Today's Top Plays

OVER 17.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts

Jacob Young should be extremely active on offense tonight with Will Richardson expected out with an illness. In the last game with Richardson out, Young stepped up with 21 points and four assists while running the Oregon attack. He’s been the Ducks’ point guard all season but is now needed more as a scorer for this matchup vs. rival Oregon State. That should help him get up and over 17.5 combined points, rebounds and assists. In two games against Oregon St's conference-worst defense this season, Young put up 25 and 23 PRA. Even with Richardson playing lately, Young had over 17.5 PRA in three of the previous four games and has picked up his overall production heading into the Pac-12 tournament.

OVER 17.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts

Tonight’s matchup vs. Nebraska is as good as it gets for Boo Buie and Northwestern. The Cornhuskers have the worst defensive efficiency in the Big Ten and run at the conference’s fastest tempo. It’s an ideal spot to target for DFS and/or player props, so we’re doing it here with Buie’s combined points, rebounds and assists. Outside of a recent game where he played only six minutes while limited with an illness, the Wildcats’ point guard has at least 18 PRA in seven of the last nine games and is averaging 20.8 PRA over that span. Buie should keep it going in this uptempo and very favorable matchup vs. Nebraska. He had 20 and 31 PRA in the two regular-season meetings with the ‘Huskers.

OVER 11.5 Points

Kobe Brown comes into the SEC tournament on a mini hot streak with 19 and 21 points scored in the past two games. He’s also gone over 11.5 points in four of the last five contests with the lone outlier being a tough road matchup vs. LSU’s sound defense. Brown will have an easier time tonight against a Mississippi frontcourt that’s the conference’s second-worst interior defense and allows the SEC’s highest percentage of opposing two-point scoring. The Mizzou big man had 13 and 15 points against Ole Miss in the two regular-season meetings. He’s recently seen an uptick in shot volume over the past month and is a go-to offensive option for the Tigers.

UNDER 14.5 Points

Let’s wrap things up with an under play. This 14.5 points projection is a tick too high when you consider Keve Aluma is averaging only 12.8 PPG over the past five games. Plus, he just faced Clemson (tonight’s opponent) in the regular-season finale and finished with only seven points. The Virginia Tech big man will have his hands full with Tigers’ center PJ Hall in this matchup, which should limit his offensive production. While Aluma is averaging 15.4 PPG this season, the colder streak coming in is hard to ignore. He’s been under 14.5 points in three of the last five games as well.
