TOP GUARDS

Armando Bacot (North Carolina) Opp NCST ($9.3K DK/8.3K FD)

I have idea why DraftKings has Bacot listed as a Guard only, but here we are. He is not the slam-dunk play that he was earlier in the season because teams have adjusted defensively towards him, but Bacot is still DFS gold. He's averaging a double-double over his last 10 games (14.1 Pts/14.0 Rebs) with a 38.8 DKFP average and 22.7% usage. NC State gets beat up inside and their defensive rebounding rate is one of the worst in the nation (30.7) – a perfect scenario here for Bacot and his 14.9% offensive rebounding (38th) and 30.9% defensive rebounding (8th).

Izaiah Brockington (Iowa State) Opp @KSU ($7.8K DK/7.9K FD)

I have been riding the Brockington train all season and won’t be getting off today. Brock has been elite all season and is showing no signs of slowing after a career night on Wednesday against West Virginia. The senior was everywhere and not only scored 35 points (most from an Iowa State player since 2016) but scored 10 of them in a row during a two-minute stretch when both teams traded baskets back and forth. At home, Kansas State will be no pushover today, but Brockington can get it done in so many ways (20.9% defensive rebounding rate) that he should continue his string of four straight 30+ DKFP games.

Kario Oquendo G/F (Georgia) Opp UF ($7.3K DK/7.8K FD)

Oquendo is turning into a star right before our eyes. He still has some growing to do, but has been a huge surprise for the Bulldogs with nine games of 20-plus points and is coming off a career-high 33-point game against Texas A&M. The more he plays, the better he gets and is carrying a 35.48% usage rate over the last five games with a 22.6 scoring average. He's in full gunner mode with a 38% shot rate over his last 3 games.

OTHER TOP GUARDS

Terquavion Smith G/F (NCST) $7.8K DK/8.2K FD  *50 DKFP last game against UNC

Bo Hodges G/F (BUTLE) $6.5K DK/5.6K FD

Kadary Richmond (SH) $6.2K DK/5.7K FD

Dereon Seabron (NCST) $8.5K DK/7.2K FD  *Much better FD price

TOP GUARD VALUES

Marcus Carr (Texas) Opp @WVU ($4.7K DK)

The #1 ranked transfer from Minnesota this past offseason, Carr has had plenty of bumps during the adjustment as a Longhorn, but still is one of the best point guards in the Big 12 and a $4.7K salary is criminal. He isn’t the slate breaker that we became accustomed to when he was a Gopher but still has a 22% usage, 21.8% shot, and 22.2 assist rate. Carr plays as many minutes as possible and with every game becoming more and more important in the Big 12, he should easily hit 4-5X value today.

Tyson Walker (Michigan State) Opp PUR ($4.1K DK/5.3K FD)

Walker lost his starting point guard job to AJ Hoggard four games ago, but it’s been a blessing in disguise. Over the last five games, Walker is averaging 14.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists to go along with a 24.12% usage rate and 25 DKFP. His 37.5% assist rate is ranked 15th in the entire nation and Purdue’s defense (100.6 adjusted efficiency) is just mediocre putting Walker as a top value in a tight game with the third-highest total of slate.

OTHER GUARD VALUES

Tyree Appleby (UF) $5.6K DK/6.2K FD  *30 DKFP average last 2; playing well

Hunter Cattoor (VT) $5.2K DK/4.8K FD

Courtney Ramey (UT) $3.9K DK  *over 30 mins last 2; 26 DKFP previous WV game

Tanner Groves (OU) $4.8K DK/$4.9K FD  *price has dropped $2.5K in a month; dirt cheap and great matchup

Umoja Gibson (OU) $4.2K DK/4.5K FD  *safe enough and mins for as main cash team

Malik Curry (WV) $3.3K DK  *33% usage when on the floor; coming off big game (29 DKFP); if Ked Johnson is out, he gets a bump up

Eric Hunter Jr (PUR) $3.9K DK/4.4K FD *won’t win you a GPP but a 4X floor

TOP FORWARDS

Colin Castleton (Florida) Opp @UGA ($9.2K DK/8.5K FD)

Castleton is in the ultimate smash spot today against a Georgia interior that is allowing a 56.2% 2-point field goal rate (353rd) and ranked in the mid-200s in both offensive and defensive rebounding. He carries the load as the focal point of this Gator half-court offense and is coming off a career-high 29 points as he dominated the post against Arkansas on Tuesday. Castleton has only been below 30 DKFP once since he returned from injury on February 5th and should easily keep that streak alive today.

Terquavion Smith G/F (North Carolina State) Opp UNC ($7.8K DK/8.2K FD)

The last time that these two teams met, Smith had the best game of his young collegiate career as he put up a DK fifty burger scoring 31 real points on 10-21 shooting with a couple of rebounds, assists, and four steals. He alone had almost half of NC State’s total points, and I don’t expect much defensive resistance from the Tar Heels again in today’s rematch. Besides scoring, Smith has been hitting the boards with seven or more rebounds in three straight games and is carrying a 30% usage over the last five. A near lock button spot here.

Bo Hodges G/F (Butler) Opp @MARQ ($6.5K DK/5.6K FD)

Hodges missed two games with a muscle strain and didn’t miss a beat upon his return lighting up both Providence and Seton Hall. On the road at Seton Hall, he put 14 points with seven rebounds, an assist, and two steals and now travels to Marquette where the pace should be pushed. He has 26+ DKFP in five straight games, plays as many minutes as possible, and already has a double-double against Marquette just two weeks ago.

OTHER TOP FORWARDS

Oscar Tshiebwe (UK) $10K DK/8.9K FD  *55.2% combined rebound rate

Jaylin Williams (ARK) $8.5K DK/8.4K FD *40DKFP over last five games

Keve Aluma (VT) $8K DK/7.5K FD  *Miami-FL interior is weak; 30 DKFP in 5 straight

David Collins G/F (CLEM) $6.9K DK  *upgrade if PJ Hall is out

Timmy Allen (UT) $6.4K DK

TOP FORWARD VALUES

Jacob Toppin (Kentucky) Opp @ARK ($5.5K DK/4.9K FD)

TyTy Washington and Sahvir Wheeler have been out the last two games and are doubtful today putting Toppin firmly in the 30-minute range again, He has been a solid 4X play the last two games with 26 and 20 DKFP and gets a pace up today at Bud Walton on the road. He’s not a player that will nuke the slate, but a solid enough floor for cash contests on both sites.

OTHER FORWARD VALUES

Ian Schieffelin (CLEM) $4.4K DK  *if PJ Hall is out gets bumped up to a top value

Julius Marble (MSU) $3.8K DK/5.8K FD

Tyrese Samuel (SH) $4.3K DK/4.8K FD  *24% usage when on floor
