CFB DFS Week 11 MAC Tuesday Top Plays

Kurtis Rourke – Ohio QB ($8.2K DK/$10.6K FD)

If it can win its next four games, Ohio can be MAC champs for the first time since 1968. The key to their success is the passing game, which is already breaking program records. Rourke has already given them three of the program's top ten passing yards in a single game and his five TDs last week against Buffalo tied the program record for most in a single game. He is close to breaking the all-time single season passing yards (578 yards away) and is only 96 yards away from his more-famous brother Nathan, who is now a star in the CFL. Another big game should be on the horizon tonight against Miami (OH).

Carson Steele – Ball State RB ($7.5K DK/$9.8K FD)

The Ball State offense flows through Carson Steele. Thor, a sophomore, is the MAC leader in rushing yards (1,082) and yardage per game (120.2) plus he has now put up four consecutive 100-yard games.  Last week he has his best yards-after-contact game of the year at close to five yards and now gets to face a Toledo rush defense that is allowing 158.1 rushing yards per contest. Steele is a core play tonight.

Samson Evans – Eastern Michigan ($7.1K DK/$9.5K FD)

Evans is having one heck of a season and has become one of the most consistent runners in the nation. After seven games he ranks 29th in the country with 722 rushing yards and is fourth in the MAC and 31st in the nation with a 90.2 rushing yards per game average. Evans also has a 100.6 all-purpose yard average (7th in the MAC) and is coming off a big three touchdown game against Toledo last week. Tonight, he gets a treat as he will be facing an Akron rush defense that is allowing 186.4 ground yards per game- Evans will be licking his chops and he will be in my main lineup right next to Carson Steele

Sam Wiglusz – Ohio ($6.8K DK/$9.7K FD)

The former Ohio State wideout transferred to Ohio to get more of an opportunity and has now become one of the most productive receivers in the country. Wiglusz ranks fourth in the nation in touchdowns (nine), 11th in receptions (56) and 22nd in yards (716). He has seven touchdowns over the last five games and has gone over the 100-yard mark in four of them. After another big game last week where he had six catches for 131 yards and two touchdowns against Buffalo Wiglusz continues to be Rourke’s “go-to” receiver and that should all continue tonight against Miami (OH).

CFB DFS Value Plays MAC Tuesday

Tucker Gleason – Toledo QB ($6.6K DK/$10.0K FD)

If starting QB Dequan Finn misses his second straight game for the #1 offense in the MAC redshirt freshman Gleason may be in line for another start.  He turned in a solid performance against Eastern Michigan last week by completing 15 of 27 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns and at $6.6K on DraftKings becomes an interesting value at Super Flex. Toledo is averaging almost 80 plays a game and have the second highest implied total of the slate (31.00 points). On DraftKings, I will be building my lineups around Rourke and the Toledo QB- whether it be Finn or the value Gleason. On FanDuel DJ Irons is surprisingly cheaper than Gleason and will be the play over there.

Shocky Jacques-Louis – Akron WR ($3.9K DK/$7.8K FD)

We have DK mispricing with the two Akron receivers. Senior receiver Jacques-Louis has been smashing and is one of those wide outs that has a knack for getting open. He leads the MAC with 61 catches and 770 receiving yards. The 61 catches are fifth best in the FBS and he is 12th with 6.8 receptions per game and the 770 receiving yards are 14th best. He just continues to see plenty of volume in this offense with 35 catches in his last four games for a 26+ DraftKings fantasy point average in that span. Take the free square and run with it tonight.

Alex Adams – Akron WR ($3.0K DK/$8.5K FD)

The second DraftKings mis-price is the sophomore, Alex Adams. He is just as explosive as Jacques-Louis and is second on the team with 585 receiving yards and a team-high five touchdowns. He has 19 catches in his last two games to go along with two touchdowns and an average of 34.2 DraftKings fantasy points in that span. With Jacques-Louis and Adams in your lineup you can fit in the two stud running backs and Roarke. Now, that’s a pretty nice start to a build.

Other DFS CFB Top Plays:

  • DJ Irons – Akron QB ($7.1K DK/$9.5K FD) – High usage running QB and 300 passing yards in 3 of last 4 games- FD Super Flex QB
  • Austin Smith – Miami (OH) QB ($6.0K DK/$8.0K FD) If Smith gets the start, he is an interesting GPP value as running QB
  • Sieh Bangura – Ohio RB ($7.0K DK/$8.8K FD) Check status – missed last week’s game
  • Jacquez Stewart – Toledo RB ($4.1K DK/$7.5K FD) Teammate Peny Boone also in play but Stewart gets more touches- both too cheap
  • Clyde Price – Akron RB ($3.0K DK$6.7K FD)
  • Jayshon Jackson – Ball State WR ($6.5K DK/$8.2K FD) 54 catches for 633 yards and 2 TDs - my 2nd fav WR of the slate
  • Mac Hippenhammer – Miami (OH) WR ($5.6K DK/$6.7K FD) As long as Gabbert is QB then Hippenhammer is in play
  • Hassan Beydoun – Eastern Michigan WR ($5.9K/$6.4K FD) Top FD value receiver
  • Yo’Henz Tyler – Ball State WR ($5.4K DK/$6.1K FD)
  • Devin Maddox – Toledo WR ($4.9K DK/$5.8K FD) Toledo FD receiver
  • DeMeer Blankumsee – Toledo WR ($4.5K DK/$6.5K FD) 13 catches for 218 yards and a TD over last two games; Toledo DK receiver
