College Basketball CBB DFS Picks 2/15
CBB DFS Top Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Colby Jones | XAV | MARQ | 8800 | 32.19 | 7500 | 30.00 |
| Though Jones is priced up a bit tonight, he’s still a top overall play in a high-scoring and uptempo matchup with Marquette. He’s been a reliable source of 30-35 DK almost every game in conference play and he had 35 DK with a stuffed stat sheet vs Marquette earlier this season. Jones has stepped up offensively lately with Zach Freemantle out and he may be needed even more tonight if Souley Boum is limited or out. | ||||||
| Tyler Kolek | MARQ | XAV | 8000 | 31.49 | 7800 | 29.52 |
| Kolek was excellent against Xavier earlier this season when he went for 25 points, seven assists, and 44 DK in a close loss. Maybe he won’t be as good in this rematch, but the Marquette point guard should still anchor cash lineups as a top play overall tonight. He’s averaging 15.2 points, eight assists, and 35 DK per game over the past 10 games and is seeing a higher shot volume over the past month. Kolek should be popular in cash. | ||||||
| Jalen Hood-Schifino | IU | NW | 6600 | 25.2 | 5300 | 22.90 |
| When Indiana faced Northwestern earlier this season, Hood-Schifino went off for 33 points and 40 DK in a narrow loss. Don’t expect a repeat of that stat line in this road rematch, but the freshman still has the ceiling to go for 30-35 DK tonight at his best. Hood-Schifino just scored 21 points and 31 DK last game and he’s shown that upside multiple times during conference play. This price tag is very affordable compared to his proven DFS upside – and it’s the cheapest he’s been since December. | ||||||
| Chase Hunter | CLEM | FSU | 6200 | 25.02 | ||
| Even though Hunter just had 15 points and 27 DK last game, we still get him at an affordable price point tonight that’s actually his cheapest all season. He shouldn’t be priced this low, especially in a favorable home matchup vs a woeful Florida St squad. Hunter went for 26 points and 35 DK vs FSU just a couple of weeks ago. While he hasn’t shot it particularly well since returning from injury, Hunter can smash this salary. | ||||||
Also Consider:
- Boo Buie – Northwestern (Cash/GPP)
- Tyrece Radford – Texas A&M (GPP)
- Anthony Black – Arkansas (Cash)
- Caleb Mills – Florida State (GPP)
- Kihei Clark – Virginia (Cash)
CBB DFS Value Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Antonio Reeves | UK | MSST | 5700 | 19.09 | ||
| Kentucky is dealing with injuries to Sahvir Wheeler and CJ Fredrick right now, so Reeves may be in line for a ton of backcourt minutes again. That was the case on Saturday when he logged 40 minutes, scored 20 points with 29 DK, and took a whopping 21 shots. Kentucky is desperate for reliable offense right now and Reeves may see heavy shot volume and offensive usage once again tonight to return value, especially if Wheeler and/or Fredrick are out. | ||||||
| Tyreke Key | TENN | BAMA | 4400 | 16.09 | 4500 | 14.54 |
| Key has seen a huge uptick in offensive involvement over the past two games. He’s scored 14 and 23 points with 21 and 38 DK in these past two contests with double-digit shot attempts in both. It’s tough to expect this scoring outburst to continue because Key’s been a role player all season. Still, the recent injuries to Josiah-Jordan James and Julian Phillips definitely put Key into a bigger role on the wing. | ||||||
| Jamal Bey | UW | ORE | 4300 | 14.51 | ||
| Washington’s rotations and starters are changing every day, but Bey looks to be back in the good graces of the coaching staff. He’s logged 35, 39, and 28 minutes over the past three games and put up 14, 27, and 19 DK in those outings. This is a very cheap price tag for the 5x upside or more if Bey is going to continue playing this much. | ||||||
| Tye Fagan | MISS | UF | 3300 | 6.34 | ||
| Ole Miss continues to switch up its lineups and rotations, and it looks like Fagan is the latest to benefit. The senior has logged 23 and 29 minutes in the past two games with 15 and 22 DK, respectively. That includes a 17-point outburst last time out as he led the Rebels in scoring. Fagan’s dirt cheap price tag makes him worth a GPP dart throw for the 7x value potential. | ||||||
Also Consider:
- Riley Kugel – Florida (Cash/GPP)
- Brevin Galloway – Clemson (Cash/;GPP)
- Jalen Warley – Florida State (GPP)
- Desmond Claude – Xavier (Cash)
- Rylan Griffen – Alabama (Cash/GPP)
CBB DFS Top Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Trayce Jackson-Davis | IU | NW | 11500 | 46.33 | 9400 | 43.54 |
| When Jackson-Davis is on the slate, we’re left with the tough decision of whether to swallow the expensive salary or fade him altogether. The Indiana center is on an insane run, averaging 23.2 points, 13.4 rebounds, 3.2 blocks, and 52 DK over the past 10 games. We’ve come to expect a 50-burger from TJD on a regular basis now, and he went off for 68 DK vs Northwestern earlier this season. Still, this is very expensive – so limit to GPPs. | ||||||
| Keion Brooks Jr. | UW | ORE | 8800 | 32.33 | ||
| Brooks is coming off one of his worst games of the season, but we should count on a bounceback effort tonight. Washington’s best player had been consistently scoring 20+ points with 35 DK or more before his last dud and a home matchup against a shaky Oregon defense is a good time to rebound. People may stay away, but this is a great play as the late-night hammer for the same or better production than other high-priced studs tonight. | ||||||
| PJ Hall | CLEM | FSU | 8000 | 25.52 | ||
| Both Clemson frontcourt studs can be considered top plays as PJ Hall and Hunter Tyson should have plenty of success at home against a weak Florida State team. Hall went for 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 35 DK vs FSU just a couple of weeks ago and can have similar success in this rematch. This 8k price tag is pretty cheap compared to Tyson and/or other top forwards on the slate for similar or better DFS production. | ||||||
| Oso Ighodaro | MARQ | XAV | 7300 | 28.67 | 7100 | 27.40 |
| Despite putting up 30 DK with a filled-up stat sheet last game, Ighodaro gets a price decrease down to his cheapest since mid-December. This is a mistake by DK and we should take advantage in GPP lineups as the Marquette big man brings a ton of upside into tonight’s matchup. He had 14 points, eight rebounds, and 32 DK vs Xavier earlier this season and has shown that ability multiple times during Big East play. The price tag in the mid-7k range is very affordable compared to other top-priced guys tonight. | ||||||
Also Consider:
- Jack Nunge – Xavier (Cash/GPP)
- Hunter Tyson – Clemson (Cash/GPP)
- Justyn Mutts – Virginia Tech (Cash)
- Henry Coleman – Texas A&M (GPP)
CBB DFS Value Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
| Aljaz Kunc | ISU | TCU | 5200 | 20.3 | 4100 | 18.87 |
| Kunc is starting to see a bigger offensive role and more playing time now that he’s been back for three games. The senior forward scored 13 points with 21 DK across 23 minutes last game. He was regularly producing 20-25 DK outings as a regular starter before getting hurt and looks to be back to doing it again. This is too cheap for Kunc’s talent level and upside, and now Iowa St gets a home pace boost vs TCU. | ||||||
| Robert Allen | MISS | UF | 4600 | 10.52 | ||
| Allen has started the past four games for Ole Miss and he has at least 21 DK in three of those outings. He’s basically taken over Jayveous McKinnis’ spot in the starting lineup and rotation with the Rebels looking for a late-season spark. McKinnis was a good value for us when he started and now it’s Allen’s turn to be a decent salary-saver. | ||||||
| Tobe Awaka | TENN | BAMA | 3700 | 9.24 | 3600 | 8.87 |
| Awaka’s playing time off the bench has fluctuated this season in a deep Tennessee rotation. Lately, though, the freshman is seeing an increase in minutes and offensive involvement. He has 22 and 17 DK in the past two games with 22 and 16 minutes played, respectively. Awaka may continue to see an increase in playing time and DFS production if either Josiah-Jordan James or Julian Phillips sit out tonight. | ||||||
| Nick Pringle | BAMA | TENN | 3100 | 7.28 | 3600 | 7.00 |
| Pringle could be playing a much bigger role in the Alabama frontcourt tonight if Charles Bediako is out. Bediako has a knee injury and could easily sit out here. If so, Pringle might start but he’d at least step into more minutes at the five spot for Bama. The junior has shown the ability to post 20+ DK at times this season when given the minutes – so the smash value upside is there at near min price. | ||||||
Also Consider:
- Chris Livingston – Kentucky (GPP)
- Jordan Geronimo – Indiana (GPP)
