Darius McGheeLIBNW820032.81
McGhee is back for another season as Liberty’s alpha playmaker in a high-usage role. He’s seeing a whopping 38% usage rate and 43% shot rate this season, which keeps his DFS floor and ceiling higher than most on a regular basis. He has 42 and 44 DK the last two games with 27 and 29 points scored, respectively, and 20+ shot attempts in both. We can roster in cash despite playing in a lower-scoring matchup.
Judah MintzSYRSTJN800030
Mintz did his thing last night with 16 points and 31 DK. He’s now scored at least 16 in every game this season and has 30+ DK in three straight. The freshman is a top playmaker for Syracuse along with Joseph Girard and both are great plays in a pace-boost matchup with St. John’s tonight.
Baylor ScheiermanCREARK760029.05
Scheierman showed off his stat-stuffing DFS ceiling yesterday with 34 DK and a double-double. Weirdly enough, he’s seen a price decrease from $8000 despite the good performance. Expect him to be heavily involved on offense and as a rebounder in this marquee matchup with Arkansas, especially with a pace-boost environment for Creighton. You can roster in cash or GPP and feel pretty good about it tonight.
Ricky Council IVARKCRE720031.25
If Nick Smith remains out tonight for Arkansas, then Council should continue being a great DFS play. The Wichita State transfer has been benefiting directly from Smith’s absence and he’s actually been Arkansas’ top overall player so far. Council has at least 27 DK in each game and just went for 15 points, 30 DK, and plenty of ancillary stats yesterday. If Smith is back, then downgrade Council. You can also look at Anthony Black as a top play if Smith remains out.

Also Consider:

  • Posh Alexander – St. John's ($8100) – GPP
  • Boo Buie – Northwestern ($7100) – Cash/GPP
  • Andre Curbelo – St. John's ($6500) – Cash
  • Jarod Lucas – Nevada ($6200) – Cash/GPP

Chase AudigeNWLIB610029.88
Boo Buie is also a good play for Northwestern, but Audige is a bit cheaper for similar production. The senior fills up the stat sheet in multiple ways for a great cash floor and isn’t too reliant on scoring. He has 29 DK or more in three of four games and just put up 33 DK last game despite only scoring seven real points. We’ll take that all day at this affordable price tag.
Lamont ButlerSDSUARIZ590026.31
Butler is a very solid cash play tonight. First off, the San Diego State players will benefit a ton DFS-wise from the uptempo environment and pace-boost matchup against Arizona here. Butler has at least 24 DK in every game this season and is playing a key role in the Aztecs’ backcourt that becomes even more important tonight. It’s not a flashy pick, but Butler can be reliable in cash.
Courtney RameyARIZSDSU530027.5
Ramey returned from suspension last night and immediately slotted into Arizona’s starting lineup. The Texas transfer had 17 points and 27 DK in 26 minutes while being active on both ends right away. That’s a great sign for someone who’s expected to fill the shoes of Bennedict Mathurin and Dalen Terry in the Arizona backcourt this year. This is a great price for Ramey and he makes for an excellent cash salary-saver.
Brody PeeblesLIBNW410022
McGhee is the clear headliner for Liberty, but Peebles is worth a look at his cheap price. The sophomore comes off the bench but has a 28% shot rate, trailing only McGhee for the team lead. He just scored 24 points and 32 DK last time out and has that upside if he gets hot from three. It’s risky without much ancillary stat production, but the GPP potential to smash value is there.

Also Consider:

  • Khalif Battle – Temple ($5800) – GPP
  • Ty Berry – Northwestern ($5500) – Cash

David JonesSTJNSYR910035.75
Jones continues to get it done for St. John’s with 36 DK and a filled up stat sheet last night. He’s now averaging 17 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 35 DK per game this season with consistent production. We can go right back to Jones tonight in a high-scoring matchup with Syracuse.
Tyler BurtonRICHTEMP900035.55
Burton was a great play last night with his 37 DK thanks to 13 points and 15 rebounds. We can go right back there because Richmond’s best player is locked into a high-usage role with a heavy volume of shot attempts. Even in a lower-scoring game against Temple, we can bank on Burton anchoring cash lineups with 30 DK or so each time out.
Arthur KalumaCREARK720025.35
Kaluma gets a price decrease all the way down to $7200 despite being $700 more yesterday and up in the 9k range a week ago. We’ll gladly take the discount for a guy that’s put up 31 and 28 DK the last two games, including a team-high 18 points yesterday vs. Texas Tech. The sophomore forward leads Creighton’s regulars in usage rate (28%) and shot share (29%) this season. He’ll benefit from a pace-boost against Arkansas where his versatile scoring ability will be needed.
Oumar BalloARIZSDSU680037.75
Ballo hasn’t necessarily gotten the same national recognition of Azuolas Tubelis, Kerr Kriisa, or Pelle Larsson, but he’s been a monster for Arizona so far. The 7-footer is dominating down low as the direct replacement for Christian Koloko of last year’s squad. Ballo has at least 16 points, eight rebounds, and 35 DK in every game thus far and he just went for a 21-point double-double and 37 DK last night. You can also look at Tubelis, but Ballo is notably cheaper for similar DFS production.

Also Consider:

  • Jesse Edwards – Syracuse ($8900) – GPP
  • Keyontae Johnson – Kansas State ($8300) – Cash
  • Joel Soriano – St. John's ($7900) – GPP

CBB DFS Value Forwards

Jamille ReynoldsTEMPRICH610026.9
Reynolds proved to be a great value last night with 21 points, eight rebounds, and 31 DK at just $5700. Let’s run it back at his still-affordable price tag just over 6k. The Temple center has now put up at least 27 DK in four straight games with double-digit shot attempts, 7+ rebounds, and 14+ points scored in each. The heavy usage and shot volume are there and shouldn’t go away tonight with how good he's been in the post.
Jaedon LeDeeSDSUARIZ510022.19
LeDee only gave us 15 DK last night as a value, but we can roll him out again at a slight price decrease. The San Diego State big man not only gets a major pace-boost against Arizona, but his size and post presence will be needed against Zona’s frontcourt duo of Tubelis and Ballo. If he can stay out of foul trouble, LeDee has the upside to smash value like when he went for 23 points and 33 DK against BYU earlier this season.
Benny WilliamsSYRSTJN500018.75
Williams was a value for us yesterday but only put up 16 DK. Still, we’re going back to the well because he gets a major pace-boost matchup against St. John’s with more rebounding and ancillary stat opportunities. It’s encouraging that Williams logged 40 minutes last night in Syracuse’s tight rotation, which keeps his floor higher than most.
Matthew NicholsonNWLIB420020.19
Nicholson doesn’t start for Northwestern, but he usually does just enough to return value at this sub-5k price tag. The 7-footer has at least 16 DK in all four games thus far and is averaging 20 DK per game despite only logging 15-20 minutes each contest. He can do enough with rebounding, blocks and other stats to be a decent cash value.

Also Consider:

  • Robbie Beran – Northwestern ($5600) – Cash
  • Will Baker – Nevada ($5500) – GPP
  • Tre Coleman – Nevada ($4400) – GPP
  • David N'Guessan – Kansas State ($4300) – Cash
