College Basketball CBB DFS Picks 2/25
CBB DFS Top Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Marcus Sasser | UH | ECU | 8700 | 29.65 |
| Sasser is on a roll right now with 20+ points scored in four straight games and at least 36 DK in three of those. The Houston guard is now averaging 17.3 PPG and 30 DK over the past 10 games and just went off for 46 DK last time out. He’s always in play for GPPs, but this current hot streak makes him a clear top guard in all formats in an easy matchup vs East Carolina tonight. | ||||
| Jaelen House | UNM | SDSU | 8000 | 35.25 |
| Since returning from injury, House has put up 27 and 35 DK in his two games back. Though he’s still not shooting it particularly well from the field, it’s encouraging to see him heavily involved offensively without any setbacks to the hamstring. New Mexico is desperate for a resume-boosting win and House should be very active on both ends again tonight. He went for 29 points and 45 DK at San Diego State earlier this season and always has the upside to post similar numbers. | ||||
| Logan Johnson | STMRY | KU | 7900 | 29.34 |
| Johnson has been an absolute stud lately with at least 27 points scored and 42 DK in four of the last five games. He’s seeing very heavy shot volume as Saint Mary’s offensive alpha in this final stretch of the season. Though Johnson “only” had 23 DK vs Gonzaga earlier this season, he’s in prime form right now and will benefit from the pace boost. Plus, he’s averaging better numbers on the road this season with 19.3 PPG and 36 DK per game away vs 11.8 PPG and 25 DK at home. | ||||
| Matt Bradley | SDSU | UNM | 7000 | 23.13 |
| Bradley can be a volatile DFS play, but his price tag is really attractive tonight in a pace boost spot vs New Mexico. He has the GPP upside for 30+ DK at his best, which could come in a more uptempo matchup for the Aztecs. Bradley had 14 points and 26 DK against UNM earlier this season. At 7k flat, he’s an ideal GPP option on this slate. | ||||
| RJ Felton | ECU | UH | 6100 | 24.45 |
| Felton has been ECU’s alpha on offense ever since Javon Small went down in mid-January. He’s averaging 19.6 PPG and 32 DK over the past seven games while seeing heavy shot volume and usage in Small’s absence. A matchup against Houston is always a worry, but this price tag is really cheap for the 30 DK upside. Don’t overlook Felton in all formats tonight. | ||||
CBB DFS Value Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Tyrese Proctor | DUKE | VT | 5700 | 18.6 |
| Proctor is still cheap enough to consider him a value. He’s averaging a solid 21 DK over the past 10 games and usually fills up the stat sheet in multiple ways. Proctor also has 24+ DK in four of the last seven games and went for a stat-stuffed 28 DK vs Virginia Tech earlier this season. He tends to do just enough across the board to return value. | ||||
| Rasir Bolton | GONZ | STMRY | 5400 | 19.34 |
| Bolton is pretty affordable in the mid-5k range for the 20-25 DK that he’s usually good for. Though this matchup vs Saint Mary’s is a tough one and Bolton had less than 10 DK against them earlier this season, expect a better performance at home this time. He’s averaging a solid 19.8 DK over the past 10 games and can easily outperform his price tag when he’s clicking offensively. | ||||
| Mike Saunders Jr. | UTAH | USC | 4700 | 7.11 |
| After being buried on the Utah bench all season, Saunders exploded for 25 points in 24 reserve minutes on Thursday. This literally came out of nowhere since Saunders had scored just three total points in a handful of minutes throughout conference play. However, the opportunity was there with both Rollie Worster and Gabe Madsen sidelined last game and potentially again tonight. Saunders was a decent role player for Cincinnati last year but he just never found his spot in Utah’s rotation – until now, apparently. | ||||
| Reese Dixon-Waters | USC | UTAH | 4600 | 16.79 |
| Dixon-Waters has 20 and 25 DK in his two games back from injury with double-digit points scored in both. He’s playing plenty as USC’s sixth-man and key two-way wing option off the bench. Dixon-Waters had a stat-filled 27 DK vs Utah earlier this season and looks like a solid bargain at sub-5k tonight. | ||||
| Javonte Johnson | UNM | SDSU | 4200 | 13.07 |
| Johnson could be a solid cash salary-saver at his cheap price tonight. The junior wing tends to do just enough to return value as he’s averaging a solid 14 DK over the past 10 games with a couple of 20+ DK outbursts in the past two weeks. It’s nothing huge, but if Johnson gives you 15 DK or so at his price and allows you to pay up elsewhere – it might be worth it. | ||||
CBB DFS Top Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Drew Timme | GONZ | STMRY | 9900 | 38.07 |
| Timme is very expensive, but he’s always in play for GPPs with a massive ceiling at his best. The Gonzaga big man has 44 and 43 DK in the past two games and he’s shown 50+ DK upside at times this season. Matching up with a good defensive team in Saint Mary’s against Mitchell Saxen down low is tough. Still, Timme gets this rematch at home and comes in playing well over the past month. | ||||
| Morris Udeze | UNM | SDSU | 8300 | 32.02 |
| Udeze has been dominating lately with 40, 51, and 36 DK in the past three games, including some monster double-double stat lines. The New Mexico big man is now averaging 16.3 points, 11 rebounds, and 34 DK over the past 10 games with 30+ DK in 11 of the last 13 contests. He went for 10 points, 15 rebounds, and 33 DK vs San Diego St earlier this season and should post similar numbers in this home rematch. | ||||
| Branden Carlson | UTAH | USC | 8200 | 32.3 |
| Carlson went for 21 points and 45 DK vs USC earlier this season and now has favorable home splits on his side for this rematch. The Utah center is averaging 18 PPG and 36 DK at home compared to 13.3 PPG and 25 DK on the road this season. That’s a notable difference and something to always note when Utah is on the slate. This is also the cheapest we’ve seen Carlson in over a month, so it’s a nice buy-low opportunity. | ||||
| N'Faly Dante | ORE | ORST | 8100 | 29.07 |
| Dante has been really good throughout conference play and it’s nice to see him play up to his potential after a career marred by injuries. The Oregon center is averaging a strong stat line of 14.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.9 blocks/steals, and 31 DK over the past 10 games. He’s been pumping out 25-35 DK on a consistent basis and should keep it going in an easy matchup vs Oregon St. Earlier this season, Dante put up 17 points, eight boards, and 28 DK against the Beavers. | ||||
| Jarace Walker | UH | ECU | 7800 | 25.98 |
| We’ve been targeting Walker on the road over the past month and that continues tonight. The freshman seems to always step up on the road, averaging 15.2 PPG and 30 DK in away games compared to 8.9 PPG and 23 DK at home. That’s a notable difference and it’s nice to see from a true frosh like Walker. Though he’s always a volatile DFS option, there’s plenty of GPP upside tonight in an easy matchup vs ECU. | ||||
CBB DFS Value Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Keshad Johnson | SDSU | UNM | 5500 | 16.64 |
| Like many San Diego St players, Johnson can’t really be trusted for cash lineups but has the GPP upside to return value. The power forward has shown the potential for 20-25 DK at multiple points during conference play, but he also has some dud outings mixed in. Tonight, the pace boost vs New Mexico should lead to more DFS points overall – like when Johnson had 24 DK in this matchup earlier this season. | ||||
| Ezra Ausar | ECU | UH | 5000 | 17.5 |
| Ausar has at least 23 DK in five straight games and is averaging 30 DK over this recent span. The current run coincided with the freshman big man re-entering ECU’s starting lineup over the past month. The increase in minutes and role has clearly improved the DFS production. Yes, this matchup against Houston is a tough one, but it’s impossible to ignore Ausar’s recent form at just 5k flat for GPP or cash. | ||||
| Bostyn Holt | UTAH | USC | 3100 | 5.21 |
| If you want a dirt-cheap GPP dart throw, then Holt is your guy in the forward pool. The senior wing put up 21 DK over a season-high 28 minutes off the bench on Thursday with Rollie Worster and Gabe Madsen out. Assuming both guys are out again tonight, Holt is worth a look if he’s going to get the same level of playing time as last game. He had a solid stat line of nine points, seven rebounds, and three assists. | ||||
