Before we get into the playbook, a quick note first on tonight’s slate. Unfortunately DraftKings and FanDuel couldn’t agree on all of the same games, so lineup construction and strategy will be vastly different depending on which site you’re playing.

The DK slate starts at 6 pm ET, features six matchups that aren’t on FD and then fails to include the 9 pm ET tips. Meanwhile, the FD slate doesn’t start until 7 pm ET and includes four games that aren’t on DK - highlighted by those later tips. So definitely pay attention to the games available on the site you’re playing on when reading through this playbook. Good luck!

Top Guards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
JD NotaeARKMISS810035.36830032.63
On a slate without many top-tier guards to choose from, Notae stands out at some affordable price points considering his recent production. The senior combo guard is averaging 19 PPG and 35 DK over the past ten games and he’s pretty much locked into 30+ DK and 15-20 points scored with consistently heavy usage and shot volume. The subpar Ole Miss defense shouldn’t slow him down much either.
Dereon SeabronNCSTND  810035.87
With NC State on the FD slate, Seabron should be strongly considered in all formats. The stat-stuffing wing continues to have one of the safer DFS floors with his high-usage role and production across the box score. He’ll benefit from the high-total environment at home here to give you 30-40 FD points in cash.
Jared RhodenSHUMARQ770030.06730027.35
Rhoden should be motivated for a big-time performance tonight after he only put up 18 DK against Marquette in the first meeting. In that road matchup, he shot it poorly and dealt with foul trouble. We’re banking on a bounceback tonight as Rhoden will see heavy offensive usage and shot volume with Bryce Aiken likely out. He had 35 DK last game and is averaging 31 DK at home this season.
Adrian Baldwin Jr.VCUDAV640027.67
The VCU-Davidson matchup may go overlooked on the DK slate, but don’t ignore Baldwin when building lineups. Since missing the first month of the season returning from an Achilles injury, the sophomore point guard has gotten into a groove in real life and DFS. He’s put up 33+ DK in three of the last four games and is still pretty affordable in the mid-6k range. Baldwin’s 45% three-point shooting during conference play gives him upside against a Davidson defense that’s struggled to stop the perimeter shot.
Taz ShermanWVUOU630029.68650027.15
In a low-total environment, Sherman may be a contrarian option for cash or GPP - but the affordable salaries are hard to ignore here. One thing’s for sure: Sherman will see heavy shot volume and usage as the go-to scorer for West Virginia. He’s put up 25-30 DK in three of the last four games and is on the positive end of his home/road splits - averaging 32 DK at home compared to 19 DK on the road.

Other Top Guards:

  • Colby Jones -- Xavier ($8,400 DK Only)
  • Santiago Vescovi -- Tennessee ($7,900 DK Only)
  • Kameron McGusty -- Miami FL ($7,900 FD Only)
  • Blake Wesley -- Notre Dame ($7,000 FD Only)
  • Tyson Etienne -- Wichita State ($6,400 DK / $7,400 FD)

Value Guards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Myles CaleSHUMARQ530019.73540018.81
Cale has taken on a larger offensive role with Bryce Aiken out and he’s still a great value in the mid-5k range on both sites. The fifth-year senior has scored 21 and 16 real points with 37 and 27 DK in the last two games with Aiken out. He’s now getting double-digit shot attempts - which was a rare occurrence beforehand - and should return cash value in this uptempo matchup vs. Marquette.
Jared BynumPROVXAV520020.07
The Providence point guard continues to be a great cash value as long as A.J. Reeves is sidelined and he’s priced in the 5k range. Bynum has 22+ DK in three straight games and six of the last seven coming into tonight. Besides Nate Watson, he leads the team in usage and shot volume during conference play and will be a key playmaker for Providence in this road tilt.
Au'Diese ToneyARKMISS490021.76490019.91
At sub-5k on both sites, Toney is a really solid cash value because of his consistent playing time against a below-average Ole Miss defense. Despite the Arkansas rotation and starting lineup changing nearly every game, Toney is averaging 31 minutes and 18 DK over the past ten and has now started five straight coming into tonight. He’s also put up 19, 30 and 22 DK over the last three contests with double-digit points scored in each.
Darius JohnsonUCFWICH430012.25520010.95
Johnson has been one of UCF’s best players over the past month or so and, assuming he keeps it up, the cheap price tags make him an attractive salary-saver. The freshman actually leads the team in usage rate during conference play and just entered the starting lineup last game - putting up 17 points and 33 DK with extended playing time and role. Johnson now has 20+ DK in four straight games.
Julian Roper IINWMICH380012.82
The freshman has seen an uptick in playing time lately and made his first career start last game with Ty Berry moving to the Northwestern bench. Not only did he start, but Roper logged 28 minutes while Berry only saw 12 minutes. This is now two games in a row that Roper has played more than Berry in the NW backcourt - and he’s put up 18 and 17 DK in these games. We’ll gladly take the 5x value or so at sub-4k salary.

Other Value Guards:

  • Caleb Houstan -- Michigan ($5,900 DK Only)
  • Luis Rodriguez -- Ole Miss ($5,300 DK / $5,200 FD)
  • Sean McNeil -- West Virginia ($5,100 DK / $6,000 FD)
  • Eric Gaines -- LSU ($5,000 FD Only)
  • Jermaine Cousinard -- South Carolina ($4,300 DK Only)
  • Kam Jones -- Marquette ($3,800 DK / $4,200 FD)

Trayce Jackson-DavisIUPSU900038.33840036.37
After a dud performance vs. Purdue, the Hoosiers’ big man bounced back on Sunday with his 34 DK vs. Michigan and hopefully he’s back to being a consistent DFS stud for us. TJD had 20 points and 36 DK in the first matchup vs. Penn State and could easily replicate those numbers at home tonight. It seems the recent hip issue is behind him, which makes him safer considering the good outing in the last game.
Hunter DickinsonMICHNW890034.28
After missing one game with an illness, Dickinson has now scored 20+ real points and 43+ DK in back-to-back contests and is back to being the dominant center we all know. He’s continuing to get heavy usage in the Michigan offense with inconsistent play around him - so at least we know most possessions will run through him down low. On the DK slate, he’s a pretty safe cash pay-up option.
Justin LewisMARQSHU880031.95820029.45
Lewis is coming off an excellent performance vs. Xavier on Sunday when he dropped 42 DK with 20 points scored and 13 rebounds. He’s been a DFS stud all season and that’s now three straight dominant games from the Marquette power forward - he had 35 and 36 DK in the previous two outings. Let’s hope for another strong performance in his high-usage role vs. Seton Hall - a team he dropped 18 points and 35 DK on previously.
Alexis YetnaSHUMARQ780022.98740021.64
When Yetna faced Marquette a few games ago, he put up 37 DK with 15 points and 16 rebounds. It’s tough to bank on a repeat performance in this rematch, but Yetna should dominate the glass against a poor rebounding team. Expect a bounceback from the Seton Hall big man after his dud effort vs. St. John’s on Monday. Another double-double and 30+ DFS points or more is certainly on the table.
Keve AlumaVTMIA  760028.06
Miami is the worst rebounding team in the ACC and struggles to stop opposing bigs. This puts Aluma in a great spot on the FD slate with the matchup advantage in the paint tonight. The VT big man could easily go for 30-35 FD points and a double-double to anchor your cash lineups at a solid price point.

Other Top Forwards:

  • Jaylin Williams -- Arkansas ($8,300 DK / $7,700 FD)
  • Vince Williams Jr. -- VCU ($7,700 DK Only)

  • Justyn Mutts -- Virginia Tech ($6,800 FD Only)

Greg LeePSUIU540017.43490016.03
Lee has been a solid value ever since he joined the Penn State starting lineup. The senior has put up between 17-22 DK in five straight games with his increase in playing time and role in the PSU frontcourt. Though he gets a tough matchup vs. Indiana’s big man duo tonight, the cash value is there if he can stay out of foul trouble.
Malik OsborneFSUGT  490022.39
Despite dealing with a recent ankle injury and scoring single-digit real points in five straight games coming into tonight, Osborne shouldn’t be this cheap on the FD slate. This is a great buy-low opportunity for a guy that can smash value in this matchup. Georgia Tech has arguably the worst interior defense in the ACC and is a poor rebounding team. Osborne can easily 5x his price tag.
Jason JitobohUFTENN45009.71
Jitoboh should make a third straight start at center with Castleton likely out again. The Gators’ big-bodied junior put up 25 and 21 DK in the last two games with Castleton sidelined and yet he’s still priced below 5k. Though Tennessee presents a tougher matchup, it’s hard to ignore his production with the increased playing time.
Uros PlavsicTENNUF41009.51
The 7-foot, 250-pound junior has started the last two games at center in place of John Fulkerson and he’s performed well in the increased role. Plavsic has 20 and 21 DK in these two starts with double-digit points scored in both. If he starts again, the cheap price tag may make him a chalky cash value on the DK slate.
Trey WadeARKMISS34007.6141006.97
With so many good values in DFS CBB lately, finding a way to differentiate your lineups has become increasingly important. Wade could be a way to do so at lower rostership on both sites tonight. The Wichita State transfer has started the last four games for Arkansas and he’s logged 30+ minutes in three of those. Though he’s not heavily involved offensively, the increase in playing time gives him a higher floor/ceiling than normal - and he put up 37 DK in one of these recent starts.
