to right-handed hitters which litter the Lotte lineup so his strikeout upside could suffer. So far in June, Wright's 3-1 with a 4.09 ERA with 17 strikeouts against 11 walks in 22 innings of work. His price compared to production keeps him second on this list.
SP | Chae Heung Choi | SAM | J. Park (R) | $7,400 | 13.43 |
If looking for a pivot at SP2 on DK, Choi may garner the quality start bonus and possibly the win facing SK at home. Choi owns a 5.91 ERA in June during 10.2 innings which means investing in him proves dicey but his opponent owns a 9.00 ERA in June, so here we are with the LG game at risk of a rainout. Choi fares better against RHH than LHH ones so if he can navigate around Romak and Jeong Choi, he could get a cheap win but key on his 5.38 FIP with a 3.96 ERA so far this year. |
Hitters | |||||
Pos | Player | Team | Opp. Pitcher | DK Sal. | DK FPPG |
C | Eui Ji Yang | NCD | D. Kim (R) | $6,100 | 8.97 |
Paying up at catcher seems apropos on this potential four-game slate due to weather in LG. Yang's heating up with multiple hits in each of his last two contests. He also owns the reverse splits advantage batting .322 versus RHP this year with six home runs facing a Lotte bullpen game.
C | Dong Won Park | KIW | H. Yu (L) | $5,200 | 7.89 |
Yes, Park hits RHP better than southpaws but with Monday off seems primed to help Kiwoom score on Tuesday and he's due for an extra-base hit or two in the heart of the Heroes lineup.
C | Se Hyuk Park | DOO | S. Lee (L) | $3,500 | 5.79 |
If playing for a Doosan overload, Park as a cheap catcher provides a salary relief pivot and hits .409 against LHP with a home run and five RBI in 22 at-bats this year with more walks than strikeouts when facing them.
1B/OF | Jae Hwan Kim | DOO | S. Lee (L) | $5,200 | 9.85 |
Kim's rode his hot streak into a tie for the KBO lead in RBI (45) hitting .389/.542/.694 his last 10 games with nine runs, three home runs, 14 RBI, and two stolen bases. Yes please.
1B/OF | Hyung Woo Choi | LOT | S. Jang (R) | $4,700 | 8.8 |
Disappointed on Sunday but back on the Choi train due to his .343 average and .953 OPS his last 10 games with seven RBI in them. He's hitless his last five but this makes him a nice bounce-back target with low ownership facing a pitcher yielding a .381 average to left-handed hitters like Choi along with issuing 15 walks so far this year.
1B/2B | Joo Hwan Choi | DOO | S. Lee (L) | $3,100 | 8.33 |
Oddly enough, Choi's a boom or bust upside play who bats lefty but hits LHP to the tune of .350 this season with six doubles and two home runs in 41 at-bats walking eight times versus five strikeouts. Cheap upside in a deep lineup with multiple eligibility makes Choi an intriguing target.
Pos | Player | Team | Opp. Pitcher | DK Sal. | DK FPPG |
2B | Min Woo Park | NCD | D. Kim (R) | $5,200 | 8.22 |
Well, NC comes in as a -275 favorite with a game total of 10.5, so odds are the leadoff hitter Park will score a run or two. Plus, he's back on track batting .314/.351/.486 with six runs, six RBI and two stolen bases his last 10 games facing a Lotte pitcher making his first start of the season.
2B/SS | Hye Sung Kim | KIW | H. Yu (L) | $2,700 | 7.52 |
With his teammate Ha Seong Kim on the injured list, Hye Sung moved into the second slot in the lineup adding to his allure. Kim's hitting over .300 against LHP and boasts a .308/.372/.436 slash his last 10 games with six runs, one home run, four RBI, and four stolen bases.
2B/SS | Jin Hyuk Noh | NCD | D. Kim (R) | #N/A | #N/A |
Another dual-eligible target, Noh runs hot and cold but batting .313 versus RHP with six doubles, four home runs, and 17 RBI while accruing 11 walks this year over 96 at-bats. Dinos should score plenty versus the Lotte bullpen game.
3B | Kyoung Min Hur | DOO | S. Lee (L) | $2,900 | 8 |
An early-season favorite only gets a bump moving atop the Bears loaded lineup. Hur's hit safely in five of his last six contests with multiple hits in his last three straight during which he's 9-for-24 (.375) with six runs, two home runs and four RBI.
OF | Preston Tucker | KIA | S. Jang (R) | $5,900 | 10.2 |
Since the KT Wiz game seems like a washout, Tucker's power moves him up the ranks and makes taking a chance on Mel Rojas Jr. very risky. Tucker owns a .350 average versus RHP and gets a pitcher who allows hits to right-handed hitters at a higher rate (.381). As a sweetener, Tucker's launched seven home runs against RHP this year with 25 RBI and gets a juicy match-up.
1B/OF | Ja Wook Koo | SAM | J. Park (R) | $4,700 | 9.68 |
Koo faces a RHP with a 9.00 ERA in June allowing hitters to bat over .300 against him. Koo's hit two home runs with five RBI his last six games racking up eight hits and four runs in them.
OF | Kun Woo Park | DOO | S. Lee (L) | $3,800 | 8.75 |
Settling in batting third for Doosan, Park carries a .323 average versus southpaws into this game and batting .410/.452/.487 slash his last 10 with eight runs, three doubles, and 11 RBI. Park's a solid floor guy with upside in any given slate making him a nice cash game play and possibly a GPP option.
OF | Hee Dong Kwon | NCD | D. Kim (R) | $2,900 | 8.56 |
More of a GPP target, Kwon's homered in consecutive games and hit second for the first place Dinos. Add in his 1.053 OPS over his last 10 and Kwon makes a sensible upside play at his price.
OF | Aaron Altherr | NCD | D. Kim (R) | $5,500 | 10.2 |
A little more expensive but a bit more reliable as well, Altherr's heating up again batting .303/.343/.605 his last 10 with seven runs and seven RBI while stealing two bases. By the way, Altherr's also cracked dingers his last two games and three in his last five.
1B/OF | Jin Sung Kang | NCD | D. Kim (R)
He's due to rebound, right? Kang's fallen out of the KBO lead in batting average but still hits .370 versus RHP and should be a part of the Dinos success on Tuesday if they score big against the Giants. |
Stacks
Team Stacks | |||||
1 | NCD | Dinos | Opp. Pitcher | Dae Woo Kim (R)
Stack | Min Woo Park | Hee Dong Kwon | Sung Bum Na | Eui Ji Yang | Aaron Altherr |
Take your pick, one could use the top of the order, focus on the players on NC highlighted in the playbook or just fit them in throughout a lineup in DFS on Tuesday due to the high run total in this game and knowing they could get deep into the Lotte bullpen forcing a pitcher to wear it.
2 | DOO | Bears | Opp. Pitcher | Seong Ho Lee (L)
Mini-Stack | Kyoung Min Hur | Jose Fernandez | Kun Woo Park | Jae Hwan Kim | Joo Hwan Choi |
Even though the odds put this game with Kiwoom as a slight favorite, Doosan could score eight or more in this match-up. Lee allows a .308 average to LHH and .286 average to RHH. His 1.96 ERA in June comes with an 11:7 K:BB which means luck could be a factor.
3 | KIA | Tigers | Opp. Pitcher | Shi Hwang Jang (R)
Mini-stack | Preston Tucker | Hyung Woo Choi | Min Sang Yoo
This game comes with a run total of nine but Kia's a -230 favorite. Jang gives up a .381 batting average to left-handed hitters so I listed the top three lefties in the Kia lineup. Of course, righties hit .276 against Jang as well but taking the splits advantage in a mini-stack may help on Tuesday. Do not ignore Ho Ryung Kim but he's slumped a bit of late and hits right-handed. |
