College Football Week 10 CFB DFS Picks – Saturday Early Slate
CFB DFS Quarterbacks Week 10
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Bo Nix | ORE | COL | 9600 | 35.97 | ||
| Nix continues to be a top DFS QB on a weekly basis after putting up 53 DK and six total TDs last week. Now Oregon gets a very easy matchup against Colorado’s terrible defense that’s giving up 332 passing yards per game during conference play (125th in FBS) and three pass TDs per game to Pac-12 teams. There’s the blowout factor here and Nix has gotten very expensive, but he’s still tough to fade at this point in all formats. The rushing TDs on the ground give him that higher floor/ceiling combo than usual. | ||||||
| Max Duggan | TCU | TTU | 8500 | 30.14 | 11000 | 27.17 |
| The TCU offense is on a roll and it makes Duggan a great play in cash yet again. We’re looking at the Horned Frogs being favored by single-digits at home with a game total close to 70 points. Duggan will have plenty of possessions to rack up DFS points. He now has a 14:2 TD:INT ratio over five Big 12 matchups and consistently puts up 25-35 DK (or more) with a safe volume of passing and rushing. TTU pass defense is above average, but Duggan should still anchor your cash lineups. | ||||||
| Drake Maye | UNC | UV | 8200 | 37.22 | 11800 | 34.47 |
| Maye’s DFS floor is so high with how much volume he’s responsible for in the UNC offense, which is built around his dynamic skillset. He has at least 300 passing yards and 50-75 rushing yards in four straight games. That gives him a safe cash floor before we factor in any TDs he’s throwing or running in. The UVA defense is better against the pass than the run, but it may not matter against the high-scoring UNC attack. You can’t go wrong with Maye in cash lineups. | ||||||
| Hendon Hooker | TENN | UGA | 8000 | 30.79 | 10100 | 29.50 |
| Hooker is now a Heisman favorite and now he gets to prove it against the big, bad Georgia defense. People will surely avoid him because of the matchup, but he’s worth a contrarian shot in GPPs. Hooker has proven upside of 40+ DFS points at his best and the rushing ability may come into play more often this week if he has to scramble or make plays with his legs when being blitzed or receivers aren’t open. The Georgia defense is good, but Hooker and Tennessee’s offense has passed plenty of tests already. | ||||||
| Jalon Daniels | KU | OKST | 7400 | 25.73 | 10000 | 24.56 |
| Daniels could be back this week after warming up last week but not playing. If he’s out there, this is a fantastic matchup against a poor Oklahoma State defense. The Cowboys are allowing over 300 passing yards and multiple pass TDs per game this season as the defense is getting destroyed nearly every week. If Daniels doesn’t play, then Jason Bean is a good pivot as he’s put up 28, 28, and 21 DK in his three games with Daniels out. | ||||||
| Brennan Armstrong | UV | UNC | 7100 | 18.67 | 8600 | 15.14 |
| Though Armstrong isn’t putting up the same numbers he was last year, the talent is still there and he’s in a good game script and matchup here. Virginia will likely play most of this one from behind and will have to throw it more to keep up with UNC’s high-powered offense. Meanwhile, the Tar Heels’ pass defense is shaky with 283.3 passing yards allowed this season. With a game total around 60, there’s upside here for Armstrong to smash value. | ||||||
| Seth Henigan | MEM | UCF | 6400 | 24.56 | 9700 | 23.31 |
| During conference play, UCF’s defense is giving up over 300 passing yards per game. That immediately puts Seth Henigan in play in this higher-scoring game. Limit exposure to GPPs because he has been prone to some duds this season. Still, the Memphis QB has the upside here in a favorable matchup where Memphis will likely have to throw and continue scoring to keep up with UCF. Henigan has 31 and 29 DK in the last two games and can certainly do that here. | ||||||
| Conner Weigman | TA&M | UF | 5400 | 18.38 | 8300 | 16.88 |
| Weigman impressed in his first start last week, going 28-for-44 with 338 passing yards and four TDs for 33 DK points. Based on that performance, the five-star freshman should get the starting nod again for Texas A&M, even if Haynes King is healthy. He’s worth a shot in cash or GPP at a cheap price and in a good matchup. The Florida defense is allowing 287.2 passing yards per game in conference play. | ||||||
CFB DFS Running Backs Week 10
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Israel Abanikanda | PITT | SYR | 7700 | 30.69 | 10000 | 25.56 |
| Abanikanda is seeing heavy workloads with some monster yardage performances lately and he’s rightfully the highest-priced RB on the main DK slate. Pitt’s offense is leaning on the ground game with Abanikanda as the focal point and that should continue against a Syracuse defense that’s beatable on the ground. The Orange defense is allowing 168.5 rushing yards per game during conference play (91st in FBS) and 4.27 yards per carry. With how much volume he’ll get, Abanikanda is firmly in play for cash or GPP. | ||||||
| Mohamed Ibrahim | MINN | NEB | 7300 | 29.11 | ||
| It’s always hard to fade Ibrahim in cash, but especially this week in a great matchup against a bad Nebraska rush defense. The Huskers are giving up 190.9 rushing yards per game this season (114th in FBS) and 4.75 yards per carry. The matchup is nice, but Ibrahim has proven he’s basically matchup-proof anyway. The Minnesota bell-cow should give you 100+ yards and 20+ DK points per usual as a cash anchor. | ||||||
| TreVeyon Henderson | OSU | NW | 6400 | 14.27 | ||
| Miyan Williams is banged up but expected to play, according to head coach Ryan Day. Still, who knows how much he actually plays. With OSU as massive favorites over Northwestern, you’d have to think Williams wouldn’t see the field much – if at all. So, if you want to bank on that, then Henderson would theoretically be the lead back in a glorious matchup here. Northwestern is giving up 191.6 rushing yards per game during conference play and 4.52 ypc. It may be tough to trust Henderson in cash unless we get official word that Williams is out, but he’s worth a shot in GPPs and could pay off big time at an affordable price. | ||||||
| Kendre Miller | TCU | OKST | 6300 | 22.81 | 9700 | 21.26 |
| Miller continues to post great numbers in TCU’s high-scoring offense with 120 rushing yards and 21 DK last week. It’s a weekly occurrence for one of the most explosive RBs in the country, and now gets a great matchup. The Texas Tech rush defense is allowing 187 rushing yards per game during conference play (107th in FBS) and 12 rush TDs over five Big 12 matchups. He’s still priced a little lower than his recent performances suggest – so take advantage in all formats. | ||||||
| Tyjae Spears | TUL | TLSA | 6100 | 20.51 | ||
| Spears came through for us last week on the main slate with 23 DK on 125 rushing yards against Memphis. We get Tulane back on the DK main again and Spears is in a great matchup here. Tulsa is giving up 223.8 rushing yards per game in conference play (123rd in FBS). Spears should give us 100+ rushing yards and 25-30 DK points as a great, affordable play in all formats. | ||||||
| Richard Reese | BAY | OU | 6000 | 22.39 | ||
| Also a DK-only play, Reeese gets a great matchup against a bad Oklahoma rush defense and should be popular in cash lineups. OU is allowing 232.6 yards per game on the ground during conference play (124th in FBS) and 14 rush TDs over five Big 12 matchups. Opposing RBs are having good games against the Sooners on a weekly basis and we have no reason to believe Reese won’t do the same. He’s racked up 372 total yards and five TDs over the past two games combined, including at least 38 DK and 30+ touches in both. Baylor is happy to give him a heavy workload right now and that shouldn’t change in this favorable spot. | ||||||
| Devon Achane | TA&M | UF | 5500 | 22.38 | 9300 | 20.13 |
| Achane is way underpriced on DK and is close to a cash lock. He’s been heavily involved in the A&M offense ever since Ainias Smith went out for the year, and it’s resulting in a high DFS floor. He’s put up 20 DK or more in six of the last seven games and has 130+ total yards in four of the last five. Now Achane gets to face a subpar Florida defense that’s giving up 191.8 rushing yards per game with 13 rush TDs allowed over five SEC matchups. It’s hard to fade in DK cash, but he’s still a strong FD option because of the heavy workload and overall production. | ||||||
| Nicholas Singleton | PSU | IU | 5000 | 14.64 | 7400 | 13.26 |
| There’s plenty of GPP upside here for Singleton against a weak Indiana rush defense. Even though the elite talent is clearly there for the freshman, Penn State doesn’t usually give him a workhorse workload. That limits his floor for cash because Kaytron Allen is still plenty involved, and Keyvonne Lee may be back this week. Allen, by the way, is worth a look in GPPs too. As for Singleton, he can potentially go for 100+ yards and 20 DFS points against an IU defense that’s giving up 172 rushing yards per game in conference play. | ||||||
| RJ Harvey | UCF | MEM | 4800 | 12.87 | 5800 | 11.95 |
| We suggested Harvey last week as a value and he came through big time with 23 DK, 109 total yards, and two TDs with a season-high 18 carries. That’s a big uptick in workload and he’s now started to outproduce Isaiah Bowser in the UCF backfield. Harvey brings a better overall skillset to the table than Bowser and the coaching staff is getting more involved every week. He’s still very cheap on both sites for the potential of 20+ DFS points like last week. | ||||||
| Mike Hollins | UV | UNC | 4300 | 5.27 | 5300 | 4.17 |
| Hollins has done very little this season in a backup role to Perris Jones, but the opportunity is now there with Jones out this week. Xavier Brown is worth a GPP dart because he’ll be more involved now too. As for Hollins, he only saw three touches last week but one of those was a 64-yard reception. If Virginia gives him 10+ touches this time, we could be looking at a steal on both sites for the potential 5x value. The UNC defense is allowing 179 rushing yards per game and 4.7 ypc this season. | ||||||
CFB DFS Wide Receivers Week 10
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Josh Downs | UNC | UV | 7800 | 25.28 | 9500 | 19.78 |
| Downs is as consistent as it gets in terms of DFS floors at the WR position in cash lineups. He has at least 18 DK in every contest thus far while averaging eight receptions, 88 yards, and a TD per game. Downs is the clear top target for Drake Maye in the high-scoring UNC offense and that won’t change this week. This matchup vs. Virginia is tough on paper, but Downs is still worth paying up for in cash. | ||||||
| Marvin Harrison Jr. | OSU | NW | 7500 | 24.96 | ||
| Harrison Jr. balled out last week with season-high’s in receptions (10) and yards (185) for a 31 DK performance despite not getting into the end zone. It’s Harrison and Egbuka as the clear top two targets for C.J. Stroud with Jaxon Smith-Njigba still dealing with a hamstring injury and inconsistency from the rest of the WR corps. Northwestern’s pass defense is better than the run D, but it still won’t stop Stroud from finding Harrison Jr. and Egbuka plenty. Both are upside options in GPP, but might be tough to play in cash with the blowout factor here. | ||||||
| Jalin Hyatt | TENN | UGA | 7100 | 28.96 | 8800 | 23.47 |
| Like Hooker, people may avoid rostering Hyatt in cash or GPP this week because of the tough matchup against Georgia. However, the dude is a TD waiting-to-happen on any reception and he’s now scored 11 times in just the last four games combined. Hyatt has proven multiple times he can break the slate and, who knows, it could happen here against Georgia in a high-total matchup. | ||||||
| Brock Bowers | UGA | TENN | 6700 | 16.99 | 8100 | 14.30 |
| It’s not usually smart to pay up for Bowers, outside of GPPs, but this week is a bit different. Georgia will likely have to throw more often to keep up with Tennessee, especially if trailing in the second half at all. This means Bowers will be a bigger part of the gameplan than usual when UGA is leaning on the run and not throwing much. We’ve seen Bowers have the upside for 30+ DFS points at his best, which is possible against a shaky Tennessee secondary that’s allowing 326.5 passing yards per game to SEC teams. | ||||||
| Oronde Gadsden II | SYR | PITT | 6300 | 19.14 | 8400 | 16.43 |
| Gadsden has been a solid cash play all season and he’s still fairly affordable. He has at least 14 DK in five of the last six games while seeing a healthy amount of targets as Syracuse’s clear top pass-catcher. When ‘Cuse throws it, which isn’t often, the ball tends to go Gadsden’s direction. That keeps his DFS floor pretty safe, even though Syracuse’s offense is usually run-centric. Pitt’s defense is better against the run, so the Orange may need to throw it more here. | ||||||
| Kobe Hudson | UCF | MEM | 6100 | 16.82 | 6100 | 13.95 |
| Hudson makes the playbook for a second straight week because he’s still priced great and continues to put up numbers. Since missing the beginning of the season, Hudson has been involved plenty in the UCF passing game over the past three games. There’s GPP upside here against a Memphis pass defense that’s struggled at times this season. You can still roster him in cash as he’s more affordable than Ryan O’Keefe, who also has upside on this slate. | ||||||
| Xavier White | TTU | TCU | 4900 | 12.8 | 6900 | 11.13 |
| White only had two catches for 45 yards last game, but this should be a bounceback spot against a below-average TCU pass defense. The TTU receiving corps is a bit tricky to navigate now with Myles Price back in the mix. Still, White has been the team’s top receiver and a favorite target for whichever Tech QB is under center. He’s pretty affordable on both sides to get a piece of the highest total of the slate – especially with TTU likely trailing in this game. | ||||||
| Moose Muhammad III | TA&M | UF | 4700 | 16.24 | 7000 | 15.40 |
| Muhammad had eight catches for 112 yards and a TD last week with Connor Weigman under center. He’s now had at least six catches, a TD, and 18 DK in three of the last four games and now looks like a favorite target for Weigman. We should assume Weigman starts again for A&M, so that bodes well for Muhammad to be involved plenty. He’ll face a soft Florida pass defense and is very affordable on both sites for cash. | ||||||
| Stephon Johnson Jr. | OKST | KU | 3700 | 8.25 | 4400 | 5.97 |
| If Oklahoma State is without Braydon Johnson or Jaden Bray again, then Stephen Johnson Jr. can be a solid value. Even though he didn’t do much last week as a value for us, the entire OK St offense got shut down. We can try to go back to him this week in a high-total matchup with Kansas and little defense being played on either side. A key detail this week is the status of Spencer Sanders, who could be out. Gunnar Gundy targeted Johnson a bunch last game after Sanders exited early. If Sanders is unable to go, then Johnson could see a ton of targets once again from Gundy. | ||||||
| Mason Fairchild | KU | OKST | 3700 | 11.75 | 6600 | 10.00 |
| Though he only had two receptions last game, Fairchild can bounce back here against Oklahoma State’s poor pass defense. If Jason Bean is under center, then Fairchild gets a boost as he’s been a favorite target of Bean’s lately. If it’s Daniels, we should still see Fairchild involved enough to return value. It’s not too trustworthy for cash, but the upside is there for GPP like when he caught two TDs and put up 31 DK two games ago. | ||||||
