Braves vs. Brewers Predictions: Wednesday, June 11th
It’s the third matchup in this interdivisional matchup between the Braves and Brewers. They’ve all been dominated by pitching in one way or another thus far. With just 13 runs scored in the opening pair of games, you would think some offense may finally break through. With the pitchers on the mound tonight, though, I just don’t see it.Â
Starting with the Brewers, their entire team has been underwhelming for a while now. In their last 5 games, they’ve scored just 9 total runs but have won 2 of those games due to good pitching. They’ll need to lean on that again with Chad Patrick on the bump today. He has been super productive dating back to the start of May. In 44 innings pitched, Patrick has allowed just 15 runs, 36 hits, and has 41 strikeouts – not too shabby! I expect him to continue his good play today as we move on to the Atlanta side of things.Â
Spencer Schwellenbach will start for the Braves today. He’s had a really nice stretch as well, with just 17 earned runs allowed in the last 43 innings pitched. During that streak, he has also pitched into the 7th inning in 4 of those 8 starts, making him an efficient starter to say the least. I don’t think the Brewers lineup will test him much either, as they’re hitting .251 over the past 2 weeks. I look for this game to be lower-scoring and for Schwellenbach to have another solid outing, so give me the under this afternoon and the Braves starter to go into the 7th inning.Â
- Expert Braves vs. Brewers Picks:Â
- Under 8.5 Runs (-120 on DraftKings Sportsbook)
- Spencer Schwellenbach Over 18.5 Outs Recorded (+125 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Mariners vs. Diamondbacks Predictions: Wednesday, June 11th
I wrote up the first game in this series on Monday and went 2 for 2 on the picks. So let’s go back to the well here today and get some more winners! The Mariners have yet to draw blood and win a game vs. Arizona. In fact, they’ve given up 18 runs over the past couple against the Diamondbacks, but I see things turning around for Seattle this afternoon.Â
Bryan Woo will start for Seattle, and it's much needed as their pitching has fallen short of expectations on this road trip. He did get rocked in his last start against the Orioles. However, in the month of May, he was incredible with a 2.58 ERA, just 34 hits allowed over 38.1 innings pitched, and 33 strikeouts while only walking 2 batters! He’s also very good against both righties and lefties this season, allowing a .231 and .207 average and OPS's of under .700. The books have this game as a pick ‘em tonight, but I see the edge going to the Mariners as they avoid the sweep and win this one outright.Â
In addition to backing the Mariners to win, I like the spot their hitters are in today against Eduardo Rodriguez with his 6.7 ERA and 1.65 WHIP! He’s allowed opposing hitters on both sides of the plate an average above .300, and the OPS is nearly touching .900! This is where superstar big dumper catcher Cal Raleigh comes into play as he’s hitting a .299 against lefties this season with an OPS of 1.004. It could be a big game for Raleigh tonight, and I must lay down some money on that prospect to go over his hits/runs/RBIs prop.Â
- Expert Mariners vs. Diamondbacks Picks:
- Mariners Money Line (-110 on DraftKings Sportsbook)
- Cal Raleigh (SEA) Over 1.5 Hits/Runs/RBIs (-125 on DraftKings Sportsbook)
