Junior Caminero Chalkboard MLB Pick: OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI

Caminero has three multi-hit efforts in his last seven games, slashing .385/.414/.538 during that stretch. Sure, he only has three runs scored and four RBI despite all of those base knocks, but even outside of these last seven, he has an .844 OPS and 129 wRC+ in the month of June. For the season, he has a .906 OPS against lefties, a 1.014 OPS at home, and a .303 ISO when hitting at home against a lefty!

Since joining the Washington rotation, Alvarez may have a 2.84 ERA, but what I’m seeing is a 4.77 xERA and 3.58 FIP. Alvarez has been knocked around a bit more by lefties this year, believe it or not, but it’s hard to not look at Caminero here with how impressive he’s been at home, and against lefties so far in 2026. Trust the hot bat!

Travis Bazzana Chalkboard MLB Pick: OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI

Bazzana just went bananas last night, racking up four hits (2 HR), and I say we go back to the well here again this afternoon! Even prior to last night’s monster game, Bazzana was hitting .261 with a .478 SLG and .395 wOBA in the seven games prior. The young second baseman has been excellent against RHP this year, slashing .327/.409/.600 with a .273 ISO and .429 wOBA! His home/road splits are also quite favorable today, as six of his seven home runs on the year have come on the road, and his road ISO (.276) is more than double that of his mark at home (.123).

With all that in mind, you guessed it, Bazzana and the Guardians will take on a righty today in Kai-Wei Teng. The Houston right-hander has an 8.83 ERA, 7.66 FIP, and 3.12 HR/9 over his last four starts (17.1 IP). He hasn’t been good, to say the least, and well would you look at that, Teng has struggled mightily against left-handed hitters. Lefties have posted a .553 SLG, .408 wOBA, and 2.45 HR/9 against Teng!

I love this matchup for Bazzana, as he looks to close out a strong series, and extend his 1.5 hits + runs + RBI to five straight.
