CFB DFS Quarterbacks – Week 6 Friday
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Doug Brumfield | UNLV | SJSU | 7800 | 26.22 | 10200 | 25.02 |
| Though UNLV is an underdog on the road here, Brumfield can still be a strong DFS option with his dual-threat ability. He’s scored five rushing TDs over the past three games and had 100 rushing yards and 41 DK in one of those. The passing isn’t too exciting, but Brumfield can make up for it with his legs. He’s your top GPP QB on this slate with boom-or-bust potential if he isn’t doing much on the ground. | ||||||
| Seth Henigan | MEM | UH | 7200 | 23.79 | 9600 | 22.59 |
| The Houston-Memphis game has the highest total on the slate and the small spread means we can target both sides for DFS. As for Henigan, he’ll be facing a terrible Houston pass defense that ranks 114th nationally in pass yards allowed per game and has been torched by almost every opponent. We could see Henigan have a performance like his 360 yards and three TDs back in Week 3 or the 415/2 in Week 2. It’s either Henigan or Tune as your top cash QB, but the Memphis gunslinger gets the slight nod. | ||||||
| Chevan Cordeiro | SJSU | UNLV | 7000 | 24.18 | 10000 | 23.31 |
| Cordeiro isn’t the best passer, but he also can make up for it with his rushing. He’s run for two scores in two of four games thus far, including last week when he put up 33 DK. This matchup vs. UNLV isn’t a tough one and Cordeiro can provide 20-25 DFS points as a solid cash option. His DK price is very affordable compared to other QBs on the slate. | ||||||
| Nate Cox | NEV | CSU | 6000 | 11.62 | 7100 | 7.18 |
| Cox got the start at QB for Nevada last week in place of Shane Illingworth, who’s struggled a ton this season. We should see Cox start moving forward and he makes for a cheap Super-Flex on this slate for cash or GPP. The Colorado State defense is terrible this year and just gave up 41 points to FCS-level Sacramento State. We could realistically see another 20-30 DFS performance from Cox like he did in Week 2 as the starter. | ||||||
Other QBs to Consider:
- Clayton Tune – Houston (Cash)
- Casey Thompson – Nebraska (GPP)
CFB DFS Running Backs – Week 6 Friday
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Aidan Robbins | UNLV | SJSU | 7300 | 24.1 | 10000 | 22.50 |
| You know it’s a weak RB slate when Robbins is the highest-priced guy. Still, the UNLV lead back is a solid cash option here because we know he’s going to get the volume and he offers a realistic floor of 15-20 DFS points with those safe amount touches. If you’re going with a high-priced RB in cash, it’s Robbins slightly over Grant – who’s better suited for GPPs in a tougher matchup and lower-total game. | ||||||
| Toa Taua | NEV | CSU | 6400 | 20.12 | 8600 | 14.50 |
| The Nevada backfield is split between Taua and Devonte Lee, and both are good plays on this slate against a poor Colorado State defense. If Nevada is ahead and leaning on the run game, then Taua benefits more. He had over 100 rushing yards and 20+ total touches in each of the first two games and we should see a similar stat line here. He’s a solid cash option on this slate without many trustworthy RBs. | ||||||
| Brandon Campbell | UH | MEM | 6400 | 15.1 | 8200 | 13.73 |
| With Ta’Zhawn Henry out, we should see Campbell get plenty of work as Houston’s clear top back this week. He had 19 carries for 66 yards and a TD last week with Henry exiting early. The floor of carries will ideally be there, but Memphis’ rush defense has been solid this season. Still, Campbell has GPP upside in a higher-total matchup where he could easily find the end zone multiple times with 100 total yards or so. | ||||||
| Kairee Robinson | SJSU | UNLV | 5500 | 16 | 8400 | 14.38 |
| Robinson is the lead RB for the biggest favorite on the slate, yet he’s pretty affordable especially on DK. He’s coming off a 20-carry, 100-yard performance last game and has 20 DK points in each of the past two weeks. Expect Robinson to be popular in DK cash lineups in the 5k range without many good values at RB on Friday. | ||||||
| Samuel Brown V | RU | NEB | 3000 | 9.18 | 6500 | 5.53 |
| The true freshman’s role in Rutgers' offense is growing by the week while Aaron Young sits out. Brown led Rutgers in rushing for the third straight game last week against Ohio State when he had 79 yards on 15 carries. Now he gets a favorable matchup against a bad Nebraska rush defense that’s actually the worst on this slate and 120th nationally in rushing yards allowed per game (200.2). Brown is worth a look in both cash and GPP at these cheap prices and the minimum on DK. | ||||||
Other RBs to Consider:
- Anthony Grant – Nebraska (GPP)
- Brandon Thomas – Memphis (GPP)
- Devonte Lee – Nevada (Cash)
CFB DFS Wide Receivers – Week 6 Friday
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Nathaniel Dell | UH | MEM | 7900 | 23.38 | 9400 | 18.88 |
| Dell continues to be a true DFS stud and arguably the top overall play on this slate. He has at least 22 DK in four of five games as a PPR machine and clear favorite target for Clayton Tune. The Memphis pass defense is the worst on this slate with 288 yards allowed per game (123rd in FBS). Expect Dell to be popular in cash and fading him is very risky on this small slate. | ||||||
| Trey Palmer | NEB | RU | 6900 | 19.76 | 8800 | 15.36 |
| Even in a lower-scoring matchup here, Palmer is still a solid play because of his high volume of receptions and playmaking role in the Nebraska offense. He has a realistic floor of 12-15 DFS points with the upside to smash when he breaks off a long gain or finds the end zone. Palmer will be less popular than Dell as a high-end WR, especially on DK with the elevated salary. He’s a nice contrarian pivot from Dell. | ||||||
| Tory Horton | CSU | NEV | 6200 | 25.42 | 9800 | 21.33 |
| There aren’t many Colorado State players worth rostering on this slate. Horton, though, may find himself with a ton of targets in a WR corps that’s lost Ty McCullough, Melquan Stovall, and Dante Wright to the transfer portal already. He’s been a favorite target in the CSU passing game with some big performances, but it’s tough to pay up for him when Dell or Palmer are sitting there in a similar price range. | ||||||
| Elijah Cooks | SJSU | UNLV | 5200 | 17.36 | 8500 | 13.36 |
| Cooks just went off against Wyoming last week with eight catches for 177 yards and 28 DK points. Though San Jose State has a talented receiving corps with Lockhart and Ross being solid options as well, Cooks is the best among them after transferring over from Nevada. The sixth-year senior has battled injuries over the last two years, but he was a stud in 2019 and it looks like he’s about to replicate that season now as Chevan Cordeiro’s top target so far. He's too cheap on DK and will be chalky in cash. | ||||||
| Aron Cruickshank | RU | NEB | 4800 | 11.63 | 7200 | 8.44 |
| Nebraska’s pass defense is very shaky and there’s a chance the Rutgers offense has decent success through the air in this matchup – though it is still the Rutgers offense. Cruickshank is pretty affordable as the team’s top receiver who’s gone for double-digit DFS points in three of five games this season. He’s a better value option in cash or GPP lineups among other pass-catchers in the mid-tier price range. | ||||||
| Caden Prieskorn | MEM | UH | 4100 | 13.16 | 6500 | 11.36 |
| The tight end has caught a TD with at least 12 DK in four of five games this year, yet somehow he’s still a bargain on both sites. Unfortunately, the Memphis passing game spreads the ball around too much to trust one receiver on this slate. Prieskorn, though, is a cheap way to get exposure to this high-total game and will provide a decent floor with his receptions anyway. | ||||||
| Justus Ross-Simmons | CSU | NEV | 3000 | 8.85 | 5500 | 9.50 |
| If you want a dirt cheap receiver to round out your lineup, Ross-Simmons is an interesting punt. The Colorado State WR corps has lost Stovall, McCullough, and Wright to the transfer portal so someone has to catch passes. Ross-Simmons has seven receptions over the past two games combined and might be one of the team’s top pass-catchers this week by default. | ||||||
Other WRs to Consider:
- Ricky White – UNLV (GPP)
- Justin Lockhart – San Jose State (GPP)
- Matthew Golden – Houston (Cash/GPP)
- Charles Ross – San Jose State (Cash)
- Senika McKie – UNLV (Cash/GPP)
