TOP GUARDS
Sincere Carry (Kent State) Opp BUFF ($7.7K)
The junior guard is trying to power his team into March Madness, then to a strong showing as a potential Cinderella. The Golden Eagles are the #2 team in a MAC and led by Carry who is averaging 18.7 points and can put up huge numbers on any given night- as we saw on February 22nd when he dropped 42 points against Ball State. Buffalo will push the pace tonight and with a team-leading, 26.9% usage and 28.1% shot rate Carry is in line for another big night.
Malique Jacobs (Kent State) Opp BUFF ($6.9K)
Carry and Jacobs are the leaders of a very good Kent State team. Jacobs is only 6’3” but leads the Flashes in rebounding (7.5) and is also Kent’s second-leading scorer (11.5). Buffalo is a decent offensive rebounding team but struggles on the defensive boards which should allow Jacobs and his 26.3% combined rebounding rate a few extra putbacks.
Other Top Guards
- Tevin Brown (MURR) $7.5K Cash/GPP * avg 13.6 ppg/26.10 DKFP last five
- Jalen Adaway (STBON) $6.6K Cash/GPP *37 mins with 17 ppg/32 DKFP last five
- Justice Hill (MURR) $7.0K GPP * 28.6% assist rate
TOP GUARD VALUES
Ronaldo Segu (Buffalo) Opp @KENT ($5.8K)
The senior point guard is one of the guys with a very good basketball IQ. It seems like he’s been running the Bulls offense forever and is having another great season averaging 15.1 points and 5.3 assists. Tonight is Buffalo’s MAC season finale and with teams jockeying for position in the conferences tourney, Segu is a player that you want to roster. With a 24% usage, 24.3 shot, and MAC leading 5.2 assists per game $5.8K is a near misprice tonight.
Maceo Jack (BUFF) Opp @KENT ($3.8K DK)
Not much of a ceiling here besides a big game (41 DKFP) against Eastern Michigan a few weeks ago but a high enough floor to keep Jack around 4-5X value tonight. Jack Plays 30 minutes and averaging 10.5 points and 5.9 rebounds last 10 games. Will be a chalky minimum-priced punt play tonight.
Other Top Guard Values
- VonCameron Davis G/F (KENT) $3.5K GPP Dart
- Trae Hannibal (MURR) $5.0K Cash/GPP
- DJ Burns G/F (MURR) $4.8K Cash/GPP
TOP FORWARDS
KJ Williams (Murray State) Opp SEMO ($8.6K)
The Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year has been DFS gold all season and is probably still $1K below what he should be. He just keeps getting better as the season goes on as evidenced by his last five games where he is averaging 23 points, 8.2 rebounds, 40 DKFP with a 33.74% usage rate. We do have some blowout concerns here but Murray State is trying to go undefeated in OVC play and Williams has been known to play deep into games no matter what the score is.
Jeenathan Williams (Buffalo) Opp @KENT ($6.7K)
Lock of the day at this soft price for Williams. Eight straight games of 28DKFP or more while averaging 20.1 pts, 3.6 assists, and 3.5 rebounds with a 28% usage rate over the last 10 games. He puts up an average of five three-point shots a game and makes a solid core with teammates Segu and Mballa.
Other Top Forwards
Josh Mballa (Buffalo) Opp @KENT ($5.9K)
Mballa has been playing his most consistent basketball in the last month and with the Bulls preparing for the MAC tournament it can’t come at a much better time. He is now second in the MAC in rebounding (8.3 per game) and fourth in the nation in offensive rebounds per game (3.73). He has five double-doubles in his last seven games and nine straight games scoring in double digits.
Other Forward Values
- VonCameron Davis G/F (KENT) $3.5K GPP Dart
- David Skogman (BUFF) $3.9K * 7.2 Reb with 24 DKFP last five
- DJ Burns G/F (MURR) $4.8K Cash/GPP
