College Basketball CBB DFS Picks 2/4 Night

CBB DFS Top Guards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPG
Drew PetersonUSCUW840032.64
Peterson is coming off of a strong stat-stuffing performance on Thursday with 20 points and 41 DK. He continues to be a trustworthy cash stud with a strong DFS floor. He and Boogie Ellis are both good plays tonight at home against Washington. Peterson has the safer cash floor while Ellis brings the GPP upside. Peterson had 17 points and 28 DK vs Washington earlier this season.
Desmond Cambridge Jr.ASUORE820026.07
Cambridge has been Arizona State’s best player during conference play and his price tag has finally risen back above 8k. Even still, he’s firmly in play for GPP or cash against a shaky defensive team in Oregon. He went off for 21 points and 37 DK vs Oregon earlier this season and can easily go for 20+ points and 35+ DK again tonight with how much he's shooting it these days.
Tyrece RadfordTA&MUGA770025.76
Texas A&M’s guard duo of Tyrece Radford and Wade Taylor are both upside options in this favorable home matchup vs Georgia. They’ve both been playing well lately and have shown the upside for 30-35 DK at their best. As ford Radford, he’s averaging 20.7 PPG over the past four games while seeing heavy offensive usage.
Logan JohnsonSTMRYGONZ730027.27
St. Mary’s gets a pace-boost against Gonzaga, so we can raise expectations a bit for all its players. Johnson, especially, offers a strong and consistent DFS floor for cash lineups with upside for more in higher-scoring matchups than the Gaels are used to. He had 38+ DK in three recent uptempo situations in conference play and regularly provides 25 DK or so at his floor. You can also look at Aidan Mahaney on the cheaper end for GPPs.

Also Consider:

  • Boogie Ellis – USC ($8600) – GPP
  • Julian Strawther – Gonzaga ($7900) – Cash/GPP
  • Kerr Kriisa – Arizona ($7100) – GPP
  • Aidan Mahaney – Saint Mary's ($6100) – GPP

CBB DFS Value Guards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPG
Rasir BoltonGONZSTMRY510018.99
Yes, this is a pace-down spot for Gonzaga and against a tough defense on the road. Still, Bolton shouldn’t be priced this low as it’s the cheapest he’s been since November. That’s despite scoring 16 points and 29 DK last game. Bolton doesn’t usually light it up for the Zags, but he can provide a solid 4x return at this affordable price as he’s averaging 20.9 DK over the past 10 contests. The guard also has been playing better on the road and his veteran experience will be needed for Gonzaga tonight.
Joe ToussaintWVUOU490020.02
Toussaint comes off the bench but is still one of West Virginia’s offensive catalysts. His 25% usage rate and 26% shot rate this season trail only Erik Stevenson for the team lead. Toussaint has been playing well lately with 38, 22, and 21 DK over the past three games while seeing more minutes at the point than starter Kedrian Johnson. He’s a solid value at this sub-5k price, especially since he had 14 points and 18 DK vs Oklahoma earlier this season.
Sahvir WheelerUKUSC450020.45
Wheeler moved back into Kentucky’s starting lineup last game with Cason Wallace out. As the lead point guard, Wheeler put up 22 DK with nine assists across 34 minutes. Wallace could easily be out again tonight, and Wheeler is way too cheap at sub-5k. The guy was regularly putting up 20-25 DK as a starter earlier this season and always has the upside for more if he’s aggressive as a scorer. If Wallace is out and Wheeler starts, expect him to be chalky in all formats. If Wallace is back, Wheeler is more of a GPP play.
Riley KugelUFUK380012.74
Kugel has started the past three games for Florida and will likely stick in the starting rotation moving forward. He only had 10 DK last game, which is why he’s priced back below 4k. Still, he had 22 and 24 DK in the two games prior as a starter. He should not be priced this low as long as he continues to start, and it’s a great value in all formats.
PJ Fuller IIUWUSC350015.68
Fuller seemed to be in the coach’s doghouse in recent weeks and barely came off the bench at times. Last game, though, he moved back into the starting lineup and logged 35 minutes with Noah Williams getting benched. Fuller had 11 points, six rebounds, and 24 DK with the uptick in playing time. He’d be a great value if starting in Williams’ place again. Plus, Cole Bajema is suspended tonight which will open up more playing time for Fuller. Don’t overlook Jamal Bey if he starts with Bajema out.

Also Consider:

  • DJ Horne – Arizona State ($5000) – GPP
  • Tre White – USC ($4400) – Cash
  • CJ Fredrick – Kentucky ($4100) – GPP
  • Jusaun Holt - Georgia ($3700) – Cash
  • Jamal Bey – Washington ($3100) – GPP

CBB DFS Top Forwards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPG
Oscar TshiebweUKUF1030040.74
Even at this expensive price, Tshiebwe should be considered a top overall play tonight with a strong DFS floor and massive ceiling at his best. This matchup is a favorable one as Florida’s defense funnels opposing scoring inside while defending the perimeter well. So, Tshiebwe should be pretty busy offensively for Kentucky and could be in line for a big stat line. Plus, the Kentucky center tends to have his better games at home like tonight.
Azuolas TubelisARIZORST970039.76
Tubelis went absolutely bonkers on Thursday with 40 points scored and 63 DK. That’s the DFS ceiling that we know exists for the Arizona big man. The floor is always safe for 30+ DK on a normal basis, but you’re paying this price tag for that ceiling – especially with Oscar Tshiebwe and Drew Timme on the slate too. Even so, Tubelis went for 25 points and 43 DK vs Oregon State earlier this season and easily could replicate those numbers tonight.
Keion Brooks Jr.UWUSC830032.39
Whether Washington wins or loses, Brooks continues to be a consistent DFS stud. He has at least 33 DK in eight straight games with 22+ points scored in five of the last six contests. Brooks is now averaging 19.4 PPG, 7.3 RPG, and 34 DK over the past 10 games. He also went for 22 points, seven boards, and 40 DK vs USC earlier this season. Brooks is tough to fade in cash with this consistency.
Mitchell SaxenSTMRYGONZ740029.3
We’re getting a great big man matchup tonight with Drew Timme vs Mitchell Saxen. Though Timme is priced way higher, Saxen could easily match his DFS output or even put up better numbers tonight. The St. Mary’s center has the upside for 30+ DK in favorable matchups and Timme doesn’t play great defense on opposing bigs. This price tag is really affordable for the 30 DK upside like he’s shown multiple times in conference play.

Also Consider:

  • Colin Castleton – Florida ($8900) – Cash
  • Donta Scott – Maryland ($7800) – GPP

CBB DFS Value Forwards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPG
Alex DucasSTMRYGONZ570021.08
St. Mary’s plays a tight rotation and Ducas serves a critical role on the wing as a defender and three-point shooter. He’s right on the edge of being a value but has the upside to smash this price tag if his deep shots are falling. There’s a chance he can do that in a pace-boost spot here at home vs Gonzaga. Even so, Ducas just had 18 points and 33 DK last game and is averaging 12.2 PPG and 21 DK over the last 10 contests.
Cedric Henderson Jr.ARIZORST510014.71
Henderson was a value for us on Thursday and he came through with 22 DK to return value. He now has 20+ DK in back-to-back games and in three of the last five since re-joining Arizona’s starting lineup. Even with this slight price increase, Henderson is still pretty affordable for the 4x value or so in cash lineups.
Vincent IwuchukwuUSCUW43009.5
Iwuchukwu likely moves into USC’s starting center spot with Joshua Morgan out tonight. We’ve been touting the talented freshman on a speculative basis lately, but he’ll wind up being a chalky value now if he starts with Morgan sidelined. Iwuchukwu played a season-high 23 minutes with 15 DK last game after Morgan got hurt. The days of him being priced below 5k might not last much longer.

Also Consider:

  • Jimmy Bell – West Virginia ($5700) – GPP
  • Pharrel Payne – Minnesota ($5500) – GPP
  • KC Ibekwe – Oregon State ($4800) – GPP

CBB DFS Core Plays

  • Keion Brooks – Washington
  • Drew Peterson – USC
  • Vincent Iwuchukwu – USC

DK GPP:

  • Oscar Tshiebwe – Kentucky
  • Mitchell Saxen – Saint Mary's
