College Basketball CBB DFS Picks 3/2

CBB DFS Top Guards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Drew PetersonUSCARIZ880033.13830030.38
With USC needing a big win at home to strengthen its bubble resume, both Drew Peterson and Boogie Ellis are strong DFS plays as they anchor the Trojans. This pace-boost matchup vs Arizona should benefit both offensively to provide a safe cash floor with plenty of GPP upside. Though Ellis is cheaper, Peterson gets the nod with slightly more consistency and a higher ceiling. The point-forward is averaging a stat-stuffing 35 DK over the past 10 games and went for 15 points, seven rebounds, and 30 DK vs Arizona earlier this year.
Marcus SasserUHWICH860029.86
Sasser is on a roll with at least 20 points scored in five straight games and 35+ DK in four of these past five. It doesn’t matter if Houston is blowing the opponent out or winning close, Sasser is doing his thing either way right now. He’s also averaging 17.2 PPG and 30 DK over the past 10 games while draining 42% from three. Expect more of the same to anchor cash lineups tonight at home.
Terrence Shannon Jr.ILMICH800030.66750028.20
Since returning from a concussion, Shannon has gone for 26 points/31 DK and then 10 points/16 DK. This is the nature of rostering the Illinois guard, who’s been up and down for DFS and real life all season. Tonight, though, should be one of those boom performances. First off, he could be seeing a ton of usage and shot volume with Jayden Epps doubtful and Michael Mayer missing practice time this week. Plus, Shannon has performed better at home all year – averaging 18.6 PPG and 32 DK at home vs 14.1 PPG and 26 DK on the road.
Courtney RameyARIZUSC700024.39630022.14
Ramey has taken on a bigger offensive role down the stretch for Arizona. After going a month without 30+ DK in a game, Ramey has now done it three times in the past four contests with an increased shot volume and stronger DFS floor of ancillary stats. His price tag is still in a range to exceed value if we get another active performance from him. Ramey is averaging a solid 11.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 27 DK over the past 10 games.
Tyger CampbellUCLAASU680024.87620023.02
This is still a buy-low opportunity for the UCLA point guard, who hasn’t been great over the past month overall but is trending back up recently. Campbell has 18 points/33 DK and 14 points/32 DK in the past two games with an increase in shot volume and looking more like the all-conference PG we know. He also had 22 points and 28 DK vs Arizona State earlier this season.

Also Consider:

  • Boogie Ellis – USC (Cash/GPP)
  • Desmond Cambridge – Arizona State (GPP)
  • Kobe Bufkin – Michigan (Cash)
  • Damian Dunn – Temple (GPP)

CBB DFS Value Guards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Hysier MillerTEMPUCF560020.85
Miller has stepped into a bigger role in the Temple backcourt and he’ll likely remain there moving forward with Khalif Battle out and Jahlil White dealing with an ankle injury. Miller has at least 27 DK in four straight games while filling up the stat sheet in multiple ways and scoring in double figures each time. He’s a strong value in the sub-6k on DK and could be popular.
Jamal BeyUWWSU540015.5600014.30
Washington’s rotation and DFS production continues to be impossible to predict game to game. Lately, though, Bey is tending up with four straight starts and 32+ minutes played in each. He just went off for 21 points and 37 DK on 11 shot attempts last game and had 15 points with 29 DK three games ago. He’s risky, but Bey is worth a hard look in GPPs for his upside.
Joey BakerMICHIL400010.7443009.77
We’ll see if Jett Howard plays or not tonight. If not, then Baker continues to be a solid value. He’s started the past two games with Howard out and put up 19 and 18 DK in 26 and 36 minutes, respectively. We’ll take that DFS production all day at his cheap price tags tonight if it lets us fit another stud in.
Kamari McGeeWISCPUR31003.4742003.19
McGee could be starting at point guard for Wisconsin tonight with Chucky Hepburn dealing with a knee injury and doubtful to play. McGee stepped into a season-high 25 minutes last game when Hepburn left early and he put up a decent 11 DK in the extended playing time. It’s not much, but we could see a better 6x value return tonight if the sophomore starts in Hepburn’s absence.
Sencire HarrisILMICH30009.6736009.06
It’s possible we see Harris enter Illinois’ starting lineup or, at least, step into a bigger role in the backcourt tonight. Jayden Epps’ status is in doubt after he suffered a concussion in practice on Tuesday. It seems likely that Epps will be sidelined tonight and Harris is a prime candidate to start if so. He’s is one of the only backup Illini guards that’s gotten meaningful playing time in conference play and he even started a few games earlier this season. The value might be too good to pass up.

Also Consider:

  • Max Klesmit – Wisconsin (GPP)
  • Reese Dixon-Waters – USC (Cash)
  • Koren Johnson – Washington (GPP)

CBB DFS Top Forwards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Zach EdeyPURWISC1150045.711000042.66
Even at his expensive price tags, Edey is in that “fade at your own risk” territory with a massive 60+ DK ceiling at his best. The National Player of the Year favorite just put up 55 DK last game with 26 points and 16 rebounds. He’s now averaging 24 points, 12.6 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, and 47 DK over the past 10 games. On the road at Wisconsin offers some risk, but Edey always has the upside to smash the slate in GPPs. Plus, he should have a rebounding and post advantage against a weaker Badgers frontcourt.
Azuolas TubelisARIZUSC980037.33880035.10
Tubelis has slumped in recent games, but he always has the upside for 50-60 DK at his ceiling. The Arizona big man is better suited for GPPs with his boom-or-bust tendency and is tough to trust in cash. Tonight, though, we can bump him up a tad with Oumar Ballo reportedly dealing with a knee injury. If Ballo is limited or out, then Tubelis should see a ton of usage down low.
Mouhamed GueyeWSUUW860030.83740028.30
Gueye has been an absolute stud lately for Washington State. The big man has 40+ DK in five of the last eight games with at least a 15-point double-double in four of the past five contests. This string of strong DFS outings has coincided with the Cougars winning five straight games as Gueye and his squad are ending the season strong. He went for 17 points, 15 rebounds, and 40 DK vs Washington last month and can easily match those numbers tonight. Don't overlook him in all formats.
N'Faly DanteORECAL850029.62
Dante dominated on both ends for Oregon last game with 16 points, 18 rebounds, and 44 DK. He now has three straight double-doubles and is averaging 13.6 points, 9.6 boards, and 31 DK over the past 10 games. The Ducks’ center is playing with a ton of conference and should have an easy time vs Cal at home tonight. Even at a season-high DK price tag, he’s a good cash or GPP play.
Harrison IngramSTANORST770025.03
Ingram continues to be a really solid cash forward and his price tag is starting to catch up. He’s averaging a stat-stuffing 29 DK over the past 10 games and continues to rack up points, assists, and rebounds on a regular basis. Ingram also has 30+ DK in four of the last five games and now gets an easier matchup vs Oregon State. You can do a lot worse in cash for a strong floor.

Also Consider:

  • Hunter Dickinson – Michigan (GPP)
  • Clifford Omoruyi – Rutgers (Cash)
  • Keion Brooks – Washington (GPP)

CBB DFS Value Forwards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Cedric Henderson Jr.ARIZUSC580016.22600014.80
Henderson has been a strong value for the past month while starting and he’s still just cheap enough to get a solid return. After scoring 19 points with 28 DK last game, Henderson now has double-digit points and/or 22+ DK in four of the last five outings. Plus, he had 11 points, seven rebounds, and 23 DK vs USC earlier this season. Another factor is Oumar Ballo reportedly dealing with a knee injury, which could force Henderson into a bigger role overall if his teammate is limited.
Nick JourdainTEMPUCF540015.89
Jourdain’s stat lines and DFS performance have been up and down this season, but he’s been more consistent lately. The power forward has 22+ DK in two of the last three games and 14+ DK in five straight. He’s also logging more minutes in a tighter Temple rotation right now with Khalif Battle out. The mid-5k DK price tag makes him a decent bargain tonight.
Ty RodgersILMICH490010.4241009.84
With Jayden Epps likely out tonight, Rodgers should be locked into more minutes on the wing. The freshman has already been a bigger part of the Illini rotation in the past month with 26+ minutes played in four of the last five games. Some of those were due to Terrence Shannon being out, but Epps’ absence would mean more solidified court time for Rodgers too.
Monty BowserCALORE32005.99
Usually, we can just cross off Cal players from a DFS standpoint. Bowser, though, deserves a look at his near-min price. The sophomore has started to see more playing time late in the season with 25+ minutes in four of the last five games and 16+ DK in three of those. On the road at Oregon is definitely tough, but Bowser is worth a GPP dart as a 5x salary-saver.

Also Consider:

  • Grant Newell – California (Cash)
  • Vincent Iwuchukwu – USC (GPP)
