KT Rolster v Nongshim RedForce

Anyone’s Legend v TOP Esports

Short slate scheduled for Wednesday, with only one game per league being played. The final week of matches in a split always brings the best out of teams. The teams out of playoff contention are looking to end the Spring Split on a high note as they move into the mid-season break and the top tier teams look for their final tune up before the playoffs. With fewer teams playing and fewer players to choose from, maximizing your salary is going to be key! Let’s dive in!

Fantasy Value Breakdown

Game #1: KT Rolster v Nongshim RedForce

Game Breakdown: This has to be seen as a complete failure of a split for the Nongshim RedForce side. They have made some serious moves to retool this team and get them into a competitive form but it has been a trainwreck since about week three. Ghost has been completely exposed at this point for being a utility ADC at best and more likely a decent player who was carried by the play of Canyon and ShowMaker. He has 83 kills on the split, which puts him at a sub 3 kill per game average. In a season dominated by ADCs, this is horrific. In contrast, Aiming from KT Rolster is one of the top players in the entire league. He has a 36% team kill share percentage and 160 kills. KT also has a pretty big gap in their ability to move around the map as a team. NS players like Bdd and Canna can find leads in their lane, but they disappear in the late game. KT has a singular focus and that is getting to their teamfights and allowing Aiming and Aria to carry the team. This will be a pretty close series so picking up some NS players like Bdd, Dread, and Canna should net you a decent amount of points.

Favorite Picks: Aiming (KT: $11,700/$), Life (KT: $5,200), Cuzz (KT: $6,800)

Value Picks: Bdd (NS: $9,900/$), Canna (NS: $5,800), Dread (NS: $6,400), Nongshim RedForce ($4,600)

Cann’s Match Pick: KT Rolster (2-1)

Game #2: Anyone’s Legend v TOP Esports

Game Breakdown: Both of these teams feel scrappy to me. Anyone’s Legend just found a shocking win over EDG, while TES has shot up through the standings since the halfway point in the split. Both Betty (AL) and JackeyLove (TES) have benefitted from the ADC role being able to carry so much weight for the team now and we see that through both of their stat lines. Betty has 160 kills and JackeyLove has 145 kills through their 30+ games played a piece. The difference makers in this matchup will be in the solo laners. Knight (TES) has found his stride as champions like Viktor, Vex, and Ryze are powerful right now and give him the ability to influence the sidelane. You also need to watch out for Wayward in the top lane for TES. He is averaging 3 kills and 4 assists per game which is nuts for a top laner.

Favorite Picks: JackeyLove (TES: $12,000/$8,000), Knight (TES: $11,700/$7,800), Wayward (TES: $6,400), TOP Esports ($5,200)

Value Picks: Betty (AL: $11,100/), Cuzz (AL: $6,800), Quiqui (AL: $4,600)

Cann’s Match Pick: TOP Esports (2-0)
