(SU) Junichi Tazawa (R)--Earned his 16th hold of the season Friday night after recording the final two outs of the seventh inning. Tazawa allowed one walk in the outing, but was able to force two fly ball outs to end the threat. 13 PC-5 ST (7/19/13)
(MR) Andrew Bailey (R)--Earned his eighth hold of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one walk while striking out two batters on 17 pitches thrown. Injured--Joel Hanrahan (Forearm)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)âRecorded his 24th save of the season in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader despite allowing one run on two hits in the 11th inning. Reed has has got the job done of late despite allowing a lot of base runners, but eventually that will come back to bite him. 15 PC-12 ST (7/13/13)
(SU) Matt Lindstrom (R)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Friday night allowing one hit and one walk on 17 pitches thrown. Lindstrom got himself into a jam, but was able to work through it by forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out to keep the White Sox within striking distance. 17 PC-10 ST (7/19/13)

(SU) Joe Smith (R)--Took the loss on Friday night after allowing one run on three hits and one walk in the eighth inning. With this appearance Smith fell to 4-1 on the season in what was definitely not the way he wanted to start the second half. 24 PC-15 ST (7/19/13)
(MR) Vinny Pestano (R)--Picked up his 12th hold of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing two hits on 17 pitches thrown. Pestano got him self into a jam but was able to work through it forcing two fly ball outs while striking out one batter to escape unharmed. 17 PC-13 ST (7/13/13)Detroit Tigers(CL) Solid Joaquin Benoit (R)âRecorded the final two outs of the ninth inning on Sunday striking out the only two batters he faced on 17 pitches thrown. Benoit has pitched well since taking over the closer role and appears to have a strong hold on the position heading into the second half. 17 PC-11 ST (7/14/13)
(SU) Bruce Rondon (R)--Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Friday night retiring all four batters he faced in order. Rondon has pitched well since being promoted from Triple-A, so expect him to stay around for a while. 15 PC-11 ST (7/19/13)
(MR) Al Alburquerque (R)--Was used in the ninth inning on Saturday night in a non-save situation allowing three runs on two hits and one walk. Alburquerque has not been pitching well as of late having surrendered six runs over his last three appearances, so hopefully he can turn things around int he second half so he cam remain in the Tigers bullpen. 22 PC-15 ST (7/13/13)

Veras got himself out of an early jam by forcing two ground ball outs while striking out one batter to securing the win for Jarred Cosart, who was making his Major League debut. 28 PC-19 ST (7/12/13)

(MR) Wesley Wright (L)âTook the loss on Wednesday night after allowing one run on one hit in the seventh inning. Collins failed to record an out in the appearance falling to 2-4 on the season after this miserable performance. 6 PC-4 ST (7/12/13)Los Angeles Angels(CL) Solid Ernesto Frieri (R)âRecorded his 23rd save of the season Friday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning needing only 13 pitches to work through the appearance. Frieri started the second half of the season on a high note, but considering all the innings on his arm, it will be interesting to see how it will all play out. 13 PC-10 ST (7/19/13)
(MR) Kevin Jepsen (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Saturday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Jepsen needed only 12 pitches to work through the frame, forcing one fly ball out while striking out two batters to keep the game respectable. 12 PC-7 ST (7/13/13)

Perkins has been one of the best closers in the American League this season, and it appears after this appearance he is primed for a big second half. 9 PC-8 ST (7/19/13)
(SU) Casey Fien (R)--Picked up the win on Friday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one walk while striking out two batters on 17 pitches thrown. Fien improved to 2-2 following this appearance as he continues to work as the setup man for Glen Perkins. 17 PC-8 ST (7/19/13)
(MR) Jared Burton (R)âPitched 1.1 innings of relief on Sunday allowing one hit on only 11 pitches thrown. After a few rough weeks, Burton has turned things around and has now put together three straight scoreless relief appearances. 11 PC-7 ST (7/14/13)New York Yankees(CL) Elite Mariano Rivera (R)âRecorded his 30th save of the season Friday night after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning striking out one batter on nine pitches thrown. (SU) David Robertson (R)âEarned his 22nd hold of the season Friday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. (MR) Boone Logan (R)âPitched 0.1 innings of relief on Friday night allowing one walk on 12 pitches thrown. Logan was used to get the final out of the seventh inning, and was able to do so without allowing any runs to score. 12 PC-6 ST (7/19/13)Oakland Athletics(CL) Elite Grant Balfour (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Sunday in a non-save situation striking out the side on 15 pitches thrown. Balfour finishes the first half with 25 saves with a 1.63 ERA, which ranks him near the top of relievers in the American League. 15 PC-12 ST (7/14/13)
(SU) Ryan Cook (R)--Picked u p the win on Sunday after pitching two scoreless innings of relief allowing one hit and two walks on 29 pitches thrown. With this appearance Cook improved to 2-2 on the season with a 2.38 ERA. (7/14/13)
(MR) Sean Doolittle (L)âPitched 1.2 innings of relief on Sunday allowing one walk on 17 pitches thrown. Doolittle has been very inconsistent this season, but at least he is ending the first half on a high note. 17 PC-11 ST (7/14/13)Seattle Mariners(CL) Shaky Tom Wilhelmsen (R)--Recorded his 20th save of the season Friday night despite allowing one run on two hits in 1.1 innings of relief. (SU) Oliver Perez (L)--Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Thursday allowing one walk while striking out three batters. Perez threw 30 pitches in the appearance, and has now pitched back-to-back days, so expect him to get the day off on Friday. 30 PC-20 ST (7/11/13)
(MR)  Charlie Furbush (L)--Picked up his eighth hold of the season Sunday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Soria has pitched well since making his return last Sunday, having now pitched three straight scoreless releif appearances to start his season. 16 PC-9 ST (7/13/13)Toronto Blue Jays(CL) Solid Casey Janssen (R)âRecorded his 18 save of the season Saturday after striking out the only two batters he faced in the ninth inning.
