Adama Sanogo, Connecticut OVER 23.5 Pts/Rebs/Asts

After a couple of weak games, UCONN coach Dan Hurley publicly challenged Sanogo to stay out of foul trouble and make his big presence known on the court. He sure has responded and been dominant over the last three games. Against Seton Hall, he scored 20 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, and then had big games over two very good defenses in Xavier and Villanova. 

With a 27.6% usage, 28.5% shot, and 13.8% offensive rebounding rate (39th in the nation) Sanogo comes finds himself in a smash today against one of the worst defenses in the country- Georgetown. The Hoyas get beat up in the interior allowing a 52.5% 2-Pt field goal and 28.9% defensive rebounding rate giving Sanogo more than a good chance to hit the over on the 23.5 PRA prop.

 

 

 

EJ Liddell, Ohio State OVER 7.0 Rebounds

Liddell is a finalist for the Naismith Trophy, awarded to College Basketball’s best player. He has earned it and continues to bolster his resume with big game after big game. His stats speak for themselves and in a win over Minnesota last week he recorded his sixth double-double of the season. He ranks in the Top 20 nationally for points per game with 20.1 and just outside the Top 75 for rebounds per game at 7.5. 

Maryland has one of the worst interior defenses in the country and players have racked up big rebound games all season against the Terrapins. In just the last two games Race Thompson of Indiana pulled down nine while John Harrar of Penn State grabbed 20. With a 27.1% offensive rebounding (211th) and 27.2% defensive rebounding (128th) rate Maryland will struggle to keep Liddell off the boards as he has more than a good chance of hitting today’s prop.
