Top Guards

Johnny DavisWISCMSU960039.55870037.01
With his 27 real points and 46 DK on the road at Northwestern last game, Davis continues to prove his “fade at your own risk” DFS upside. The Badgers’ breakout star deserves his expensive price tags and will be tough to fade on this short slate without many top-tier options at the guard position. Michigan State’s defense could pose more of a challenge, but Davis is averaging 23 PPG and 41 DK over the past ten games and could easily do so again.
Mark SearsOHIOTOL860034.33
Sears is Ohio’s offensive catalyst while running the point and boasting heavy usage, shot and assist rates. This high involvement gives him an excellent DFS floor as he’s averaging 21.4 PPG and 36.7 DK points over the past ten contests. Sears has been a stud lately with 41 DK or more in four of the last six and 32+ DK in seven straight. He’s a great cash play in a higher-total environment.
Ryan RollinsTOLOHIO720035.17
Rollins does it all for Toledo with a 29% usage rate, 30% shots share and plenty of ancillary stats every time out. He’s averaging 18.7 PPG and 35 DK over the past ten games and is coming off a massive 51 DK performance last time out. In the DK slate’s highest total, Rollins should be popular in cash at a notably cheaper price tag than other top guards in action.
Andre CurbeloILUMD630025.25610023.22
Curbelo returned to the court last game for the first time in nearly two months and he promptly put up 20 real points and 32 DK vs. Purdue. That’s a really good sign for someone who was viewed as one of the sport’s top breakout candidates before the season. Plus, he didn’t seem slowed by his lengthy neck/head injury as he logged 26 minutes off the bench and was plenty active offensively. Expect him to regain his starting role soon and he's more important to Illinois tonight with Cockburn out.

Other Top Guards:

  • Kyle Lofton -- St. Bonaventure ($7,900 DK Only)
  • Jaren Holmes -- St. Bonaventure ($7,500 DK Only)
  • Tim Frazier -- Illinois ($7,400 DK / $7,300 FD)

Value Guards

RayJ DennisTOLOHIO520025.68
Toledo has two cheap guards worth considering tonight as both RayJ Dennis and Ra’Heim Moss are solid values in the team’s tight rotation in a higher-total matchup. Dennis is averaging 25.8 DK over the past ten games as he stuffs the stat sheet while regularly logging 30+ minutes. He also has some three-point upside in tonight’s matchup.
Jackie Johnson IIIDUQSTBON410014.22
This is an interesting GPP value on this slate. The Duquesne freshman has started the last five games at point guard and his 26% usage rate and 27% shots share lead the team this season. He just put up 27 points/34 DK and 13 points/25 DK in back-to-back games before a down effort last time out - but the increase in playing time and role are a good sign of a bounceback tonight. The upside is there if you want to be different tonight.
Chucky HepburnWISCMSU360015.21410013.99
Unfortunately Hepburn doesn’t offer a strong floor, but he’s shown the GPP upside to put up 20 DFS points or close to it when he’s being more assertive offensively. The Badgers’ starting point guard at least plays 30 minutes per game despite taking a backseat usually to Davis and Wahl on the offensive end. If Michigan State focuses more on Davis/Wahl tonight, though, then Hepburn could be in line for a bigger role.
Leo ColimerioFRESNEV300014.18
This is one of the better values on the slate at a mispriced minimum salary. Colimerio is a regular starter on the wing for Fresno and he’s put up 14, 20, 23, 18 and 20 DK in five of the last seven games. Though he’s not heavily involved offensively, the 6-foot-7 sophomore can gather enough ancillary stats to return value in this pace-boost matchup.

Other Value Guards:

  • Da’Monte Williams -- Illinois ($5,800 DK / $5,300 FD)
  • Ra’Heim Moss -- Toledo ($4,800 DK Only)
  • Tyson Walker -- Michigan State ($4,800 DK / $4,900 FD)

Orlando RobinsonFRESNEV930039.59
On the DK slate, Robinson is the top pay-up forward with Cockburn out tonight. The Fresno State center boasts one of the best floor/ceiling DFS combos in the sport as he’s averaging 19 PPG, 8.7 RPG and 38 DK over the past ten games. Robinson has posted three straight double-doubles coming into tonight and had whopping DK totals of 58, 44 and 45 in those outings. He’ll benefit from the pace-boost matchup tonight, though there's some risk because he's going against Nevada's pair of 7-footers down low.
Osun OsunniyiSTBONDUQ820028.05
The Bonnies’ big man will have a significant size and skill advantage over Duquesne’s frontcourt tonight and it should lead to a solid DFS performance. Even though Osunniyi has failed to eclipse 30 DK in five of the last six games while taking a backseat to Lofton and Holmes, the GPP upside is proven like when he had 15 points, 15 rebounds and 46 DK a few games ago.
Jason CarterOHIOTOL780030.58
If you’re looking to mini-stack the Toledo-Ohio game, choosing between Jason Carter and Ben Vander Plas is a tough decision. For the $200 savings, Carter might be the better play on this slate for similar production. The Ohio big man will have a slight size advantage over Toledo’s frontcourt tonight and his 27% shots share leads the team during conference play. Carter is averaging a safe 28 DK over the past ten games and is a solid cash option in this higher-total matchup.
Tyler WahlWISCMSU760024.52790023.52
Wahl has been playing at another level lately with 32+ DK points in four straight coming into tonight while averaging 17.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals over this span. He’s settled into a nice secondary role behind Johnny Davis as Wisconsin’s other best player during Big Ten play. The only concern is an ankle injury, though he’s still expected to play tonight.

Other Top Forwards:

  • Gabe Brown -- Michigan State ($7,500 DK / $6,400 FD)
  • Donta Scott -- Maryland ($7,400 DK / $6,300 FD)
  • JT Shumate -- Toledo ($6,500 DK Only)

KC NdefoSTPNIA570025.31
Even though he’s playing in the lowest-scoring game of the slate, Ndefo is a bit underpriced for being the best overall player on Saint Peter’s. The senior wing leads the team in usage rate and assist rate during conference play and he’s been stuffing the stat sheet en route to a 27 DK average over the last ten games. He has 31+ DK in three of the last four, which we’d gladly take at this sub-6k price.
Malik HallMSUWISC450018.5530017.02
Hall has been a solid value for us all season and finally the sites have raised his price tag to a reasonable change. Even still, he’s a great salary-saver in cash since he’s basically locked in for about 18-25 DK with just enough production in multiple stat categories. He’s a versatile role player for Michigan State who can play multiple positions and Sparty will likely need him more tonight to help slow down Johnny Davis.
Will BakerNEVFRES390020.67
Though he has a tough head-to-head matchup with Orlando Robinson, the value is hard to ignore here with Will Baker. The Texas transfer is averaging 20.7 DK this season, 19.6 DK over the past ten games and has double-double upside with his 7-foot frame. The matchup vs. Robinson maybe puts him more as a GPP target, but he has 5x value at this cheap price.
Benjamin Bosmans-VerdonkILUMD30006.8535006.55
The big injury news for today’s slate is that Kofi Cockburn is out for Illinois with a concussion. So it means one or all of the Illini back-up big men get a big bump in value at their cheap price tags. We’ll have to see what the starting lineup looks like, but Bosmans-Verdonk saw 20 minutes and put up 14.5 DK last game vs. Purdue when Cockburn was out of the game in foul trouble. Meanwhile, Coleman Hawkins only played four minutes. That could obviously all change tonight, but the starting lineup should tell us more. Omar Payne is another cheap Illini big who could get more run.
Sam IorioNIASTP300018.14
Anyone care for yet another DK mispricing on a mid-major player? Iorio simply shouldn’t be min price tonight considering the senior is a regular starter who logs 24 minutes per game, averages 18 DK and can easily return 5x or 6x value tonight. Even though he’s playing in a low-total game, expect Iorio to be a popular salary-saver in cash.
