Welcome to the MLB DFS Optimal Lineups for Tuesday, May 1.

What to do with all this top-tier pitching? Makes me crazy. If you're investing, you want to make sure you've got the right guy. Maximizing the production from this type of investment is critical. It looks like you can build a decent enough offense on FanDuel if you go with Max Scherzer as the highest-priced pitcher, but on DK, it's going to be very important who you use as a second starter. Michael Wacha is considered the biggest favorite on the slate, but even he's a little pricey. I'm checking out the potential for Matt Koch against a VERY depeleted Dodgers team (Kershaw or not) and possibly Nick Tropeano at home against the Orioles.

The bats are going to be interesting as you can expect a lot of Cardinals and Brewers with James Shields and Homer Bailey as the respective opposing pitchers. I kind of like Oakland/Seattle as a potential game stack, but might just fish for some one-offs instead. Lots to look at, but after rolling through all the tools, here's what Jon Impemba and I are looking at today.
