CBB DFS Top Guards

Chase AudigeNWDPU800029.58
Both Audige and Boo Buie are good plays on this slate in a pace-boost matchup against a depleted DePaul squad. People may opt for Buie since he’s cheaper, but there’s more volatility there if he’s not making shots. Audige will provide a safer cash floor with his stat-stuffing ability in literally stat category, especially defensive stats. He’ll produce enough across the board to be a perfectly fine cash play while benefiting from the faster tempo than Northwestern usually plays at.
Caleb LoveUNCOSU730031.14
For whatever reason, both Caleb Love and RJ Davis are at season-low prices on DK this weekend. The UNC guards should both exceed their discounts in a high-total matchup with Ohio State on a neutral floor. Love is particularly attractive with a top-tier DFS ceiling when he gets hot from three-point range. He has a knack for showing up in big games and could easily be a top overall scorer on this slate.
D'Moi HodgeMIZZUCF720032.65
We haven’t had Missouri on the slate much this season because they’ve only played a couple of real teams. In the matchup last game vs. Kansas, Hodge proved his hot start was legit when he put up 30 DK with 15 points and seven rebounds despite Mizzou getting blown out. He also had 19 points and 36 DK vs Wichita State recently. The Cleveland State transfer leads Mizzou in shot rate and is averaging 16.5 PPG with 32 DK per game this season. This is a good price for GPP upside and people will overlook him.
Mark SearsBAMAGONZ670026.3
Sears is a bit expensive to play in cash, but he has GPP upside in this high-scoring and uptempo matchup with Gonzaga. He’s scored 18+ real points in three of the last four games and can go off for 30-40 DK at his best when he’s hitting threes. That’s very possible against a Gonzaga team that’s struggled defensively at times this season when facing top-tier teams.

Also Consider:

  • Kevin McCullar – Kansas (Cash)
  • Boo Buie – Northwestern (GPP)
  • RJ Davis – UNC (Cash)
  • CJ Kelly – UCF (GPP)

CBB DFS Value Guards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPG
Darius JohnsonUCFMIZZ580021.85
Johnson is right on the fringe of being a value, but he’s cheap enough to get 25-30 DK and pay off. After being sidelined at the beginning of the season, he’s now started the past two games and with double-digit shots taken in three of the last four contests. That higher usage and shot volume has made Johnson a much better DFS play. UCF and Johnson will benefit from a major pace-boost against Mizzou.
Jaden BradleyBAMAGONZ520017.8
Bradley moved into Alabama’s starting rotation last game with Nimari Burnett now out indefinitely. He put up 19 DK across 22 minutes but would’ve done more if he wasn’t in foul trouble. Bradley’s cash floor will be perfectly fine at this price tag in a high-scoring, fast-paced matchup with Gonzaga. He should provide 5x value or better.
Daivien WilliamsonWAKERU480015.5
Williamson moved back into the starting lineup last game and put up 20 DK with double-digit shot attempts across 36 minutes. He’s now more important to Wake’s backcourt with Tyree Appleby doubtful to play and Damari Monsanto’s status up in the air after he sat out the last game. It’s risky because Williamson has been very volatile this season, but the usage and shot volume should be there if Appleby is out.
Ryan DunnUVUH340010
If Reece Beekman is out, then it’s likely Isaac McKneely or Ryan Dunn who enter Virginia’s starting lineup. Dunn had 16 DK in 19 minutes after Beekman left the last game early. McKneely played 26 minutes but only put 10 DK since he went 1-for-6 from the field. Both are GPP options if Beekman is out with his hamstring injury.
Ahamad BynumDPUNW32007.81
With Jalen Terry out last game, Bynum actually ended up being more productive off the bench than starter Zion Cruz. He had eight points, four rebounds, and 15 DK over 21 minutes while Cruz struggled with only five DK and 0-for-4 shooting in 18 minutes. Terry is a game-time decision and could easily sit out again. Both Cruz and Bynum are in play if that’s the case, but the latter seems like the better dart throw considering their performances last game.

Also Consider:

  • Malachi Smith – Gonzaga (GPP)
  • Trey Galloway – Indiana (Cash)
  • Dre Davis – Seton Hall (GPP)
  • Noah Locke – Providence (GPP)

CBB DFS Top Forwards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPG
Drew TimmeGONZBAMA1010038.02
We probably have to choose between Drew Timme and Jalen Wilson, but you really can’t go wrong with either one. By now you know what Timme gives you and he now gets to play in a high-scoring matchup with an Alabama team with a below-average interior defense. Timme is running hot right now with 60, 43, and 38 DK in his last three games with at least 22 points scored in seven of 11 contests so far.
Jalen WilsonKUIU1000042.35
Wilson is expensive, but he’s been worth it all season long. Kansas’ wing playmaker is averaging 22.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 42 DK this season and has at least 36 DK in all but one contest so far. His scoring and shot volume are consistent and he’s a candidate for double-digit rebounds any time out. Kansas will need him to be active on both ends as a scorer and rebounder against Indiana, so bank on him anchoring cash lineups.
Brandon MillerBAMAGONZ850035.75
Miller was awesome this week against Memphis when he went for 46 DK thanks to his 24 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two blocks. Really, the freshman has been a stud all year while averaging 18.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 35 DK per game. His price tag is actually “affordable” considering the high-scoring matchup with Gonzaga and compared to other top forwards on this slate. Unless the Zags sell out to shut him down, then Miller should be a top play overall at this price.
Zed KeyOSUUNC770029.5
Opposing bigs have killed North Carolina this season and Zed Key should have a ton of success in this matchup. The Ohio State center went off for 22 points, 14 rebounds, and 45 DK against Rutgers last time out and he has legit 35-40 DK upside in this matchup. Limit exposure to GPPs since we have seen some floor games from him, but the evidence tells us that Key should put up big numbers vs UNC, just like the big men for Alabama, Indiana, and Virginia Tech earlier this season.

Also Consider:

  • Armando Bacot – UNC (Cash/GPP)
  • Taylor Hendricks – UCF (GPP)

CBB DFS Value Forwards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPG
Brice SensabaughOSUUNC590021.03
Sensabaugh has been a key contributor for Ohio State off the bench, but he’s now starting with Isaac Likekele out indefinitely. In his first start last game, Sensabaugh went for 24 DK in a season-high 31 minutes played. We should see him get 30+ minutes again with 25-30 DK. That’s a bargain at this sub-6kl price tag, especially in a high-total matchup with UNC.
Michael DurrUCFMIZZ510014.97
Durr gets a price increase after putting up 24 DK last game at just $4100. Even at this price, the UCF center is still a decent value in a pace-boost matchup and against an undersized Mizzou frontcourt. Hopefully he stays out of foul trouble and dominates the paint for another potential 5x return.
Noah GurleyBAMAGONZ400012.7
Gurley has been very up-and-down this season, but the 20 DK potential is there in this uptempo matchup with plenty of rebounding opportunities. The big man comes off the bench for Alabama, but he has the talent and veteran experience to give the Tide productive minutes and return value for GPP lineups. Gurley had 20 DK vs Michigan State and 24 DK vs UNC earlier this season.

Also Consider:

  • Miller Kopp – Indiana (Cash)
  • Rafael Castro – Providence (GPP)
  • Reggie Chaney – Houston (GPP)
