Johnny DavisWISCOSU940039.73860037.32
Oh, is Johnny Davis on the slate? Then he’s automatically a top DFS play for us. That should be the mindset for a guy that’s taken the college hoop scene by storm and should be a considered a top cash or GPP play any time he’s in action. He dropped 24 real points and 43 DK on Ohio State in the first meeting on the road and can easily replicate or beat those numbers at home this time.
Alex BarcelloBYUGONZ860027.96700026.12
If BYU wants to keep it close against Gonzaga, it’ll have to do so via the scoring and playmaking prowess of Barcello. The senior has had plenty of experience playing against the Zags and he put together some good DFS performance last year vs. them. Barcello is an interesting high-reward GPP play on this slate and he’s a bit underpriced on FD.
Bennedict MathurinARIZCOL810033.4870030.58
If you haven’t watched Mathurin play basketball yet this season, go check him and Arizona out tonight. The guy has taken a massive leap and is now rightfully an NBA lottery pick. He’s a nightly threat to score 25-30 real points, stuff the stat sheet and throw down a couple huge slams. All in all, expect another stud performance from him as one of the late-night hammers for 40 or more DFS points.
Johnny JuzangUCLAORE740026.25620024.11
Even though he’s coming off a poor 15 DK performance vs. Cal last time out, expect a bounce-back from Juzang and the UCLA offense at home in a higher-total matchup this time around. Both sites have overreacted and priced Juzang down from his normal high-7k or 8k range. It’s a buy-low opportunity for us on a guy that can easily smash with 30-40 DFS points at his best.
Kevin McCullarTTUOKST680029.98730027.67
McCullar returned from a two-game absence earlier this week and went off for 33 DK and a stuffed stat sheet. It looked like business as usual for a guy that’s now put up 32+ DK in four of his last five games. The ankle injury didn’t limit him much in the game and he offers a strong DFS floor tonight - especially if Terrence Shannon remains out.

Other Top Guards to Consider:

  • Andrew Nembhard -- Gonzaga ($6,800 DK / $5,700 FD)
  • Kerr Kriisa -- Arizona ($6,400 DK / $6,400 FD)
  • Tyger Campbell -- UCLA ($6,300 DK / $7,500 FD)
  • Aaron Thompson -- Butler ($6,200 DK / $6,600 FD)

Rasir BoltonGONZBYU510019.38520017.58
Even though the Iowa State transfer isn’t normally the first, second or third offensive option for the Zags, Bolton is still plenty involved and will get around 30 minutes to return value. Putting up 20 DFS points or so is very reasonable in this high-total matchup and he’s a solid bargain at just over 5k. His team-best 43% three-point rate gives him upside as well.
Chuck HarrisBUTLEGU500018.62470017.24
Though he’s coming off the bench right now, Harris still leads Butler in usage rate (25%) and shots share (29%) when on the court. He’s been inconsistent in real life and DFS this season, but the upside is there for anyone facing the fast-paced Georgetown squad that struggles to defend the three-pointer. Why not take a chance on Harris at low rostership?
Adonis ArmsTTUOKST490019.17670017.47
FD has appropriately raised Arms’ salary, but he’s still too cheap on DK and could be a popular value over there. The Winthrop transfer has stepped up in a big way with Terrence Shannon and Kevin McCullar out lately. Even though McCullar has returned, Arms still put up 36 DK last game vs. Baylor and now has a higher floor with his increased usage. He really shouldn’t be sub-5k on DK right now.
Malaki BranhamOSUWISC480019.33630017.65
Like Arms above, Branham is another guy that’s a better play on DK than on FD for the nice value. There’s really no reason for Branham to be this cheap on DK. The freshman has taken on a much bigger role for the Buckeyes’ offensively and has the ball in his hands a ton while playing a two-man game with EJ Liddell. The guy has exploded for 46 and 44 DK in two of the last three games with a big increase in usage and shot volume.
Trey GallowayIUIOWA300011.65410010.94
After being out since mid-November with a broken hand, Galloway is now back and playing a key role off the bench for Indiana in the last two games. He’s logged 19 and 21 minutes with 21 and 12 DK points these past two outings, respectively. It’s a risky play because he’s still a bench option for Indiana, but there’s upside here in an uptempo matchup for someone that’s so cheap.

Other Value Guards to Consider:

  • Dalen Terry -- Arizona ($5,200 DK / $6,200 FD)
  • Rob Phinisee -- Indiana ($4,500 DK / $5,400 FD)
  • Clarence Nadolny -- Texas Tech ($3,900 DK / $5,700 FD)
  • Xzavier Malone-Key -- Oregon State ($3,300 DK / $4,100 FD)

Keegan MurrayIOWAIU950044.38850042.23
Murray seems a bit matchup-proof at this point with at least 20 points scored and 35 DK over the last five games while seeing heavy shot volume in the Iowa attack. His high usage and shots share keeps his DFS floor/ceiling among the best in the country. If any team would give him trouble, though, it might be Indiana’s frontcourt duo of Jackson-Davis and Thompson. Still, hard to fade a guy that’s been as good as Murray.
Trayce Jackson-DavisIUIOWA930040.08810038.11
Jackson-Davis has been a DFS stud all season and now gets a pace-boost matchup vs. Iowa. The possibility of a 20-point double-double and 40-50 DFS points is very real with the uptempo environment and how heavy the usage and shot volume is for TJD. Expect him to be more popular than Murray on this slate at some cheaper price tags.
Isaiah MobleyUSCORST890035.23800032.66
Most people will likely flock to Murray, Jackson-Davis or Timme/Holmgren as their pay-up forwards tonight, but don’t overlook Mobley too. Though Isaiah might not be as good as his brother Evan, he’s been just as dominant at the collegiate level this year for USC. Expect the Trojans’ big man to keep it going at home, where he’s averaging 40 DK and a double-double thus far.
Drew TimmeGONZBYU850029.02790027.26
Though Chet Holmgren has the higher DFS ceiling, Timme is the better play on this slate and he’ll cost you less. The preseason national POY candidate has stepped up and played his best games against tougher competition this season and this rivalry matchup vs. BYU certainly fits the bill. Timme’s veteran collegiate experience takes over as he becomes the focal point of the Gonzaga offense while Holmgren tends to take a backseat.
Christian KolokoARIZCOL750032.98840031.43
At his best, Koloko has the upside to smash the slate with 35-40 DFS points or more like he’s done in three of the last four games. If he dominates the paint on both ends, then he can easily be one of the slate’s best performers. Unfortunately, though, he carries some foul risk and it makes him tough to trust in cash. In GPPs, fire away!

Other Top Forwards to Consider:

  • E.J. Liddell -- Ohio State ($9,200 DK / $8,300 FD)
  • Race Thompson -- Indiana ($6,700 DK / $6,500 FD)
  • Bryce Nze -- Butler ($6,400 DK / $5,500 FD)

Kevin ObanorTTUOKST500017.88490016.42
Even in a low-total game, Obanor tends to do just enough in ancillary stats to be DFS-relevant. The Oral Roberts transfer is Tech’s starting power forward and is locked into more playing time than most of the bigs on the roster - especially Marcus Santos-Silva. It’s definitely risky in a low-scoring environment, but Obanor could be a nice bargain at 5k.
Collin HollowayGUBUTLE420016.33500015.01
The sophomore stepped into a starting role last game with Donald Carey out and he smashed the slate with 33 DK at only $3800 on DK. Even though his salary has gone up a bit, it’s still a great value for someone who took on a ton of offensive usage and production in Georgetown’s tight rotation. The chance at 4x or 5x return is definitely there again tonight if Carey remains out.
Roman SilvaORSTUSC400010.64530010.18
Silva is by no means a flashy DFS play, but he’s playing well right now and we know his size will be needed against USC’s Mobley on the other side. The Oregon St center has 26 and 27 DK over the last two games since the team restarted play. That’s some good value at these depressed price tags if he avoids foul trouble.
Cody RileyUCLAORE340012.83500012.33
Riley is now back healthy after being out the last two months with a knee injury. He’s started both games since returning and just had 24 DK over 27 minutes last time out vs. Cal. FD has started to increase his price tag, but he’s still underpriced on DK and should be a popular value on there tonight.

Other Value Forwards to Consider:

  • N’Faly Dante -- Oregon ($5,700 DK / $5,800 FD)
  • Anton Watson -- Gonzaga ($5,200 DK / $6,600 FD)
