College Football CFB DFS Picks – Friday 12/20 Bowl Games
CFB DFS Quarterbacks
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Chevan Cordeiro | SJSU | EMU | 7000 | 25.16 | 11200 | 23.94 |
| Considering the lack of QB options on this slate, Cordeiro (and Finn) will be popular in cash. Cordeiro has provided a pretty consistent floor of 20 DFS points or so in most games this season with the San Jose State offense centered around his skillset. He brings some dual-threat ability to the table with eight rushing TDs and a solid 20:4 TD:INT ratio across 11 contests. | ||||||
| Dequan Finn | TOL | LIB | 6700 | 24.72 | 10800 | 24.00 |
| Finn returned from injury for the MAC title game and looked pretty healthy, running for 86 yards with a 64% completion rate while putting up 18 DK. The dual-threat upside is what we love with Finn, who racked up 608 rushing yards and eight rush TDs this season. At full health, Finn is the top QB on this slate with a 20-25 DFS point floor and 40+ upside. He should be even more healthy after some added rest from the last game. | ||||||
| Taylor Powell | EMU | SJSU | 6400 | 16.42 | 9400 | 15.66 |
| Eastern Michigan bounced between two different QBs this season, but Powell is the one who finished the season as the starter. He was strong in the final two games with a combined 6:0 TD:INT ratio, 29 DK in both, and efficient passing numbers. You may want confirmation that he’s starting before kickoff, but Powell is a contrarian GPP pivot away from Finn and Cordeiro. | ||||||
CFB DFS Running Backs
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Samson Evans | EMU | SJSU | 7100 | 20.44 | 9800 | 18.71 |
| Evans is the only RB on this slate who’s been locked into consistent workhorse rushing volume almost every week. The EMU lead back ran for 1,084 yards with 13 rush TDs over 11 games this season. He finished the season strong with at least 25 touches in four straight contests and 25+ DK in three of those. San Jose State presents a tough matchup on the ground, but Evans should get the volume and he’ll be popular in cash either way. | ||||||
| Kairee Robinson | SJSU | EMU | 6700 | 15.57 | 8700 | 13.98 |
| Outside of Evans, we have Robinson as the clear next-safest RB to roster in cash lineups. He’s also one of only a few guys locked into consistent touches as San Jose State’s lead back. Robinson usually gets double-digit carries but only saw 20+ touches twice in a game this season with Cordeiro also running a bunch. Still, Robinson put up 148 yards and a TD on 24 carries in the regular-season finale and he had 20+ DK in five of the last nine games. EMU had a below-average rush defense this year and Robinson will be tough to fade in cash. | ||||||
| Micah Kelly | TOL | LIB | 4000 | 5.7 | 6300 | 5.54 |
| If you’re looking for a third RB outside of Evans and Robinson, it gets a bit dicey on this slate. For GPP, you can go to either Louis or Green in the split Liberty backfield. Toledo has a committee too, but Kelly is very cheap for possible similar or better production to the Liberty guys. Kelly has seen 18+ touches in three straight games played (he missed Week 13), including 17 carries in the MAC championship. It hasn’t resulted in a ton of yards, but Kelly is getting the volume over Jacquez Stuart, Peny Boone, and others in the Toledo backfield. | ||||||
CFB DFS Wide Receivers
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Elijah Cooks | SJSU | EMU | 7800 | 21.73 | 10000 | 17.51 |
| Cooks is pricey but he’s the clear top WR on this slate while seeing the lion’s share of targets and production in the San Jose State passing attack. He ended the season on a very high note with 17 receptions, 246 yards, and five TDs over the past two games combined. His DFS ceiling is the highest on this slate and it’ll be tough to fade him in cash. | ||||||
| Demario Douglas | LIB | TOL | 6500 | 19.68 | 8800 | 15.95 |
| Despite Liberty’s rotating QB spot right now, Douglas has remained as the clear top receiver in the offense no matter who’s under center. He had at least seven receptions and 15 DK in six straight games to end the season. The DFS cash floor is pretty safe considering how many targets and touches he’s getting, despite this tough matchup on paper vs. Toledo. | ||||||
| Jerjuan Newton | TOL | LIB | 6000 | 15.48 | 8400 | 12.85 |
| Newton came through for those that played him in the MAC title game when he went for six receptions and 77 yards. He’s been a favorite target for Dequan Finn all season and should be busy in this bowl game. The matchup vs. Liberty’s strong pass defense is tough, but Newton still has a solid cash floor with a GPP ceiling of 20+ if he gets into the end zone once or twice. | ||||||
| Dylan Drummond | EMU | SJSU | 5800 | 10.21 | 7100 | 8.44 |
| All three of the top EMU receivers are in play on this slate, but Drummond is cheaper than both Tanner Knue and Hassan Beydoun for possible similar or better DFS production. Drummond finished the year strong with 16+ DK in three straight games. He looked to have a rapport with QB Taylor Powell, if that’s who’s starting again for Eastern Michigan. The slight discount for Drummond is nice on DK compared to Knue and Beydoun. | ||||||
| Justin Lockhart | SJSU | EMU | 4600 | 9.36 | 6200 | 7.36 |
| San Jose State doesn’t have many trustworthy receiving options, but Lockhart is cheap enough to consider as the team’s WR2. If Cooks isn’t catching passes from Cordeiro, it’s usually Lockhart getting the targets. Though it isn’t all that often, he does have double-digit DK points and six receptions in two of the last five contests. He's a decent salary-saver in GPP. | ||||||
| Caleb Snead | LIB | TOL | 3200 | 5.17 | 5300 | 3.89 |
| There aren’t many really cheap options on this slate to save salary and fit in all the studs. If you want a dart throw, though, Snead is an option as a starting WR for Liberty. He just had six catches for 45 yards in the last game of the season and is usually the second target in the receiving corps behind Douglas. | ||||||
