CBB DFS Top Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Jordan Dingle | PENN | COR | 9300 | 34.75 |
| Penn’s stud playmaker is priced up, but he’s still a top play on this slate in a huge pace-boost matchup. Dingle is averaging 23 PPG and 34 DK this season but has been lighting it up for more than those numbers lately. He returned from a one-game absence and “only” had 20 points and 23 DK last game. Expect a bounceback and a big stat line tonight with the uptempo tilt vs Cornell. It'll be hard to fade him in cash lineups. | ||||
| Greg Dolan | COR | PENN | 8200 | 29.39 |
| Unfortunately a lot of the Cornell players are priced up, but Dolan is at an appropriate price tag for his upside in a high-scoring game tonight. Dolan is a 57% three-point shooter and gets to face a Penn defense that allows a ton of points via the perimeter. If he gets hot from three-point range, Dolan has the ceiling to post 35-40 DK – though the floor is 20-25 DFS points. | ||||
| Jarron Coleman | BALL | AKR | 7100 | 28.95 |
| Coleman has been on a roll lately with 30+ DK in five of the last six games while operating as Ball State’s offensive alpha. He’s seeing heavy shot volume and usage from the point guard spot and should offer a strong cash floor at this price tonight. The salary is actually very affordable compared to other top guards on the slate, so don’t be surprised if Coleman is popular in cash. | ||||
| Clark Slajchert | PENN | COR | 6200 | 26.96 |
| In the highest total of the slate and an uptempo matchup, Slajchert is the second Penn player we want to roster behind Dingle. Considering the discount, Slajchert should be popular in all formats because he should be more expensive. The junior recently returned from a three-game absence and just went off for 31 points and 35 DK last game. He’s now dropped at least 27 DK in four of the last five games with 35+ DK in three of those. | ||||
Also Consider:
- Paxson Wojcik – Brown (GPP)
- Demarius Jacobs – Ball State (Cash)
CBB DFS Value Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Greg Tribble | AKR | BALL | 5400 | 14.75 |
| A big injury to monitor tonight is Xavier Castaneda, who’s a game-time decision. If he plays, then the Akron guard should be considered a top play. If he’s out, then Tribble could step into a bigger offensive role for the Zips. That’s what happened last game with Castaneda out as Tribble scored a season-high 16 points with 26 DK. He’d be a good value with this uptick in offensive usage if his teammate sits again. | ||||
| Idan Tretout | HARV | BRN | 4100 | 13.7 |
| Though he’s coming off the bench, Tretour has played 20 and 29 minutes in the last two games and it’s resulted in 15 and 23 DK, respectively. The senior has seen an uptick in shot volume and offensive usage over these past two contests, and it’s a trend we could see continue tonight. For the cheap price, Tretout is worth a shot in GPPs for the 5x upside or better. | ||||
| Tavari Johnson | AKR | BALL | 3900 | 15.29 |
| If Xavier Castaneda is out again, another Akron guard to consider is Tavari Johnson. The freshman has already been starting the last six games for the Zips and he’ll be needed in the backcourt more. Johnson has already been logging 25-30 minutes per game, so the playing time was there before Castaneda’s absence. He can easily return value in cash or GPP at sub-4k. | ||||
| Dejuan Clayton | CAL | STAN | 3300 | 11.62 |
| Clayton is a wild card value on this slate. He made his first start of the season with Devin Askew out last game and responded with 10 points and 14 DK across 33 minutes. Clayton missed the first chunk of the season with a hamstring injury, but he’s back for the last two contests and it’s a good sign of him getting a start this soon since returning. Check on Askew’s status, but Clayton should get the start again tonight. The former Hartford and Coppin State transfer brings a ton of experience to the table for Cal as a seventh-year senior and he might not be this cheap for long. | ||||
Also Consider:
- Joel Brown – California (GPP)
- Jaylin Sellers – Ball State (Cash/GPP)
- Evan Nelson – Harvard (Cash)
CBB DFS Top Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Chris Ledlum | HARV | BRN | 9500 | 37.87 |
| It’s weird to say, but a Harvard player is the top overall option on this slate. There aren’t many studs in action tonight, so most people will be rostering Ledlum and Dingle in cash before figuring the rest out. As for Ledlum, he’s posted 50+ DK in two straight games coming into this one and offers a strong floor/ceiling combo with his high usage and shot volume, plenty of ancillary stats, and rebounding ability. He’s a stat-stuffer and a high-volume scorer – so fade at your own risk without many comps on this slate. | ||||
| Enrique Freeman | AKR | BALL | 9000 | 33.3 |
| Freeman and Castaneda are the two studs for Akron and one is a game-time decision tonight. Even if Castaneda plays, Freeman is still a top forward option on this slate. He’s averaging a double-double and 33 DK this season and provides a strong cash floor. If Castaneda sits, then bump up Freeman as a top overall play. He went for 27 points, 15 rebounds, and 55 DK last game with his teammate out. | ||||
| Spencer Jones | STAN | CAL | 6900 | 23.56 |
| Even though Stanford has an easy matchup against Cal tonight, a lot of the Cardinal players are priced a tad too high to roster in cash. In GPP lineups, though, you can roll out Harrison Ingram or Spencer Jones for the upside. Jones put up 42 DK with 25 points scored two games ago. His 30% shot rate leads the team as he’s taken double-digit shots in four straight and eight of the last nine contests. He can have success against weaker opponents like Cal. | ||||
Also Consider:
- Payton Sparks – Ball State (GPP)
- Harrison Ingram – Stanford (GPP)
- Nick Spinoso – Penn (GPP)
CBB DFS Value Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Chisom Okpara | HARV | BRN | 5000 | 16.03 |
| If Okpara can stay out of foul trouble tonight, he has a ton of upside in GPPs. The freshman center comes off the bench for Harvard, but he boasts 25% usage and shot rates in his 15-20 minutes per game. That trails only Chris Ledlum in terms of offensive pecking order for Harvard. Again, fouls are an issue for the big man, but he has 25-30 DK upside at his best. | ||||
| Mickey Pearson Jr. | BALL | AKR | 4700 | 16.73 |
| Pearson has started past five games for Ball State, which has raised his DFS floor with a safer amount of minutes. He’s not heavily involved offensively, but the wing can offer just enough ancillary stats to return value. There aren’t many good value forwards on this slate, but we can get 15-20 DK from Pearson as a decent salary-saver. | ||||
Also Consider:
- Kuany Kuany – California (Cash)
- Brandon Angel – Stanford (GPP/Cash)
