Jalen PickettPSUIU960042.14
Pickett is expensive, but he continues to be worth it with stat-stuffing performances. He just put up 52 DK on Sunday vs Purdue and is now averaging these impressive numbers over five Big Ten games: 22.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 47 DK. Pickett will surely keep it going in a pace-boost spot here vs Indiana, a team that’s also struggled defensively during conference play. Don't overlook him in cash.
Souley BoumXAVCRE890032.67
Both Colby Jones and Souley Boum are good plays tonight in this uptempo matchup with Creighton. They are both expensive but can give you 40 DK in this high-scoring environment. It’s always tough choosing between them, but Jones is better for cash while Boum offers a higher GPP ceiling. He just went for 22 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and 49 DK on Saturday, but also has some floor games mixed in lately.
Adam FlaglerBAYWVU820032.17
Baylor is on a three-game losing streak and will be desperate for a win tonight. Sometimes these narratives don’t play into DFS decisions, but it’s likely the senior Flagler will be anchoring the offense with the ball in his hands a ton. That’s been the case anyway, but Flagler should be locked into a strong cash floor with upside at this cheaper price than other top players tonight. He just put up 23 points and 39 DK last game and should put up 30+ DK again here in one of the slate's higher totals.
Jalen Hood-SchifinoIUPSU780027.02
Indiana’s talented freshman is taking full advantage of his larger offensive role with Xavier Johnson out. Hood-Schifino has 40+ DK in back-to-back games and he’s averaging 22.3 points, 5.5 assists, and 35.8 DK with Johnson sidelined. Even though his price tag is at a season-high now, we can still roster with him in cash or GPP because of his larger offensive usage and shot volume. He just exploded for 33 points last game and is playing with a ton of confidence right now.
Wade Taylor IVTA&MMIZZ720028.2
Both Wade Taylor and Tyrece Radford are good plays tonight in an uptempo matchup vs Missouri with one of the slate’s highest totals – and playing the role of “late-night hammer.” Taylor’s price tag is really intriguing because while he hasn’t posted 30+ DK in four straight games, that upside is definitely there tonight. It’s very likely one or both of Taylor and Radford exceed value, so don’t overlook them in cash or GPP.

Also Consider:

  • Kendric Davis – Memphis ($9500) – GPP
  • Colby Jones – Xavier ($8600) – Cash
  • Ricky Council – Arkansas ($7500) – Cash/GPP
  • Mark Sears – Alabama ($7100) – Cash

Ryan NembhardCREXAV590023.95
Nembhard was hard to roster in the high-6k price range, but he’s now cheap enough to consider in GPPs. Nembhard still has the upside to go off for 30+ DK in any given game and that ceiling is there tonight in an uptempo, high-scoring matchup with Xavier. He had 36 DK in a similar pace-boost matchup vs DePaul two games ago.
Davonte DavisARKBAMA560019.12
Davis is coming off of a bad performance at Auburn over the weekend, but he still has the upside to bounce back and 5x this discounted price tag. Davis is still playing a bigger role right now with Nick Smith out and he recently put up 31 and 27 DK with the increased role. This uptempo, high-scoring matchup with Alabama sets up to be another 25-30 DFS night for Davis.
Darius MaddoxVTSYR510017.58
Maddox has been playing well lately and he’s a great bargain for the 4x or 5x return in cash lineups. The Virginia Tech guard/wing provides enough ancillary stat production for a decent floor and he brings some three-point upside here against the Syracuse zone defense. Maddox can get hot from deep, like when he drained 4-for-6 last game vs NC State.
Jayhlon YoungUCFMEM440014.17
With Darius Johnson out last game, Young returned to a starting role for UCF and went off. The freshman put up 11 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and 38 DK across 30 minutes. Johnson is expected out again tonight, so Young should be starting and there’s upside for 30+ DK again in a major pace-boost matchup vs Memphis. Expect him to be popular in cash just because of his last performance and sub-5k price tag.
Tyrese ProctorDUKEPITT420016.05
Proctor moved back into Duke’s starting lineup last game with Jeremy Roach out. He took 10 shots and logged 32 minutes in the expanded role. Though it only resulted in 14 DK, the opportunity is there for a better game tonight at home with Roach doubtful to play. The 5x return is possible if the freshman starts at point guard again.

Also Consider:

  • Dexter Dennis – Texas A&M ($5300) – Cash
  • Joe Toussaint – West Virginia ($4900) – GPP if Kedrian Johnson out
  • Jaden Bradley – Alabama ($4700) – Cash
  • Stevie Mitchell – Marquette ($4700) – GPP
  • DeMarr Langford – Boston College ($4500) – Cash
  • Elijah McCadden – Memphis ($3700) – GPP

CBB DFS Top Forwards

Trayce Jackson-DavisIUPSU980041.27
After missing two games at the end of December, Jackson-Davis has been dominant the past two contests. He’s put up 49 and 68 DK with stat lines of 30 points/nine rebounds/three blocks and 18 points/24 rebounds/four blocks. We know TJD will get heavy shot volume and he should have his way against an undersized Penn State frontcourt with one of the worst interior defenses in the Big Ten. Multiple opposing bigs have dominated PSU this year and TJD will be the next.
Brandon MillerBAMAARK920036.62
Miller is arguably the best freshman in the country and he’s been a DFS stud nearly every game. He’s averaging nearly 21 PPG and 40 DK over the past six games and only twice this season has he failed to reach 30 DK (one on the road at Houston). It’s become almost automatic for Miller to produce and he’s a top play on this slate in an uptempo contest vs Arkansas.
Justyn MuttsVTSYR860033.28
Against the Syracuse zone, we like targeting opposing three-point shooters or high-post players. Mutts falls firmly into that latter category and he should have plenty of success tonight as the VT offense runs through him. He actually had a triple-double vs Syracuse last year and his skillset fits right into that high-post playmaker role against this zone defense. Plus, Mutts is playing well right now and averaging 16.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 38 DK in conference play.
Zach FreemantleXAVCRE800032.94
Freemantle is on a roll right now after dropping 29 points and 53 DK on Saturday and 45 DK the game prior vs UConn. Even though he’s now priced up at 8k flat, we should still strongly consider him in all formats in this high-scoring matchup. Creighton’s interior defense is a weakness and that’s where Freemantle does the large majority of his scoring. He could easily post a similar statline to Adam Sanogo’s on Saturday when the UConn big man had 26 points and 41 DK. It’s worth mentioning that Freemantle’s 24% usage rate and 28% shot rate lead the team in conference play.
Arthur KalumaCREXAV690024.38
Kaluma has been up-and-down this season, but he’s playing well right now and is coming off of a 14-point, 16-rebound, 40 DK outing on the road at UConn over the weekend. He also had 32 DK and a double-double the game prior. When Kaluma is active on the boards and aggressive as a scorer, his GPP ceiling is 35-40 DFS points and this sub-7k price tag would be a bargain. It’s tough to expect that every game, but there’s upside in an uptempo matchup here vs Xavier.

Also Consider:

  • Norchad Omier – Miami FL ($8500) – Cash
  • Adama Sanogo – UConn ($8400) – GPP
  • Kyle Filipowski – Duke ($7800) – GPP
  • Quinten Post – Boston College ($6500) – GPP

CBB DFS Value Forwards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPG
Dariq WhiteheadDUKEPITT590014.54
Whitehead moved into Duke’s starting lineup last game and he scored a team-high 18 points across a season-high 33 minutes. The talented freshman looks more comfortable lately with double-digit points scored in four straight games and he’s put up at least 22 DK in three of the past four. He’s still a solid value at sub-6k despite the price jump, and he may not be this cheap for much longer. Jeremy Roach being out means Whitehead will see a larger offensive role like last game too.
Sean East IIMIZZTA&M520018.8
If you want cheap exposure to the high-total matchup between Texas A&M and Missouri, one option is East. Though he’s labeled as a forward and comes off the bench, East plays a ton of point guard for Mizzou and is logging starter-level minutes. He’s put up 18 and 23 DK in the past two games and should provide a 4x return or so in this high-scoring game.
Prince AligbeBCMIA440013.58
We’ve mentioned Aligbe as a value before in the playbook, and he’s still a bargain at sub-5k. The freshman leads Boston College in usage rate and shot rate (both 28%) and he’s shown the upside to go for 20-25 DK. He’s a bit risky for cash, but the GPP ceiling would smash value and the potential is there tonight in an uptempo spot vs Miami.
Malik ReneauIUPSU420014.17
With Race Thompson out indefinitely, more playing time has opened up for Reneau in the Indiana frontcourt. He came off the bench last game, but still logged 24 minutes and had 12 DK in limited action. It’s notable that Reneau was on the court for much longer than starter Jordan Geronimo (10 minutes), which could be a trend moving forward. The 5x upside or better is there for Reneau with Thompson out.
Maliq BrownSYRVT330011.62
Brown had 11 points, eight rebounds, and three steals/blocks in 36 minutes last game with Benny Williams out. The 24 DK smashed his price tag, and it was impressive to see this performance come both on the road at Virginia and from a reserve role. The freshman’s playing time has fluctuated this season, but Brown has been very productive when given legit minutes in the Syracuse rotation. If Williams is out again, Brown is a great value play even if he comes off the bench.

Also Consider:

  • Charles Bediako – Alabama ($5000) – Cash
  • Michael Durr – UCF ($4400) – GPP
  • Chandler Lawson – Memphis ($4300) – GPP
