TOP GUARDS

Jaden Ivey (Purdue) Opp IOWA ($7.8K DK/7.6K FD)

Legends are made in March and Ivey has all the makings of a superstar. A possible NBA Top 5 pick, Ivey has had a breakout season but there is room for much more – 17.2 points on 45.9% shooting, 4.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals for the #2 offense in the country. Highest implied total of the slate and game environment gives Ivey a leg up on Jacob Gilyard and Kyler Edwards for top overall guard.

Foster Loyer (Davidson) Opp RICH ($6.6K DK)

Loyer, a Michigan State transfer, has had an insane season at Davidson and it culminated with a big 21-point game in the semifinals against St. Louis. He was just named Second-Team All- Atlantic 10 as he leads the country in free throw percentage at 93.6% and was third in the country in three-point percentage with 45% while averaging 16.9 points and 3.4 assists a game. Richmond is ranked 219th in the nation in defending beyond the arc at 34.3% setting Loyer up for a nice diet of threes today.

Other Top Guards

Quenton Jackson (TA&M) $6.9K DK/6.8K FD  33 DKFP; 20.8 PPG; 27.7% usage last 5

Kyler Edwards G/F (UH) $7.5K DK/8.1K FD

Jacob Gilyard (RICH) $8.5K DK Highest projected scorer/highest salary

Taze Moore G/F (UH) $7.0K DK/7.1K FD

TOP GUARD VALUE

Alex Lomas (Memphis) Opp @UH ($4.9K DK/5.1K FD)

Lomax is coming off a 30 DKFP game in the semi’s yesterday against SMU. He was the glue man in the first half and kept Memphis in the game while others struggled and Jalen Duren sat with early foul trouble.  He is averaging 25 DKFP over his last four games and one of those included an eight point, three rebound, three assist and five steal (27 DKFP) showing against todays final game opponent- Houston. Too cheap on both sites for a key payer that played nearly every minute in last nights close win.

Other Value Guards

Michael Jones G/F (DAV) $5.5K DK Avg 32 min/20 DKFP last five

Eric Hunter Jr (PUR) $4.6K DK/4.6K FD Avg 34 mins; 15 DKFP floor but no ceiling

Ramon Walker Jr G/F (UH) $3.0K DK/4.0K FD

Jordan Bohannon (IOWA) $5.1K DK/4.9K FD

TOP FORWARDS

Keegan Murray (Iowa)  Opp @PUR ($9.0K DK/9.5K FD)

One of the top 5 players in the entire nation is showcasing in the Big Ten tourney. He has played better each game and it culminates today against Purdue. He started with 31 DKFP against Northwestern and then a 41 DKFP showing in the Rutgers game and yesterday he put up 58 DKFP in a tight battle with Indiana. Murray is matchup proof and the only he doesn’t lead the slate in scoring would be early foul trouble.

Kyler Edwards G/F (Houston) Opp MEM ($7.5K DK/8.1K FD)

With Fabian White hurt, Edwards stepped up yesterday and led the Cougars to today’s final against Memphis. He had 20 points, with six 3-pointers, along with eight assists, seven rebounds and only one turnover. White is questionable today with a back that keeps tightening up on him and whether he is in or out, the veteran Edwards will be a key part of the contest. He smashed Memphis just a week ago in the AAC final regular season game scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and eight assists (44 DKFP) and could very well repeat that today.

Other Top Forwards

Trevion Williams/Zach Eedey Both are GPP due to only 20 mins but Iowa is weak inside (241st offensive rebounding in nation) and could nuke slate

Luka Brajkovic (DAV) $7.1K DK A-10 Player of Year

Josh Carlton (UH) $6.0K DK/5.9K FD Fouls keep him GPP only but can smash if White is out again

Grant Golden/Tyler Burton (RICH) Davidson is weak on offensive boards

Hyunjung Lee (DAV) $6.6K DK Touted as the Korean Stephen Curry; 24% usage/26% shot rate

TOP FORWARD VALUE

J’Wan Roberts (Houston) Opp MEM ($3.7K DK/4.1K FD)

Houston coach Kelvin Sampson said last night that back tightness may keep star Fabian White out of today’s AAC championship game. If he sits he will have at least four days rest before the Cougar’s NCAA Tournament opener. His back was still “locked” up after the game so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that White sits and Roberts get another 30 minutes of playing time. Sampson has been showing more and more faith in Roberts and it culminated yesterday when he played 34 minutes and scored 10 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for a double-double in the semi-final game. If White is unable to go Roberts will be a stone lock value at forward.
