Reds vs. Braves Prediction: Thursday, September 24th

As the regular season comes to a conclusion at the end of this week the Braves will be moving on and the Reds will be going home! That holds some standing over the betting of this game but its mostly due to a pitching mismatch. 

Brady Singer will take the hill for the final time this season and it was a brutal campaign for the right handed hurler. He stands right now with a 5.67 ERA on the season and in his last three starts he's given up 21 hits and 21 earned runs in the last 12.1 innings pitched. A meeting with this Braves offense that has a wOBA of .333 is not going to help his standing either. 

On the other side of the game is Tyler Mahle, who since be acquired from the Giants has allowed just seven earned runs over the course of 49 innings pitched. He has also has an OBA of .191 in the month of September! Due to these numbers and the fact the Reds hold a .133 isolated power mark over the past two weeks I feel confident recommending the Braves to win on the Run Line tonight. 

In addition to that Singer is buns against left handed hitting so let's get a prop up in here. Singer is allowing a .312 average and .909 OPS on the season to that side of the plate and 23 home runs to boot. This means its time to fire up Drake Baldwin once again as he's hitting .400 with a 1.000 OPS over the past week and batting leadoff in front of this lineup is a great spot to be in.
