College Basketball CBB DFS Picks 3/4
CBB DFS Top Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Boogie Ellis | USC | ASU | 8700 | 30.54 |
| Ellis was excellent against Arizona on Thursday with 35 points and 44 DK. He’s now averaging 22.3 PPG and 36 DK over the past 10 games and has been a strong DFS play among expensive guards for the past month-plus. With USC vying for an at-large Tournament bid, Ellis should be active offensively once again tonight. Plus, he could take on more shot volume and usage tonight with Drew Peterson reportedly dealing with a back injury. | ||||
| Ryan Nembhard | CRE | DPU | 7300 | 25.35 |
| Nembhard tends to have his better DFS outputs in pace-boost environments like tonight vs DePaul. The Creighton point guard has put up stat-stuffing performances in recent high-scoring games with Marquette, St. John’s, and Providence. He’s also been slightly better on the road, averaging 13.8 PPG and 27 DK in away games vs 10.1 PPG and 24 DK at home. The price tag is pretty nice in the mid-7k range for his upside. | ||||
| Desmond Cambridge Jr. | ASU | USC | 7100 | 26.42 |
| Since Cambridge “only” had 10 points and 21 DK last game, he’s at his cheapest price since late January. It’s an overreaction to a guy that had 32+ DK in three of the previous four games and is averaging 15.8 PPG and 29 DK over the past 10 games. Cambridge went for 17 points and a stat-stuffed 35 DK vs USC earlier this season and can do it again tonight with Arizona State needing a win to get off the bubble. | ||||
| Tyger Campbell | UCLA | ARIZ | 6900 | 25.18 |
| Campbell is back to producing like the stud DFS guard we’ve seen in the past. He has 32+ DK in three straight games entering tonight with 18, 14, and 18 points scored in those outings. There was a recent slump for Campbell, but it’s encouraging to see him more active as a scorer in this homestretch of the regular season. At sub-7k, he’s still a good bargain for 30+ DK and similar DFS production as those guards priced higher. | ||||
Also Consider:
- Baylor Scheierman – Creighton ($8600) – GPP
- Jaylen Clark – UCLA ($7600) – GPP
- Courtney Ramey – Arizona ($7200) – Cash
- Justin Moore – Villanova ($6200) – Cash/GPP
CBB DFS Value Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Trey Wertz | ND | CLEM | 5700 | 18.82 |
| With JJ Starling sidelined the past two games, Wertz has 28 and 31 DK while back in a starting role and logging 35+ minutes in both. He’s averaging 13 points, 6.5 rebounds, and five assists in these past two contests and should continue filling up the stat sheet again if Starling sits another tonight. Wertz is still cheap enough to consider a value. | ||||
| Reese Dixon-Waters | USC | ASU | 5600 | 17.23 |
| Dixon-Waters has been a strong value ever since he returned from a four-game absence in February. The guard may be coming off the bench, but he’s logging starter-level minutes and has scored in double figures in three of his last four games back. Dixon-Waters has 20, 25, 16, and 28 DK in these past four contests and was good against Arizona on Thursday with 17 points on 15 shot attempts. | ||||
| Dexter Akanno | ORST | CAL | 4100 | 14.49 |
| Usually we just cross off Oregon State for DFS, but not when it’s rarely playing a worse team. The Beavers beat Cal by 20 on the road earlier this season and Akanno was one of the best players in that game with 16 points and 25 DK. Though Akanno has been very inconsistent and normally bad for DFS this season, there’s upside in this matchup. Plus, he’s recently moved back into the Oregon St starting lineup with 24 and 13 DK in the past two games as a starter logging more minutes. | ||||
| Jamiya Neal | ASU | USC | 3300 | 11.17 |
| Neal has seen an uptick in minutes in the past two games with Austin Nunez sidelined, which puts him in play as a GPP value. Neal has logged 27 and 20 minutes in the past two, which is his most playing time since late-January. He went off for 31 DK and a filled-up stat sheet vs Arizona two games ago, which is a good look at his ceiling. That DFS output at sub-4k is a massive bargain. For what it’s worth, Neal had 15 DK vs USC earlier this season. | ||||
Also Consider:
- Dashawn Davis – Mississippi State ($5800) – Cash
- Marcus Hammond – Notre Dame ($4600) – GPP
- Trey Thomas – Vanderbilt ($3900) – GPP/Cash
- Kylan Boswell – Arizona ($3400) – GPP
- Jalen Terry – DePaul ($3400) – GPP
CBB DFS Top Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Jaime Jaquez Jr. | UCLA | ARIZ | 9900 | 35 |
| If you have the salary to fit him in, Jaquez is always a safe cash play with plenty of GPP upside too. His DFS floor/ceiling combo gets raised even more in a pace boost matchup against Arizona with UCLA motivated to win and grab a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Jaquez is averaging 19.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 37 DK over the past 10 games. He had a double-double and 37 DK vs Arizona earlier this season. Expect another good performance tonight. | ||||
| Tolu Smith | MSST | VAND | 8000 | 30.01 |
| Smith should have an advantage inside tonight with Liam Robbins out for Vanderbilt. When Robbins was out earlier this season, Vandy’s interior defense struggled a ton and opposing bigs had plenty of success offensively down low. Smith will have a notable talent advantage in the paint here. Plus, the Mississippi St big man is playing well lately with at least 27 DK in five straight and averaging 17.4 PPG with 34 DK over the past 10 games. | ||||
| PJ Hall | CLEM | ND | 7900 | 26.72 |
| The Clemson big man is on a roll right now, averaging 18.3 PPG and 34 DK over the past 10 games. He’s been a strong DFS cash play during this stretch and that continues tonight at his cheapest salary in over a month, for whatever reason. We should pounce on this discount in a favorable home matchup vs Notre Dame where Hall should dominate per usual. | ||||
| Nick Ongenda | DPU | CRE | 7700 | 34.3 |
| Ongenda has been a beast for DFS since returning from injury in mid-February. The DePaul center has at least 27 DK in all five games played so far and he’s averaging 34 DK per game overall with a whopping five blocks-per-game average. Even though DePaul is losing every game, Ongenda is still getting his numbers and he just did it last game vs UConn’s Adama Sanogo. Tonight, Ryan Kalkbrenner shouldn’t slow him down too much on Senior Night. | ||||
| Eric Dixon | VU | UCONN | 7300 | 28.78 |
| Dixon has come on strong for Villanova in the past month. He’s scored at least 18 points in four of the last six games and has 38 and 40 DK in the past two contests. Overall, he’s averaging 16.4 PPG and 30 DK over he past 10 games while playing with a lot more confidence offensively. Dixon is at a nice price point to roster in GPPs with Hall and Smith likely more popular tonight. | ||||
Also Consider:
- Ryan Kalkbrenner – Creighton ($8500) – GPP
- Cameron Matthews – Mississippi State ($6600) – Cash
- Cam Whitmore – Villanova ($6400) – GPP
CBB DFS Value Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG |
| Adem Bona | UCLA | ARIZ | 6000 | 19.66 |
| Going up against Arizona’s frontcourt of Tubelis and Ballo is definitely a tough task, but that’ll make Bona a contrarian play on this slate. At 6k, he’s cheap enough to consider in GPPs for the 25-30 DK upside if he stays out of foul trouble and has a ceiling game. The pace boost vs Arizona definitely helps too. He had 11 points, six rebounds, and 23 DK in this matchup earlier this season. | ||||
| Joshua Morgan | USC | ASU | 5600 | 19.64 |
| Morgan doesn’t offer much upside in the value department, but he’s a decent cash bargain now that he’s back healthy and starting for USC. He’s put up 23, 15, and 27 DK in the past three games and held his own against Arizona’s talented frontcourt on Thursday. In the mid-5k range, Morgan might be the best forward value on the slate. | ||||
| Quentin Millora-Brown | VAND | MSST | 3500 | 10.84 |
| Millora-Brown likely moves into Vandy’s starting lineup now with Liam Robbins out. The senior big man started a bunch of games earlier this year, so it’s a role he’s used to. After Robbins exited early last game, Millora-Brown had 10 points, six rebounds, and 20 DK with the increased playing time. He had some 15-20 DK games when Robbins was out previously this season and could easily return value tonight at a dirt cheap price. | ||||
Also Consider:
- Jordan Wright – Vanderbilt ($5900) – GPP
- Ven-Allen Lubin – Notre Dame ($5100) – GPP
- Myles Stute – Vanderbilt ($5000) – Cash/GPP
- Tyler Bilodeau – Oregon State ($4400) – GPP
