Top Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Posh Alexander | STJN | GU | 8900 | 32.99 | |||
| The St. John’s/Georgetown matchup is definitely one to target on the DK slate with a pair of fast-paced and poor defensive teams involved. For the Johnnies, it’s Alexander who’s been the DFS and real-life stud for them with Julian Champagnie underperforming lately. Alexander is averaging 33 DK over the past ten games and just went off for 29 real points, 12 assists and 56 DK last time out. He had a stat-stuffing 46 DK vs. Georgetown in the first meeting and could easily replicate that tonight. | |||||||
| Bennedict Mathurin | ARIZ | UCLA | 7900 | 31 | 8000 | 28.41 | |
| Even though Arizona lost by double-digits, Mathurin had a big performance vs. UCLA two games ago when he had 16 points, 10 rebounds and 37 DK. He was extremely active offensively and on the boards in that first meeting and we should expect him to be motivated to put on a show and lead the Wildcats to a win at home in this rematch. At some fair price tags among the top-tier guards, Mathurin is a solid cash stud tonight. | |||||||
| Andrew Nembhard | GONZ | SD | 7600 | 25.13 | 6800 | 23.20 | |
| Nembhard is always a DFS risk if he takes a backseat offensively to Chet Holmgren, Drew Timme or other Zags. However, the point guard has been very productive lately with 31 DK or more in four of the last five games. He can easily anchor your cash lineups and has tons of GPP upside - as evidenced by his 50 DK effort vs. BYU less than a month ago. His cheaper FD price tag should make him popular over there. | |||||||
| Jules Bernard | UCLA | ARIZ | 7300 | 25.28 | 6700 | 23.66 | |
| With Johnny Juzang returning from a two-game COVID absence and Jaime Jaquez dealing with an ankle injury, Bernard could take on more offensive usage and playmaking for UCLA tonight if both are a bit limited. Even so, Bernard has been a top DFS performer for the Bruins lately - averaging 25 DK over the past ten games and putting up 31+ DK in two of the last three. One of those came against Arizona in the first meeting when Bernard was a true difference-maker. | |||||||
Other Top Guards:
- Terrell Brown Jr. -- Washington ($9,300 DK Only)
- Will Richardson -- Oregon ($7,700 DK / $7,900 FD)
- Aminu Mohammed -- Georgetown ($7,400 DK Only)
- Drew Peterson -- USC ($6,800 DK / $7,300 FD)
Value Guards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| KJ Simpson | COL | ORE | 4900 | 14.68 | 5000 | 13.21 | |
| Simpson has been Colorado’s top bench player all season and one of their go-to offensive playmakers at times. The freshman entered the starting lineup for the first time on Sunday - with both Tristan da Silva and Eli Parquet out - and he put up 19 DK over 33 minutes. If both or either da Silva and Parquet are out again, Simpson would be a nice value again. | |||||||
| Nolan Hickman | GONZ | SD | 4300 | 13.7 | 4300 | 12.64 | |
| If you’ve read this playbook, you know we like to play Hickman when Gonzaga is expected to blow out its opponent. That’s the case tonight with the Zags favored by 20 on the road. The freshman usually gets more offensive usage and shot volume in the second half of these big wins and it can lead to 15-20 DFS points or so - which would be a solid value at these sub-5k tags. | |||||||
| Jake Kyman | UCLA | ARIZ | 3900 | 5.92 | 5000 | 5.60 | |
| Despite being buried on UCLA’s bench for most of this season, Kyman has stepped up the last two games with Johnny Juzang and Jaylen Clark out. He had 22 and 25 DK in these last two outings with an uptick in shot volume, offensive role and playing time. Clark remains out and Juzang is slated to return from his COVID absence, but Kyman could still play big minutes if Juzang is limited and if Jaime Jaquez is out/limited with his recent ankle injury. | |||||||
Other Value Guards:
- Pelle Larsson -- Arizona ($5,000 DK / $4,900 FD)
- Peyton Watson -- UCLA ($4,500 DK / $4,500 FD)
- David Singleton -- UCLA ($4,000 DK / $4,000 FD)
Top Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Isaiah Mobley | USC | IOWA | 9200 | 34.46 | 7900 | 32.16 | |
| Without Murray or Liddell on the slate anymore, Mobley is much more in play among the top-tier forwards. He’ll be the contrarian pivot away from the Gonzaga guys if for some reason you want to fade them. Even still, Mobley is good enough to give you 35-40 DFS points at his best - even though he only had 26 DK in the first meeting vs. Arizona State. That was a blowout win, though, so hopefully ASU keeps it close for Mobley to put up big numbers. His FD price tag is pretty appealing too. | |||||||
| Drew Timme | GONZ | SD | 9000 | 30.76 | 8200 | 28.86 | |
| If Gonzaga is on the slate, we’re always faced with the decision of whether to pay up for Drew Timme or Chet Holmgren - or both if you can fit them in. Can’t blame you for going with Holmgren because he has the upside to be the slate’s highest scorer. Tonight, though, seems better suited for Timme to be an offensive force inside against San Diego’s weaker interior defense. Timme scored 21 points in both meetings vs. this team last season. | |||||||
| Christian Koloko | ARIZ | UCLA | 8300 | 32.1 | 8000 | 30.49 | |
| Even though Koloko “only” put up 23 DK vs. UCLA in the first meeting, we should expect a much better performance in this rematch with Arizona likely being more efficient offensively. The Wildcats’ center had 50 DK last game and 42 DK three games ago - so we know the DFS ceiling is there for a guy who can go off for a double-double with multiple blocks in any scenario. | |||||||
| Jabari Walker | COL | ORE | 8200 | 28.58 | 7100 | 25.94 | |
| When Walker faced Oregon last week, he smashed the DFS slate with 43 DK points and a 24-point double-double. Expecting a repeat is a tough ask, but it’s a good sign that he had so much success in this matchup already. Walker is always a candidate to drop 30+ DFS points and a double-double when at his best - and the GPP upside is there to be among the slate’s highest scorers. His cheaper FD price tag is pretty affordable. | |||||||
Other Top Forwards:
- Chet Holmgren -- Gonzaga ($9,400 DK / $8,300 FD)
- Julian Champagnie -- St. John’s ($9,100 DK Only)
- Aaron Wheeler -- St. John’s ($6,300 DK Only)
Value Forwards
| Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG | |
| Andrej Jakimovski | WSU | STAN | 5100 | 15.07 | 6400 | 13.41 | |
| Considering price differential, Jakimovski is a much better value on the DK slate than on FD. He's been getting more playing time with an increased role lately with Dishon Jackson out and that should continue for another game or two. He’s also been asked to do more offensively in the frontcourt with TJ Bamba and DJ Rodman out at times recently. With 27, 32 and 34 DK over the past three games, he could smash DK value with one of those performances. | |||||||
| Lars Thiemann | CAL | UW | 4300 | 7.4 | |||
| On the DK slate, Thiemann could be a very nice salary-saver if Andre Kelly is out again. Kelly sat out Tuesday’s game with an ankle injury and Thiemann got the spot start - putting up 11 points, six rebounds and 19.5 DK across a season-high 32 minutes. Even with a slight price jump tonight, that would be good value if he starts again with Kelly out. | |||||||
| James Keefe | STAN | WSU | 4200 | 11.74 | 4700 | 11.05 | |
| Admittedly, there aren’t too many great value forwards on tonight’s slate. One sub-5k guy on both sites, though, is Keefe. The junior has been starting at center for Stanford since early December and the bigger role usually results in a decent floor of rebounds and ancillary stats - even though he’s not a top offensive option for the team. Keefe just had 21 DK last time out, had 18.5 DK vs. Washington St in the first meeting and has 15+ DK in five of the last eight. | |||||||
