Third base is arguably the most frustrating fielding position to roster in Fantasy Baseball. There are a lot of power hitting options, but few offer a consistent combo of power, average, and health at the hot corner. In addition, some of the top tier third baseman are aging rapidly, while many of the former hot prospects have not lived up to the expectations Fantasy Baseball owners felt they would have already reached. As you view these rankings, I want to point out that I did take into consideration the likely hood that a player may miss time due to an injury, which is why you may find some of the aging veterans a little lower compared to many of the other Experts Consensus Rankings (ECR).
