TOP GUARDS
Kameron McGusty (Miami-FL) vs. DUKE ($7.2K DK/6.8K FD)
McGusty and the rest of the Miami guards are in a smash spot today as they get a pace-up game with Duke. Over the last 10 games, he is carrying a team-high 27% usage rate while scoring 17.3 points per game and over 30 DKFP. Price is reasonable to fire the Canes leader in all formats. Charlie Moore and Isaiah Wong also find themselves in great spots today and can be used in GPPs.
Jalen Pickett (Penn State) vs. PUR ($7.0K DK/8.2K)
Pickett’s on a heater right now and kept it going last night as he led the Nittany Lions in assists while finishing second in points (16) and rebounds (8) in a big upset over Ohio State. He scored 22 points against Minnesota in the opener and has played 40 minutes in three of his last four games.
Tonight, he faces a Purdue squad that he has already smashed this season when he scored 21 points, three rebounds, and 10 assists for 43.8 DKFP back in January.
Collin Gillespie/Justin Moore (Villanova) vs. UCONN ($6.9K/6.8 DK/6.3K/5.9K FD)
Do not let one game fool you. These two are still the leaders of the eighth-ranked adjusted offense in the nation. Gillespie (First Team All-Big East, 16.3 PPG) and Moore (Second Team All-Big East, 15.3 PPG) are both are in play again tonight and I have no problems going back to the well. These are two veterans that have been through the Big East wars, will have a chip on their shoulders after a mediocre game against St. John’s, and won't be intimidated by a good UConn defense.
Other Top Guards
- Armando Bacot G/F (UNC) $9.3K DK/8.5K FD Matchup proof; if you can get him in your lineup, he’s a top play but won’t come cheap
- Scotty Pippen Jr (VAND) $8.8K DK/8.4K FD
- Johnny Davis (WISC) $9.0K DK/7.6K FD 41 DKFP in each game against MSU
- Bennedict Mathurin (ARIZ) $7.5K DK/7.8K FD
- Charlie Moore (MIA) $6.6K DK/6.9K FD Love this as a GPP play
- Trevor Keels (DUKE) $6.5K DK/5.7K FD
TOP VALUE GUARD
Justin Kier (Arizona) vs. COL ($4.3K DK/4.5K FD)
Kerr Kriisa rolled his right ankle and is out for tonight and the Pac-12 conference championship game if the Wildcats advance. Enter sixth-year senior Kier to take over the point guard duties. Kier has started twice this season, once on Senior day and once in mid-January against Utah when Kriisa suffered an unspecified injury. He had six points, six rebounds, and eight assists against the Utes, and is a value lock on both sites at his current price.
Other Top Value Guards
- Pelle Larsson (ARIZ) $3.5K DK/3.8K FD Should see 25-28 mins tonight; in play in cash and GPP
- KJ Simpson (COL) $3.5K DK/5.7K FD His mins (17 mpg) are the only thing keeping him from being a top value- 30% usage when on the floor and coming off 34 DKFP against Oregon
- Caleb Daniels (VU) $4.9K DK/5.4K FD 19 pts last night starting for Samuels
- Max Christie (MSU) $4.1K DK/5.4K FD
- Eric Hunter (PUR) $4.3K DK/5.5K FD
TOP FORWARDS
Oscar Tshiebwe (Kentucky) vs. VAND ($10.1K DK/8.9K FD)
What more is there to say? He is matchup-proof and should be the anchor of every DFS lineup. The guy averages 19.2 points and 15.7 rebounds per game with an amazing 55% combined rebound rate. Even with Liam Robbins back (who cannot stay on the court anyway due to fouls), no one on Vanderbilt can cover big O. Lock button
Jabari Walker (Colorado) vs. ARIZ ($8.6K DK/8.4K FD)
There are some pay-up players in great spots tonight like Armando Bacot, Keve Aluma, John Harrar, and Justyn Mutts. Do not sleep on Jabari Walker, though. Two weeks ago, he smashed this same Arizona team with 15 points and 14 rebounds to record his 17th double-double of the season. This is a player with 27.5% usage, 27.4% shot, and 39% combined rebounding rates that will come in under-owned tonight that can win someone a GPP.
Ryan Kalkbrenner (Creighton) vs. PROV ($7.5K DK)
The Big East Defensive Player of the Year leads the Big East with 80 blocked shots (10th nationally) and is sixth in the conference with 8.0 rebounds per game. Providence is no pushover but is weak in defensive rebounding, which should allow a few put-backs by Kalkbrenner and his 15.7% offensive rebounding rate (15th in the nation).
Other Top Forwards
- Armando Bacot G/F (UNC) $9.3K DK/8.5K FD Matchup proof; if you can get him in your lineup, he is a top play but will not come cheap
- Keve Aluma (VT) $9.3K DK/7.0K FD
- John Harrar (PSU) $6.5K DK/6.9K FD
- Justyn Mutts (VT) $7.3K DK Do-it-All had another double0double last night
- Jalen Wilson (KU) $6.8K DK/6.0K FD
TOP VALUE FORWARD
Gabe Brown (Michigan State) vs. WISC ($5.4K DK/5.0K FD)
Value at forward tonight is severely lacking, so you need to look at the guards for solid plays under $5K. Brown is the closest it gets to value as he has been playing 30 minutes and has scored between 20-22 DKFP over the last four games. He should get 4X value tonight as the Spartans lean on experience against a tough Wisconsin defense.
Other Top Value Forwards
- Joey Hauser (MSU) $4.5K DK/4.2K FD
- Darius Maddox G/F (VT) $4.1K DK/3.2K FD
- Oumar Ballo G/F (ARIZ) $4.2K DK/4.6K FD
DRAFTKINGS CORE
- Kameron McGusty (Miami-FL)
- Oscar Tshiebwe (Kentucky)
- Justin Kier (Arizona)
