While dissecting today’s MLB slate, we’ve found some fantastic spots for value. Obviously, we’ll look at what the offenses can deliver at hitter-friendly Sutter Health Park, but even in some pitcher-friendly environments, there are still some really bad pitchers we can target against. We’ll dive in and find some booster picks and maybe even some anchor picks if they’re offering, but most importantly, we’re looking for profits. So, let’s dive in.

Andy Pages Chalkboard Fantasy MLB Pick: More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (1.73x)

Typically, I like to stay with the lefty/righty splits when I’m targeting against a guy like Griffin Canning, but Pages is white-hot right now, and while Canning is only allowing righties to post a .292 wOBA against him this year, for his career, they’re posting a .335 wOBA. Pages has hit safely in eight-straight games, he’s cleared the 1.5-HRR mark in seven of them, and he’s rocking a .374 wOBA with a .217 ISO against righthanders this season. The Dodgers are going to score some runs, and Pages will be at the heart of the production.

Jonathan Aranda Chalkboard Fantasy MLB Pick: More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (1.67x)

I love using Aranda for these contests because, no matter how well he hits, his picks never get juiced up to the point where there’s no value. There’s tremendous value here, especially when you look at this match-up. Texas righthander Kumar Rocker is allowing lefthanded hitters to post a massive .477 wOBA against him, which also comes with a .659 slugging percentage. Aranda owns a team-leading .418 wOBA against righthanders this season, has hit safely in eight of his last nine games, and has cleared this 1.5-HRR mark in six of those eight games. This should be a solid pick for us to lock in.
