Los Angeles Angels vs. Milwaukee Brewers Predictions: Tuesday, September 16th
It’s the start of a new series in Milwaukee tonight as the Angels are in town for a 3-game series! This one has mismatch written all over it, as you can expect, but what are the wagers to make on it? Let’s dive into the numbers!
The first thing to watch is the Brewers' offense, which isn’t performing great in terms of power, but they are stacking up runners and hits with their BABIP reaching .326 over the past 2 weeks, and that’s the 2nd-highest mark in MLB right now. Another reason to expect big things from the Brew Crew lineup is a matchup against Caden Dana, the 21-year-old prospect for the Angels who is making his 8th career start, and since his return to the big he’s given up 6 earned runs on 9.2 innings pitched and has 6 total walks allowed. Easy to see why the Brewers will post some runs tonight, given the data, so give me the home team to go over 4.5 team total runs.Â
The other wager to make is on the arm of Freddy Peralta, who finally had a lackluster game in his previous start, but don’t let that sway your opinion; the guy has been on fire. Over the past 38 innings pitched, he’s allowed just 6 earned runs and 19 hits, but what’s more impressive is the 51 strikeouts! His K-prop sits at a whopping 8.5 tonight, which is a high number, but the Angels are striking out at a rate of 30.7% over the past 2 weeks, the 2nd most in MLB. I will take the gamble based on those stats and grab the Peralta strikeouts at plus money.Â
- Expert Angels vs. Brewers Predictions:Â
- Brewers Team Total Over 4.5 Runs (-130 on DraftKings)
- Freddy Peralta (MIL) Over 8.5 Strikeouts (+105 on DraftKings)

New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins Predictions: Tuesday, September 16th
After a surprising Twins win yesterday, the Yankees are looking to get back on the horse today with their young upstart pitcher on the mound! Cam Schlittler will get the ball against the Twins' Zebby Matthews today, so let’s dive into the matchup.Â
The Yankees remain in the playoff hunt and are expected to be a wild card at this point, although after 2 straight losses, the heat is on. Luckily, Schlittler will be on the bump, and he’s been excellent dating back to early August! Over the course of the last 41.1 innings pitched, the 24-year-old pitcher has collected 48 strikeouts with just 32 hits and 11 earned runs allowed! Tough to see a Twins team with a .166 isolated power mark threatening those numbers and a team BABIP of just .285 over the past month.Â
The Yankees' offense is also above average on the road this season, scoring 5.31 runs per game, the 2nd most of any team in MLB, and they have maintained a record of over .500 throughout their road games. It also helps their cause that they’ll go up against Zebby Matthews, who is the definition of mediocre with his ERA in the high 4s and his hits allowed around 6-7 per game. I like the Yankees to win tonight on the even -1 alternate line to make up some juice in the odds.Â
- Expert Yankees vs. Twins Predictions:Â
- Yankees Alt Run Line -1 (-130 on DraftKings)
