College Basketball CBB DFS Picks 2/10
CBB DFS Top Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Colby Jones | XAV | BUTLE | 8400 | 32.06 |
| As usual when Xavier is on the slate, both Colby Jones and Souley Boum are top plays tonight. It’s always tough choosing between them, and you could roll out both on this small slate. Jones gets the slight nod, though, as he brings a more consistent and safer DFS floor. He’s also scored at least 19 points and 29 DK in four of the last five games. Boum has been good too, but his floor is a bit lower. | ||||
| Yuri Collins | STL | DAY | 8200 | 33.29 |
| If Saint Louis is on the slate, Collins should always be considered a top overall play. He brings a very strong DFS floor because of his elite assists production. Collins is averaging a whopping 10.1 assists per game, which leads college basketball by a decent margin. Even though he sometimes struggles to score real points, the assists alone are unmatched in the sport. He’s firmly in play for cash tonight. | ||||
| Jamal Mashburn Jr. | UNM | AF | 7200 | 28.04 |
| Mashuburn continues to get buckets for New Mexico. He’s averaging 22.7 PPG and 30 DK over the past 10 games and 20.6 PPG and 28 DK on the road this season. Mashburn doesn’t offer a ton in other stat categories, but his shot volume and raw points scored make him a good DFS option on a regular basis. He had 24 points and 31 DK vs Air Force recently and the $7200 price tag is pretty cheap compared to teammate Jaelen House. | ||||
| Jarod Lucas | NEV | XAV | 6900 | 24.54 |
| Lucas has come on strong for Nevada lately with 26, 19, and 28 points scored in the past three games and 30+ DK in each. He’s gone off for 20+ points and 30+ DK at times this season, but Lucas appears to have taken a step up in this final homestretch while leading the Wolfpack to a possible Tournament berth. He’s consistently getting heavy shot volume in this offense, so we know the opportunity for good games is there. Even in a low-total matchup tonight, Lucas can go off and anchor GPP lineups. | ||||
Also Consider:
- Jaelen House – New Mexico ($8700) – GPP
- Souley Boum – Xavier ($8300) – Cash
- Jayden Taylor – Butler ($6600) – GPP
CBB DFS Value Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Jemarl Baker | FRES | NEV | 5600 | 20.68 |
| Baker is pretty affordable for a guy that has 25+ DK in three straight games and is averaging 13.3 PPG and 22 DK over the past 10 contests. Even though Fresno isn’t a good team, Baker can still return value tonight. He has a strong 26% usage rate and 28% usage rate during conference play and brings upside to get hot from three. | ||||
| Koby Brea | DAY | STL | 4500 | 14.99 |
| Brea is getting more playing time throughout conference play with Malachi Smith and RJ Blakney dealing with injuries. He put up 22 DK across 31 minutes last game with Smith out and Blakney only playing six minutes. Brea is averaging 19 DK over the past 10 games with DFS production across multiple stat categories and is a great value tonight in a pace boost for Dayton – especially if Smith is out again. | ||||
| Ali Ali | BUTLE | XAV | 4400 | 11.98 |
| Ali isn’t a flashy DFS value play, by any means, but his playing time and DFS production have picked up lately with Chuck Harris sidelined. Ali has logged 30+ minutes in back-to-back games with Harris out and Butler rolling with a tight rotation. He has 15 and 17 DK in these games, which isn’t great but it’s a decent floor for this cheap price. Tonight is also a pace-boost vs Xavier, so the 5x value is possible. | ||||
| Desmond Claude | XAV | BUTLE | 4000 | 10.78 |
| Claude’s playing time and DFS production have increased to a more consistent level with Zach Freemantle out. With Jerome Hunter now starting, Claude is Xavier’s main sixth man who’s now logging 30 minutes or so per game despite coming off the bench. He has 16 and 22 DK in the past two games and this 4k price tag is really cheap for the 4x or 5x value. Claude should be a popular value tonight. | ||||
Also Consider:
- Jake Heidbreder – Air Force ($5700) – GPP
- R.J. Blakney – Dayton ($5200) – GPP
- Donovan Yap – New Mexico ($3600) – GPP
CBB DFS Top Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Toumani Camara | DAY | STL | 8200 | 32.45 |
| Dayton’s offensive revolves mostly around its two bigs Toumani Camara and DaRon Holmes. Both are good plays tonight but Camara gets the slight nod for being a tad cheaper. He’s been a beast the last three games with 47, 35, and 53 DK including his 26 points and 15 rebounds last time out. Camara should post strong numbers in a pace-boost matchup at home vs Saint Louis. He’s averaging 15.5 PPG and 36 DK at home this season compared to 11.9 PPG and 27 DK on the road. | ||||
| Morris Udeze | UNM | AF | 7500 | 31.19 |
| Udeze has put up at least 30 DK in eight of the last nine games and is averaging a strong 15.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 34 DK over the past 10 contests. That production for $7500 is pretty attractive, so we should consider him a top forward play tonight. The New Mexico big man was impressive against Air Force recently with 15 points, eight boards, three blocks, and 36 DK. | ||||
| Will Baker | NEV | FRES | 7100 | 22.4 |
| Baker is an up-and-down DFS play, but we’re targeting his stark home/road splits tonight. The Nevada big man is averaging 17.8 PPG and 28 DK at home this season compared to just 9.0 PPG and 16 DK on the road. That’s a huge difference and it’s been evident lately as Baker’s scored 17, 19, 28, and 24 points in the past four home games with 26, 29, 39, and 37 DK in those contests, respectively. With Nevada at home tonight in an easier matchup vs Fresno State, let’s roll with Baker. | ||||
| Simas Lukosius | BUTLE | XAV | 6800 | 22.64 |
| If Chuck Harris sits out again tonight, then the Butler offense will revolve heavily around Lukosius and Jayden Taylor. That’s been the case the past two games with Harris out. As for Lukosius, he’s seen 28% and 25% usage rates in the two games without Harris as he’s playing a point-forward type of role. He’s put up 30 and 25 DK with a strong DFS floor in these contests too. Butler gets a pace-boost matchup at home tonight, so don’t overlook Lukosius and/or Taylor if Harris is out. | ||||
Also Consider:
- DaRon Holmes – Dayton ($8700) – Cash/GPP
- Rytis Petraitis – Air Force ($7600) – GPP
CBB DFS Value Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Jerome Hunter | XAV | BUTLE | 5900 | 13.8 |
| If you’ve been playing CBB DFS over the past week, you know Hunter is a strong value now with Zach Freemantle sidelined. He’s put up 22 and 28 DK in the past two games since entering Xavier’s starting lineup the past two games in Freemantle’s absence. Hunter is playing 30+ minutes in a very tight rotation, so his DFS floor is better than you’d think. He’s priced up a bit now, but it’s still a good value under 6k. | ||||
| Terrence Hargrove Jr. | STL | DAY | 5200 | 13.36 |
| Hargrove is averaging 18 DK over the past 10 games since entering Saint Louis’ starting lineups. That includes 20+ DK in four of the last six contests. It’s nothing huge, but Hargrove is a solid value for this price tag – especially on this small slate without many trustworthy values for cash. | ||||
| Beau Becker | AF | UNM | 4700 | 13.96 |
| Air Force rolls out a very deep rotation with DFS and real-life production changing from game to game – so it’s tough to fully trust any of these guys. One cheap option, though, is Becker as he’s started the past nine games. The sophomore wing has 21+ DK in four straight games, including his 12 points and 21 DK vs New Mexico a couple of weeks ago. His 24% shot rate during conference play is also second on the team behind only Jake Heidbreder. | ||||
Also Consider:
- Mustapha Amzil – Dayton ($5700) – GPP
- Javonte Perkins – Saint Louis ($5700) – GPP
- Eduardo Andre – Fresno State ($5100) – GPP
CBB DFS Core Plays
