TOP GUARDS
Dereon Seabron (North Carolina State) Opp @DUKE ($9.3K DK/8.4K FD)
Seabron has always had an amazing ability to get to the rim and finish. Now as the primary ball handler he has developed as a passer which has really started to pay off for the NC State offense. Since ACC play began, he is averaging 4.8 assists and eight rebounds to go along with third best 19.8 scoring average. Tough matchup with Duke, but Seabron is the highest projected scoring guard of the slate.
Taz Sherman (West Virginia) Opp @KU ($7.1K DK/6.9K FD)
Sherman has been lighting it up all season and is the best scorer that WVU has had in years. He is averaging 20.3 points (19.3 on Big 12) and is one of the best scorers off the bounce in the entire country. A rule of thumb for an elite DFS play is usage and shot rates over 30%. Sherman comes into today’s game with a 30.0% usage and 31.9% shot to go along with 19.3% assist making him one of the better point per dollar guard plays in the upper price range.
Buddy Boeheim (Syracuse) Opp FSU ($7.8K DK/8.2K FD)
Boeheim and the Orange snapped FSU’s 25-game home winning streak in ACC play last month. Buddy had a poor game in that first contest when he scored six points on 3-for-10 shooting. Due to his streakiness, Boeheim is always more of a GPP play but when he’s hot, he can be the best shooter in the nation. He may be heating up too as he shot 7-of-13, including 5-of-8 from 3-point range against Pitt in his last game. May be a little risky but I will have a lot of Boeheim today as he has played every minute in three of the last four games and this is not a normal Leonard Hamilton-type FSU defense.
Other Top Guards:
- James Akinjo (Baylor) $8.1K FD - Top projected FD scoring guard
- Christian Braun (KU) $8.6K DK/7.2K FD
- Jared Rhoden G/F (SHU) $8.2K DK/7.6K FD
- Fatts Russell (UMD) $76.2K DK

- Anthony Polite (FSU) $6.6K DK/6.5K FD
VALUE GUARDS
Ryan Nembhard (Creighton) Opp @XAV ($4.0K DK/4.8K FD)
DraftKings misprice here for the true freshman point guard. Xavier defense is certainly no pushover but $4.0K is far too cheap for one of the best freshmen in the Big East that is playing 35 minutes a game with a 23.2 assist rate. He has been a $5.5K player for most of the season but the whole team struggled in their last game out against Villanova dropping salaries. Take the 23.50% usage rate and lock in Nembhard into your cash lineups.
Eric Gaines (LSU) Opp ARK ($5.3K DK/5.1K FD)
Xavier Pinson should be out again which means another big role for sophomore Gaines. When on the floor, Gaines has been the primary ball handler and earned a lot of trust from the coaching staff with a solid game in a hostile environment in Gainesville. He played 34 minutes and scored 14 points with four rebounds and two assists in the big win against Florida. This is a young player with a lot of promise that came up huge in the final minutes of the Florida game and now finds himself in a pace up environment against Arkansas.
Geo Baker (Rutgers) Opp @UMD ($4.7K DK)
Baker could get nothing going offensively against Penn State on Tuesday. He missed shots early and often and just had an all-around bad game- his worst since returning from the hamstring injury. He ended up with 7 points on 3-for-12 shooting (1-for-8 on 3’s) and finds his salary sitting at $4.7K. Take the value here and hope for a bounce back game from Rutgers third all-time assist leader.

TOP FORWARDS
Oscar Tshiebwe (Kentucky) Opp TENN ($9.6K DK/8.8K FD)
“Big O” is matchup proof and fade at your own risk. He has been an absolute beast for the Wildcats averaging 17 points, a nation leading 15.1 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals while shooting 62% from the field. Over the last two games, he is averaging 29.5 points,15 rebounds and has yet to foul out of a game. As an individual player, Tshiebwe has a higher offensive rebounding percentage than 30 other D-I teams and is looking to be the first player to average a 15-15 double-double over an entire season.
Colin Castleton (Florida) Opp @SCAR ($9.0L DK)
Castleton has been one constant in an otherwise season of struggles for the Florida Gators program. On Tuesday against LSU, he had a bad shooting night and to make matters worse he was double and triple-teamed when he had the ball in the paint. He still managed 19 points, nine rebounds and two blocks while drawing nine fouls from the LSU big men. Castleton leads the Gators in points (15.8), rebounds (9.2 - 2nd in the SEC) and blocks (2.4 - 3rd in SEC) and has one of the safest floors on the slate against a South Carolina team that he should dominate.
Jimmy Boeheim (Syracuse) Opp FSU ($6.1K DK)
We get to see Syracuse on another Saturday slate in an up-tempo game where both teams will be pushing the pace. With a 20.5% usage and 23.2% shot rate, Buddy’s older brother is second on the team in scoring with a 14.8-point average. With a 30 DKFP average over the entire season and playing nearly every minute, Boeheim comes in as a solid cash point per dollar play this afternoon against the Seminoles.

TOP VALUE FORWARDS
AJ Griffin (Duke) Opp NCST ($5.3K DK/5.6K FD)
Griffin is going to be a superstar. His season started slow with a preseason knee injury but that’s all behind him now and he is coming off his first career start on Wednesday night. By the way he played – 19 points and four rebounds - it looks like the starting gig is now his and the numbers support it. His offensive rating (a measurement of a players production capacity per 100 possessions) is tops in the nation among all D-1 players who take at least 20% of their teams’ shots with an unbelievable 139.8 mark. Griffin is here to stay and is the top forward value on the slate.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper (Marquette) Opp SHU ($3.9K DK/4.5K FD)
OMP is under $4K again and he will be right back in my lineup again. He was a bust last week when he was a top value due to foul trouble right from the opening tip and that may keep some DFS players off him today. With 26+ minutes in four of his last five games Prosper and double digit scoring in the three of them, look for Prosper to nuke his floor in a pace up game with with Seton Hall.
Trey Wade (Arkansas) Opp @LSU ($3.0K DK/4.6K FD)
Wade broke out against Missouri racking up 17 points, five rebounds, three steals and two blocks. If he starts again, he is a strong play at the stone minimum $3.0K. Coach Musselman went with a four-forward supersized lineup that included Wade in the last game against Missouri and it paid immediate dividends as Wade brought effort and energy to the court in the dominant 87-43 win. Musselman had surgery on his shoulder (ironically from when Wade fell on it back in December) and will not be coaching today so pay attention to our Daily Alarm CBB Discord room before the game starts whether or not Wade will be starting.
