College Football PrizePicks CFB Top Picks Week 7 Saturday

Devin Neal (Kansas) – OVER 72.5 Rush Yards

Neal is currently Kansas’ clear-cut lead running back with Daniel Hishaw Jr. out with an injury. He’s now seeing the majority of carries in this backfield after previously splitting with Hishaw and it’s led to some better rushing numbers. In the past two games, Neal has rushed for 88 and 75 yards to go over this line in both. Plus, he saw a season-high 15 carries last week in the midst of QB Jalon Daniels leaving early. Since Daniels is out for this game, expect the Jayhawks to lean on the run and Neal’s legs more often just like last week.

In any case, this matchup is very favorable against one of the worst rush defenses in the country. Oklahoma is allowing 214.5 rushing yards per game (122nd in FBS) and 4.8 ypc. The Sooners have allowed all three opposing lead backs to go for 100+ yards in Big 12 play and Neal could be the next.

Audric Estime (Notre Dame) – OVER 78.5 Rush Yards

Estime began this season as the backup to Chris Tyree in the Notre Dame backfield. Then the Irish lost their first two games and looked for answers offensively. One of the key breakout performers during Notre Dame’s turnaround has been Estime. The sophomore has rushed for 76, 134, and 97 yards the last three games while seeing a big uptick in carries. He has 18, 17, and 14 carries in these past three contests and is outperforming Tyree. Now Estime and Notre Dame get to face a subpar Stanford rush defense that’s allowing 207 rushing yards per game (121st in FBS) and 5.63 yards per carry (126th). The Cardinal D has also allowed three 100-yard rushers over the past four games.

Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss) – UNDER 214.5 Pass Yards

Last week, we gladly took the over on Dart’s yards props because he was facing the poor Vanderbilt pass defense. This week, we’re going the other way in a much tougher matchup. Auburn’s defense is allowing just 196 passing yards per game (32nd in FBS) and only one opposing QB has gone over this 214.5 passing yards mark against the Tigers. That was Chevan Cordeiro from a pass-centric San Jose State offense over a month ago. Every other QB to face Auburn has gone under this line, including some decent quarterbacks like Stetson Bennett and Sean Clifford. The Tigers may be on the verge of losing their head coach, but at least they defend the pass well.

Meanwhile, the Ole Miss offense has been very run-heavy this season with a dynamic backfield duo of Zach Evans and Quinshon Judkins. Even Dart himself will run it a bunch as a dual-threat on read options. Dart has gone under 224.5 passing yards in five of six games and last week’s 448-yard explosion was an outlier against Vanderbilt. Plus, Ole Miss is two-touchdown favorites in this game and should lean on the run in the second half with a lead.

Other PrizePicks CFB Top Plays:

  • Graham Mertz (Wisconsin) – OVER 1.5 Pass TDs
  • Jaydn Ott (California) – OVER 98.5 Rush Yards
  • Jordan Addison (USC) – UNDER 80.5 Receiving Yards
