Daily League Sleepers: VEGAS BABY!!!!

Fantasy Baseball Daily League Sleepers, Value Plays, & MLB Daily Lineup Decisions for Sat. Aug. 10th

Friday night was a very exciting evening of DFS play for me as I was lucky enough to take down Draft Kings' Vegas qualifier for the 2013 NFL Opening Weekend Party at at Lagasse Stadium.

So needless to say I had trouble sleeping I was so amped up, thus I figured I would give out some picks for today.

P Alex Wood Braves ($6,600, 13.2% of cap at Draft Kings- Play Now): No Giancarlo Stanton in Marlins starting lineup and Wood is a ground ball pitcher (56.4% GB) with an impressive 3.15 K/BB ratio.

OF Justin Maxwell Royals ($8,700, 8.7% of cap at Fan Throwdown- Play Now ): Max has been Mad Hot since coming over to the Royals as he is hitting .471 with three home runs in just 17 at-bats after hitting just two in 137 at-bats with his former club.

OF Jon Jay Cards ($6,556, 6.6% of cap at Draft Street - Play Now ): Of course I like the lefty bats in the Rangers outfield (see Teams to Stack below), but another discounted option to consider would be Jon Jay who is 3-for-9 in his career versus Cubs Carlos Villanueva.

1B Mitch Moreland Rangers ($7,500, 7.5% of cap Draft Day - Play Now ): 14 of Moreland's 16 home runs have come off of right handed pitching and tonight's opponent, Astros right-hander Brad Peacock, has a HR/FB at 19%.

2B Jurickson Profar Rangers ($2,400, 5.6% of cap Fan Duel- Play Now): Favorable matchup versus Astros Brad Peacock (see above) and Profar hits better from the left side of the plate.

SS Stephen Drew Red Sox ($3,700, 7.4% of cap at Draft Kings- Play Now): Drew is cheaper at Draft Kings than many other SS tonight despite the fact he leads all shortstops in on-base percentage at .516 over the last seven days and you get the L/R matchup versus Royals Jeremy Guthrie.

3B Cody Asche Phillies ($3,300, 3.3% of cap Fan Throwdown- Play Now): L/R matchup versus Nationals righty Taylor Jordan and Asche is hitting .313 over his last six games.

C Jarrod Saltalamacchia Red Sox ($2,800, 8.1% of cap at Fan Duel- Play Now): 6-for-12 with a home run and a triple off of Jeremy Guthrie in his career.
