Hunter hasn't been pitching well as of late, so hopefully the All-Star break will be just what he needs to get back on track. 23 PC-12 ST (7/14/13) (MR) Darren O’Day (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Saturday allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 13 pitches thrown. O'Day has now pitched back-to-back days so expect him to get the day off on Sunday. 13 PC-9 ST (7/13/13)Boston Red Sox(CL) Shaky Koji Uehara (R)–Pitched two innings of relief on Sunday in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 21 pitches thrown. Reed has has got the job done of late despite allowing a lot of base runners, but eventually that will come back to bite him. 15 PC-12 ST (7/13/13) (SU) Matt Lindstrom (R)--Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Sunday allowing one hit while striking out one batter on six pitches thrown. He threw only one pitch in the appearance forcing one ground ball out to carry the lead into the ninth inning. 1 PC-1 ST (7/12/13) (MR) Vinny Pestano (R)--Picked up his 12th hold of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing two hits on 17 pitches thrown. Pestano got him self into a jam but was able to work through it forcing two fly ball outs while striking out one batter to escape unharmed. 17 PC-13 ST (7/13/13)Detroit Tigers(CL) Solid Joaquin Benoit (R)–Recorded the final two outs of the ninth inning on Sunday striking out the only two batters he faced on 17 pitches thrown. Alburquerque has not been pitching well as of late having surrendered six runs over his last three appearances, so hopefully he can turn things around int he second half so he cam remain in the Tigers bullpen. 22 PC-15 ST (7/13/13) Injured– Octavio Dotel (Shoulder)Houston Astros(CL) Solid Jose Veras (R)–Collected his 18th save of the season Friday night despite allowing one run on tow hits in the ninth inning. Veras got himself out of an early jam by forcing two ground ball outs while striking out one batter to securing the win for Jarred Cosart, who was making his Major League debut. 28 PC-19 ST (7/12/13) (SU) Hector Ambriz (R)--Pitched one inning of relief on Monday surrendering three runs on four hits and two walks. Ambriz threw 36 pitches in the appearance, so there is a good chance he will be unavailable for Tuesday's contest. 36 PC-19 ST (7/1/13) (MR) Wesley Wright (L)–Took the loss on Wednesday night after allowing one run on one hit in the seventh inning. Wright falls to 0-3 after this appearance, having now allowed two runs over his last three appearances. 8 PC-4 ST (7/10/13)Kansas City Royals(CL) Solid Greg Holland (R)–Earned his 22nd save of the season Tuesday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning striking out one batter on 12 pitches thrown. Collins failed to record an out in the appearance falling to 2-4 on the season after this miserable performance. 6 PC-4 ST (7/12/13)Los Angeles Angels(CL) Solid Ernesto Frieri (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Sunday allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 16 pitches thrown. This was Frieri's first appearance in a week, so he will have plenty of time to rest with the All-Star break approaching. 16 PC-13 ST (7/14/13) (MR) Kevin Jepsen (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Saturday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Jepsen needed only 12 pitches to work through the frame, forcing one fly ball out while striking out two batters to keep the game respectable. 12 PC-7 ST (7/13/13) (SU) Scott Downs (L)–Pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Sunday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Rivera continues to get the job done for the Yankees, having been a major part of the team's success in the first half of the season. 9 PC-7 ST (7/12/13) (SU) David Robertson (R)–Earned his 22nd hold of the season Friday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Robertson needed 15 pitches to work through the frame, forcing one ground ball out while striking out two batters to get the job done. 15 PC-8 ST (7/12/13) (MR) Boone Logan (R)–Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Sunday forcing the only two batters he faced to ground out on eight pitches to get the job done. Logan ends the first half with five holds and a 2.16 ERA, but has little fantasy value considering hiis low holds total. 8 PC-3 ST (7/14/13)Oakland Athletics(CL) Elite Grant Balfour (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Sunday in a non-save situation striking out the side on 15 pitches thrown. Balfour finishes the first half with 25 saves with a 1.63 ERA, which ranks him near the top of relievers in the American League. 15 PC-12 ST (7/14/13) (SU) Ryan Cook (R)--Picked u p the win on Sunday after pitching two scoreless innings of relief allowing one hit and two walks on 29 pitches thrown. With this appearance Cook improved to 2-2 on the season with a 2.38 ERA. (7/14/13) (MR) Sean Doolittle (L)–Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Sunday allowing one walk on 17 pitches thrown. Doolittle has been very inconsistent this season, but at least he is ending the first half on a high note. 17 PC-11 ST (7/14/13)Seattle Mariners(CL) Shaky Tom Wilhelmsen (R)--Recorded his 19th save of the season Sunday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning needing only 14 pitches to get the  job done. Wilhelmsen had a rough outing last time out, so it was nice to see him end the first half on a high note. 14 PC-7 ST (7/14/13) (SU) Oliver Perez (L)--Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Thursday allowing one walk while striking out three batters. Perez threw 30 pitches in the appearance, and has now pitched back-to-back days, so expect him to get the day off on Friday. 30 PC-20 ST (7/11/13) (MR)  Charlie Furbush (L)--Picked up his eighth hold of the season Sunday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Furbush needed 13 pitches to work through the frame, forcing two fly ball outs to go along with his strikeout to secure the Mariners lead. 13 PC-11 ST (7/14/13) Injured–Stephen Pryor (back)Tampa Bay Rays(CL) Solid Fernando Rodney (R)–Collected his 22nd save of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Rodney needed only 11 pitches to work through the frame, forcing one ground ball out while striking out two batters to get the job done. 11 PC-8 ST (7/13/13) (SU) Joel Peralta (R)–Picked up his 24th hold of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Peralta had himself a great first half of the season, but will likely stay in the setup role with Fernando Rodney pitching well as of late. 12 PC-7 ST (7/13/13) (MR) Jake McGee (L)--Earned his 18th hold of the season Saturday after pitching a 1-2-3 seventh inning. McGee has really turned his season around after a terrible April and May, so hopefully he will be able to keep in up when the second half of the season starts on Friday. 12 PC-9 ST (7/13/13)Texas Rangers(CL) Elite Joe Nathan (R)–Recorded his 30th save of the season Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Nathan has now pitched back-to-back days, but has limited his pitch counts in those contests, so he should be available on Tuesday. 19 PC-12 ST (7/8/13) (SU) Tanner Scheppers (R)–Picked up his 18th hold of the season Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Scheppers bounced back nicely after a rough outing on Saturday, so hopefully this appearance will get him going back in the right direction. (MR) Joakim Soria (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Saturday night allowing one hit while striking out two batters on 16 pitches thrown. Soria has pitched well since making his return last Sunday, having now pitched three straight scoreless releif appearances to start his season. 16 PC-9 ST (7/13/13)Toronto Blue Jays(CL) Solid Casey Janssen (R)–Recorded his 18 save of the season Saturday after striking out the only two batters he faced in the ninth inning. He needed only nine pitches to work through the appearance, bouncing back nicely from a poor performance his last time out. 9 PC-7 ST (7/13/13) (SU) Steve Delabar (R)--Earned his fifth hold of the season Saturday after pitching 0.2 innings of relief allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter on 17 pitches thrown. Delabar has had a great first half of the season and along with Brett Cecil will be representing the Blue Jays in the All-Star game. 17 PC-9 ST (7/13/13) (MR) Brett Cecil (L)--Pitched one inning of relief on Saturday allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two batter on 23 pitches thrown. This was the second straight night in which he was used outside of the closer role, so it isn't looking good for him, in terms of closing, moving forward. 16 PC-12 ST (7/13/13) (CL) Committee David Hernandez (R)–Recorded his second save of the season Friday night after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning. Despite his recent struggles, the Diamondbacks elected to go with Hernandez in the ninth inning in this contest, but there has been no official word as to whether or not it is now his lob to lose. 19 PC-13 ST (7/12/13) (CL) Committee Brad Ziegler (R)--Collected his third save of the season Saturday night after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning. Ziegler has now been used as closer in two of the last three games, but it appears the team is going to go with the hot hand, which limits all three players' fantasy values heading into the second half. 11 PC-7 ST (7/13/13) Injured: Matt Reynolds (Elbow)Atlanta Braves(CL) Elite Craig Kimbrel (R)–Recorded his 26th save of the season Saturday after striking out the side in the ninth inning on 15 pitches thrown. Kimbrel has really come into a zone over his last few appearances, having struck out seven batters over his last 3.0 innings pitched. 15 PC-11 ST (7/13/13) (SU)  Jordan Walden (R)--Picked up his eight hold of the season Thursday despite allowing one run (unearned) on one hit and one walk. Walden needed 36 pitches to get through the appearance, so expect him to get the day off on Friday. 36 PC-21 ST (7/11/13) (MR) Luis Avilan (L)--Picked up his 14th hold of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit and one walk on 26 pitches thrown. Hoover (R)--Pitched a scoreless fifth inning on Sunday allowing one hit on 13 pitches thrown. Lopez's up and down season continued in this contest, but does not have to worry about losing his spot in the Rockies bullpen considering his ability to go multiple innings. 21 PC-14 ST (7/9/13)Los Angeles Dodgers(CL) Solid Kenley Jansen (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Sunday allowing one hit while striking out two batters to get through the frame. This was a non-save situation for Jansen, who had pitched only once since last Sunday. 12 PC-10 ST (7/14/13) (SU) Ronald Belisario (R)–Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Sunday allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter on 21 pitches thrown. Belisario has been pitching well as of late, so hopefully the addition time off doesn't set him back. 21 PC-12 ST (7/14/13) (MR) Brandon League (R)–Was used in the ninth inning Thursday night allowing one run on one hit while striking out two batters. League's struggles continued in this contest, but has been removed from any significant roles, so he won't have the chance to blow any more games for the Dodgers. 16 PC-11 ST (7/11/13)Miami Marlins(CL) Solid Steve Cishek (R)–Took the loss on Sunday after allowing three runs on three hits over 1.1 innings of relief. Cishek had been pitching great leading up to this contest, so a slip up in this one shouldn't hurt his stock heading into the second half. 25 PC-17 ST (7/14/13) (SU) Mike Dunn (L)--Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Sunday allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 18 pitches thrown. Dunn forced one ground ball out and two fly ball outs to get through the appearance to keep the game tied at two runs a piece. 18 PC-14 ST (7/14/13) (MR) A.J. Ramos (R)--Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Sunday allowing two walks on 15 pitches thrown. Papelbon had been pitching well after his most recent skid, so hopefully this doesn't carry into the second half of the season. 23 PC-14 ST (7/14/13) (SU) Antonio Bastardo (L)–Picked up the win on Sunday after pitching a scoreless 10th inning needing only seven pitches to work through the frame. Bastardo improved to 3-2 on the season and may be in line to get some save chances in the second half if the Phillies start to sell off some of their bullpen arms. 7 PC-6 ST (7/14/13) (MR) Justin De Fratus (R)--Pitched a scoreless 11th inning in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader allowing one hit and two walks on 20 pitches thrown. De Fratus was used in both ends of the doubleheader, so expect him to get the day off on Sunday. 20 PC-6 ST (7/13/13) Injured--Mike Adams (Shoulder)Pittsburgh Pirates(CL) Elite Jason Grilli (R)–Recorded his 29th save of the season Saturday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning needing only eight pitches to get through the frame. Grilli has had the best season of his career at the age of 36, so hopefully the extra time off the next few days won't work against him. 8 PC-7 ST (7/13/13) (SU) Mark Melancon (R)--Earned his 25th hold of the season Saturday after pitching yet another scoreless eighth inning. Melancon retired all three batters he faced in order, forcing three ground ball outs on only nine pitches thrown, lowering his earned-run average to 0.81 on the season. 9 PC-6 ST (7/13/13) (MR) Tony Watson (L)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Friday night allowing two hits on 20 pitches thrown.
