Imperial (World rank: #17) vs. ORDER (World rank: #48) – 6:30 A.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: Imperial (-365) | ORDER (+280)
Map Handicap: Imperial -1.5 (-105) | ORDER +1.5 (-115)

This is a best-of-three on LAN for the lower bracket round one of the IEM Cologne 2022 Play-In
Imperial - Rating at event: FalleN 0.91 | fer 0.79 | VINI 0.76 | fnx 0.67 | boltz 0.62
Imperial - Rating past three months: fer 1.13 | boltz 1.11 | FalleN 1.04 | VINI 1.02 | fnx 0.88
ORDER - Rating at event: Sico 1.02 | Liazz 1.01 | Hatz 0.97 | aliStair 0.89 | INS 0.77
ORDER - Rating past three months: INS 1.11 | Liazz 1.07 | aliStair 1.05 | Sico 1.00 | Hatz 0.99

H2H Data:
These rosters have never faced each other.

Prediction/Narrative: Imperial wins 2-1.
These teams have both been doing a lot of losing lately, so I'm not sure how you could be all that confident in either one. Imperial have lost seven straight series, but they've faced a gauntlet of difficult opponents. Imperial have proven in the past that they can hang with the competition outside of their region, taking down teams such as Cloud9, Liquid, Bad News Eagles, and forZe in the past three months. As for ORDER, they have never gotten a significant win outside of the Oceanic region with this roster, and I doubt they will start here on LAN against a veteran team. ORDER's map pool looks decent on paper considering many of their matches came against weak Oceanic opponents, but I give Imperial the edge to win here in three maps, if not two.
- VINI led Imperial on Tuesday with 0.14 opening kills per round against Outsiders.

MIBR (World rank: #20) vs. TYLOO (World rank: #55) – 6:30 A.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: MIBR (-205) | TYLOO (+165)
Map Handicap: MIBR -1.5 (+150) | TYLOO +1.5 (-185)

This is a best-of-three on LAN for the lower bracket round one of the IEM Cologne 2022 Play-In
MIBR - Rating at event: chelo 1.08 | exit 1.01 | brnz4n 1.01 | Tuurtle 1.00 | JOTA 0.78
MIBR - Rating past three months: JOTA 1.13 | chelo 1.11 | brnz4n 1.02 | exit 1.01 | Tuurtle 0.98
TYLOO - Rating at event: Summer 1.09 | SLOWLY 1.00 | DANK1NG 0.99 | BnTeT 0.89 | Attacker 0.73
TYLOO - Rating past three months: DANK1NG 1.10 | BnTeT 0.98 | SLOWLY 0.96 | Summer 0.92 | Attacker 0.91

H2H Data:
These rosters faced last month at ESL Pro League S16 Conference and MIBR swept 2-0 (16-12 Mirage / 22-20 Dust2). Brnz4n led the server with 64 kills and a 1.38 Rating across two maps.

Prediction/Narrative: TYLOO wins 2-1.
These teams played just a few weeks ago, and it was a tight series despite only going two maps. TYLOO started off their map pick of Mirage with a pistol round win, but they failed to convert the following round and only ended up managing five T side rounds total, which led to a 12-16 loss. TYLOO got off to another slow start on Dust2, but managed to battle back from a 3-11 deficit before finally falling in double overtime. Ultimately, TYLOO showed that they can compete with MIBR, and I think they are a live underdog here based on what we saw last time. Thus, I really like TYLOO at cheap pricing on Draftkings.
- DANK1NG & Summer led TYLOO with 0.16 opening kills per round against Vitality.

Vitality (World rank: #5) vs. Sprout (World rank: #23) – 10:00 A.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: Vitality (-400) | Sprout (+305)
Map Handicap: Vitality -1.5 (-105) | Sprout +1.5 (-115)

This is a best-of-three on LAN for the lower bracket round two of the IEM Cologne 2022 Play-In. Winner qualifies for IEM Cologne 2022.
Vitality - Rating at event: ZywOo 1.08 | misutaaa 1.00 | apEX 0.92 | Magisk 0.89 | dupreeh 0.80
Vitality - Rating past three months: ZywOo 1.25 | Magisk 1.04 | dupreeh 1.03 | apEX 0.95 | misutaaa 0.93
Sprout - Rating at event: Staehr 1.22 | slaxz- 1.14 | Spiidi 1.05 | raalz 1.00 | lauNX 0.99
Sprout - Rating past three months: Staehr 1.13 | lauNX 1.12 | slaxz- 1.07 | Spiidi 1.05 | raalz 0.93

H2H Data:
These rosters have never faced each other. Sprout had not yet added lauNX to their roster when these teams met in March. Vitality won that series 2-0 (16-7 Dust2 / 22-20 Inferno) and Magisk led with a 1.46 Rating, while ZywOo led with 58 kills across two maps.

Prediction/Narrative: Vitality wins 2-1.
Sprout almost stole a map from Vitality when these teams last met, and that was prior to them adding lauNX, who has been a massive addition for them. LauNX is second on his team with a 1.12 Rating in the past three months, and the team has a 37-29 W/L record across 66 maps played with this lineup. Sprout have already beaten FURIA, 00Nation and paiN in the month of July, and I think they can at least make this a tight series against Vitality despite the lopsided odds. Still, there is a spot at IEM Cologne on the line here, and I expect Vitality to find a way to win in this best-of-three, as they are the more talented team. Vitality have at least a 60% win rate on Overpass, Dust2, and Nuke in the past month, and they should be able to win two maps against Sprout, but don't be surprised if this stays close.
- ZywOo leads Vitality with 0.15 opening kills per round across three maps played at this event.

BIG (World rank: #9) vs. Astralis (World rank: #12) – 10:00 A.M. ET
Moneyline Odds: BIG (-140) | Astralis (+115)
Map Handicap: BIG -1.5 (+205) | Astralis +1.5 (-255)

This is a best-of-three on LAN for the lower bracket round two of the IEM Cologne 2022 Play-In. Winner qualifies for IEM Cologne 2022.
BIG - Rating at event: tabseN 1.12 | syrsoN 1.02 | Krimbo 0.98 | tiziaN 0.82 | k1to 0.81
BIG - Rating past three months: syrsoN 1.15 | k1to 1.10 | tabseN 1.07 | Krimbo 1.02 | tiziaN 0.94
Astralis - Rating at event: blameF 1.30 | Xyp9x 1.06 | k0nfig 0.99 | Farlig 0.88 | gla1ve 0.83
Astralis - Rating past three months: blameF 1.28 | k0nfig 1.05 | Farlig 1.02 | Xyp9x 0.98 | gla1ve 0.93

H2H Data:
These rosters have never faced each other since Krimbo tested positive for COVID and k1to stood in for him when these teams last met in June. Astralis won that series 2-0 (16-13 Dust2 / 16-7 Ancient) and blameF topped the leaderboards with 46 kills and a 1.44 Rating across two maps played.

Prediction/Narrative: BIG wins 2-0.
K1to continues to stand in for faveN, but that has not been an issue for BIG. The Germans have a 12-9 W/L record across 21 maps played with this lineup, and they have taken down teams such as FaZe & Cloud9. Astralis have a 32-27 W/L record across 59 maps played in the past three months and have looked decent times, but k0nfig was supposed to be a star rifler alongside blameF, yet only blameF has performed well consistently. I just don't feel as though I can trust anyone in this Astralis lineup outside of blameF. Astralis won on Dust2 when these teams last met, but I doubt that happens again. Dust2 has historically been BIG's best map, and they beat FaZe & Cloud9 on it with this lineup just last week. From there, the map pool is fairly even, but I just don't see a map that Astralis can confidently win on in this spot. I think BIG should be the clear favorite here, and I think a sweep is certainly a possibility given the inconsistent performances we've seen from Astralis.
- tabseN leads BIG with 0.14 opening kills per round across three maps played at this event.
