Sam HartmanWAKEMIZZ840027.84
We haven’t heard otherwise, so it appears Hartman will play in this bowl despite plenty of transfer portal speculation. He’s a top QB on this two-game slate after tossing 3,421 yards and 35 TDs over 11 games this season. Hartman consistently put up 300+ yards, 30+ DFS points, and multiple TDs on a weekly basis and should be motivated to end his Wake career on a high note.
Nathaniel DellUHULL770029.52
Tank Dell announced he’s entering the NFL Draft but will still be playing in this bowl game. On the one hand, he’s an elite play any time he’s on the field and should be a priority in cash lineups for this slate. However, it’s definitely risky because we have no idea how much he’ll play. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him play a few drives and then sit the rest of the way. It also shouldn’t shock us if he goes off for 30-40 DK like he’s done almost all season.
A.T. PerryWAKEMIZZ700020.5
Despite some NFL Draft buzz, Perry is expected to play in this bowl game and that alone makes him a top WR play. He and Sam Hartman have combined for big numbers all year and the duo could be looking to go out with a bang this week. There’s enough value to get both Perry and Dell in the same lineup as both should be popular plays in all formats. Perry ended the season strong with scores in four straight games.
Brady CookMIZZWAKE650019.72
The Mizzou-Wake matchup is setting up to be an offensive shootout and Cook is a great play opposite of Hartman if you want to game stack. The Wake Forest pass defense was 117th in FBS in passing yards allowed per game this season and should allow Cook to have plenty of success through the air. Plus, Cook brings some dual-threat upside to the table after he ran for 547 yards and six rush TDs this year including 100+ in two of the past three games. Wake’s defense had issues with dual-threat QBs this season and Cook can exploit the matchup.

Also Consider:

  • Clayton Tune – Houston QB
  • Chris Smith – Louisiana RB
  • Michael Jefferson – Louisiana WR

Chandler FieldsULLUH600013.09
Fields is starting for Louisiana now with Ben Wooldridge out. The Louisiana QB had 17 DK in both of his two games at the end of the season while filling in for Wooldridge. Now he faces a terrible Houston pass defense that allowed 285.7 passing yards per game this season (126th in FBS) and 31 pass TDs over 12 games. It’s a matchup we’ve targeted all year and can do it again with Fields as a Super-Flex play.
Matthew GoldenUHULL530014.07
Golden has been a really solid WR2 behind Tank Dell all season and he’ll be a top target for Clayton Tune again in this bowl game. The freshman should be motivated to put on a show and he could see more targets without Sam Brown, who’s suspended for this game. Golden ended the year strong with scores in four straight games.
Justice EllisonWAKEMIZZ51008.99
The Wake backfield was a committee this season, but Ellison should see the majority of touches in this bowl by default. Christian Turner and Quinton Cooley are both transferring away, so it’s left to Ellison possibly stepping into a workhorse role. The volume alone should keep his DFS cash floor pretty high, especially against a Missouri defense that lost two D-line starters to opt outs.
Luther Burden IIIMIZZWAKE470011.08
The talented freshman committed to returning to Mizzou next season instead of transferring away, so he should be motivated to play in this bowl game. Burden only had 325 receiving yards this year, but he scored eight total TDs as a top weapon in the offense. He should see additional targets too with Dominic Lovett in the transfer portal. Burden is a top pairing option with Brady Cook to get the best exposure to Missouri’s attack.
KeSean CarterUHULL350010.61
As mentioned above, Sam Brown is suspended for this bowl. That means Carter will step into a bigger target share in the Houston offense. Carter had a couple of big games earlier this season when Tune looked his way more often and he can easily smash value on this slate.
Barrett BanisterMIZZWAKE33007.58
Banister missed the last game of the regular season but he’s back healthy for this bowl game. The Mizzou WR will be stepping into a bigger role out of the slot with Dominic Lovett in the transfer portal. Banister became more active in the offense as a top target for Brady Cook in the final month of the season, including seven receptions in both Week 11 and 12. He’s really cheap for a decent cash floor and the increased opportunities will be there with Lovett gone.

Also Consider:

  • Cody Schrader – Missouri RB
  • Brandon Campbell – Houston RB
  • Taylor Morin – Wake Forest WR
