Fantasy Baseball Daily League Sleepers, Value Plays, & MLB Daily Lineup Decisions for July 2nd

P John Lackey Red Sox ($15,550, 16% of cap at Draft Day - Play Now): Lackey gets the Padres, has a 1.36 home ERA, and should get the run support needed to get the "W." Tough not to spend on Strasburg tonight as Carlos Gomez, Jean Seguran and Jonathan Lucroy are out of the Brewers lineup and the game is in Washington (weather a concern though).

OF Raul Ibanez Mariners ($4,000, 11.4% of cap at Fan Duel - Play Now): Raul Ibanez is batting .300 with two home runs in last seven days, 13 of his 19 home runs have come of of RHP, and the M's opponent, Justin Grimm has allowed over 2 HR/9 in June, K’s down, walks up and a ERA of 9.

OF Nolan Reimold Orioles ($55,000, 5.5% of cap at Daily Joust - Play Now): Get the R/L matchup and Reimold has a track record versus LHP John Danks

OF Desmond Jennings Rays ($6,544, 6.5% of cap at Draft Street - Play Now): Going with Jennings again as he loves left-handed pitching to the tune of .326 and is 2-4 with HR and a walk of Bedard

1B Freedie Freeman Braves ($92,000, 9.2% of cap at Daily Joust - Play Now): Freeman is more a value than a sleeper play at this price tag. Freeman is crushing all pitching, but eight of his nine home runs have come off of righties.

2B Brian Roberts Orioles ($2,700,7.7% of cap Fan Duel - Play Now): Great track record vs John Danks at 8-for-22 (.364).

3B Michael Young Phillies ($6,316, 6.3% of cap at Draft Street - Play Now): Michael Young is leading off vs Pirates Brandon Cumpton.

SS Pedro Florimon Twins ($55,000, 5.5% of cap at Daily Joust - Play Now ): switch-hitting Pedro Florimon (4-5% of cap) who has three home runs (all off of RHP) and seven stolen bases on the season. I do like J.J. Hardy best of all and he is only about 7-8% of your cap and is 7-for-18 (.389) in his career off of John Danks.

C Russell Martin Pirates ($3,700, 7.4% of cap at Draft Kings - Play Now): Martin is batting in the two-hole tonight vs Jonathan Pettibone who he went 2-for-2 with a home run off of in their last meeting.
