Top Guards

Ochai AgbajiKUUT870032.33820029.70
Agbaji returned from a one-game COVID absence on Saturday and performed well against Baylor, scoring 18 points with 31 DK. That’s a good sign entering tonight’s toad matchup vs. Texas. The Jayhawks’ go-to scorer is averaging 20 PPG and 31 DK over the past ten games and should be active offensively - even in a tough matchup here. Without many top-tier guards in action, expect Agabji to be popular in cash.
Christian BraunKUUT850031.59680029.52
At some cheaper price tags than Agbaji - especially on FD - we could see Braun be chalky in all formats with his stat-stuffing ability. He’s coming off an 18-point, 37 DK double-double vs. Baylor on Saturday and owns a solid cash floor with his ancillary stats. He’s pretty much locked in for 25-30 DFS points nearly game and that won’t change tonight - even in a lower-scoring game overall.
Bennedict MathurinARIZASU750029.99
Mathurin has been oddly underperforming in real life and DFS lately with less than 30 DK in six of the past eight games. That won’t cut it when you roster him in cash at this expensive salary. However, the GPP ceiling and upside is always there for someone with his NBA-level talent in a high-scoring offense like Arizona. He’s an attractive contrarian play among the top-tier tonight - especially since he’s averaging 36 DK and 21 PPG on the road this season.
Marcus CarrUTKU630020.84630018.99
Carr has been a bit boom-or-bust all season, but the Longhorns’ point guard has upside to outperform his price tags tonight. He just dropped 33 DK last time out and has the talent to score 20 points with 35 DK on any given night. The only issue is sometimes he takes a backseat offensively for Texas - leading to dud outings. It could go either way tonight, but he’s worth a shot in GPP.

Other Top Guards:

  • Reece Beekman -- Virginia ($7,100 DK / $7,300 FD)
  • Damian Dunn -- Temple ($6,900 DK Only)

Value Guards

Dajuan Harris Jr.KUUT520016.26490015.23
Harris has been a value for us a ton this season and it continues tonight. With Remy Martin dealing with an injury and now sitting out, Harris is locked into playing time in the Kansas backcourt - keeping his DFS floor fairly safe. The matchup tonight is a bit tough on the road vs. Texas in a low-scoring game, but Harris should give you 20 DK or so with his cash floor of ancillary stats.
Jay HeathASUARIZ470017.66
The Arizona State rotation and DFS production is nearly impossible to predict game-to-game, but Heath is one of the Sun Devils’ more consistent players right now. The BC transfer is averaging 20.8 DK over the past ten games and is now logging more minutes with his recent starting role. Though he only had 15 DK vs. Arizona in the first meeting, the home environment could help to perform better this time.
Storm MurphyVTPITT460016.34
Virginia Tech just faced Pitt on Saturday and Murphy went off for 20 points scored and 32 DK. Though it was a bit of an outlier, Murphy also had 18 points and 29 DK the game prior - so he clearly has confidence with a recent uptick in shot volume. Let’s bank on that continuing at home tonight - but maybe limit exposure to GPP.
Jahlil WhiteTEMPUSF410018.52
The low total makes things tough, but White is way too cheap from Temple tonight. He’s averaging 24 DK over the past ten contests and has 28+ DK in four of the last seven. The freshman wing stuffs the stat sheet enough for a safe DFS floor even in a lower-scoring matchup here. Expect him to be popular in cash.

Other Value Guards:

  • Kihei Clark -- Virginia ($6,100 DK / $5,400 FD)
  • Andrew Jones -- Texas ($4,800 DK / $5,300 FD)
  • Nahiem Alleyne -- Virginia Tech ($4,200 DK Only)
  • Ithiel Horton -- Pittsburgh ($3,900 DK Only)

Paolo BancheroDUKEUV890035.61840033.06
Duke’s stud freshman has a proven DFS floor of 30 DK or more and he should still get there even in a pace-down matchup vs. UVA. He’s averaging 18 PPG, 9.7 RPG and 38 DK over the past ten games and hasn’t recorded less than 30 DK since mid-December. That consistency is why he’s so expensive now, but he’ll be worth it and likely popular in cash.
Christian KolokoARIZASU770031.4
At his ceiling, Koloko has shown he can go off for 40-50 DFS points when he’s dominating the paint on both ends. Unfortunately, though, he’s not consistent with these performances and can just as easily fail to eclipse 30 DK - which won’t cut it if you’re paying top dollar in your lineups. Still, he had one of those 50 DK performances vs. Arizona St not too long ago and will have an advantage down low against the smaller frontcourt.
Jalen WilsonKUUT740022.87700021.32
Wilson might be the most underrated KU player from both a real-life and DFS perspective. The guy fills up the stat sheet and has proven to be a reliable scorer at times to complement Agbaji/Braun for the Jayhawks. He’s been good lately, averaging 28 DK over the past ten games with a healthy amount of rebounds and ancillary stats - especially with Remy Martin sidelined.
Jayden GardnerUVDUKE710026.11810024.53
Even though he has a tough matchup vs. Duke’s frontcourt duo of Banchero/Williams, we should still get a solid cash performance from Gardner. In a major pace-boost environment, the UVA big man can give you 25-30 DK at an affordable price - though his DK salary is much better than FD. Considering the presence of Duke and Kansas on the slate, someone like Gardner could be lower rostered.

Other Top Forwards:

  • Wendell Moore Jr. -- Duke ($7,600 DK / $7,600 FD)
  • Keve Aluma -- Virginia Tech ($7,000 DK Only)
  • Azuolas Tubelis -- Arizona ($6,800 DK Only)
  • David McCormack -- Kansas ($6,300 DK / $6,400 FD)

Jalen GrahamASUARIZ580018.4
At sub-6k on the DK slate, Graham is still a bit underpriced considering how he’s been performing lately. The Arizona St big man has 35+ DK in back-to-back games and 29 DK or more in four of the last five. He owns the team’s highest usage rate during conference play and is stuffing the stat sheet as one of ASU’s more consistent players. Ironically he “only” had 21 DK in the first meeting vs. Arizona, but expect a better performance this time around.
Christian BishopUTKU460014.91510013.93
Many of Texas’ players are tough to trust in DFS, but Bishop is arguably the most consistent right now. He’s put up 19+ DK in four of the last six and has back-to-back 23 DK efforts coming into tonight. His minutes and role can be trusted a bit more since he’s joined the starting lineup and Dylan Disu/Tre Mitchell have seen a decrease in playing time. Texas will need his size and skill down low to contend with KU's David McCormack tonight.
Nick JourdainTEMPUSF440019.78
There’s a ton of value from Temple’s underpriced squad tonight, but Jourdain has no business being sub-5k on the DK slate. The freshman big man is not only averaging 23 DK over the past ten games, but he just put up 38 DK and a double-double last time out. He’s pretty much a lock for 4x value tonight - especially considering Temple’s slew of injuries. Zach Hicks is also a great value.
Francisco CaffaroUVDUKE330011.12460010.39
Virginia will need Caffaro and his 7-foot-1 frame to match up with Mark Williams down low tonight if it wants any chance at the upset. Ideally we get an uptick in playing time, but the backup center still does enough to be a decent cash value - especially at a cheap DK price tag. He’s shown 20-30 DK upside at times during conference play and could get there tonight.
