Top Guards

Christian BraunKUOKST870031.19700029.15
Agbaji and Braun are both top guard options tonight, but the latter is actually the better floor DFS player at this point. Agbaji is a bit too reliant on pure points scored and lacks in some ancillary stats. Braun, though, fills up the stat sheet more consistently and is a safer cash play right now. He had 33 DK vs. OK St in the first matchup and is really affordable on FD.
Nijel PackKSUWVU800029.72840027.22
Kansas State has a trio of guards worth considering tonight, but Pack has the highest floor/ceiling combo among them. Pack is on fire lately with at least 18 points scored and 34 DK in five straight games while now averaging 19.8 PPG and 32.7 DK over the past ten. He had 20 points and 31 DK vs. West Virginia in the prior matchup and should have another good outing in a pace-boost against the Big 12’s worst defense.
Will RichardsonOREWSU760027.52800025.80
Though he’s facing the stout Washington St defense, Richardson usually does enough to be a solid cash stud in DFS. He’s averaging 17.9 PPG and 31 DK over the past ten games and always has the upside to go for 20 points and 40+ DK in any given game. The lower total and tough matchup may have people staying away in cash, but he’ll be a good contrarian GPP play.

Other Top Guards:

  • Ochai Agbaji -- Kansas ($8,900 DK / $7,200 FD)
  • Mark Smith -- Kansas State ($7,700 DK / $7,100 FD)
  • Brandon Mahan -- UCF ($7,500 DK Only)
  • Darius Perry -- UCF ($7,300 DK Only)
  • Taz Sherman -- West Virginia ($6,900 DK / $6,500 FD)

Value Guards

Darin Green Jr.UCFTLSA560022.22
Green is a fringe value play on the DK slate tonight because of his price, but there’s a ton of upside in this matchup. Tulsa has a terrible three-point defense and Green is UCF’s best and most active perimeter shooter. He’s making 37% of his three’s during conference play and has double-digit three-point attempts in four of the last six games. He could also score 20 points with 30+ DK in this matchup if he starts draining.
Trey AlexanderCREGU450013.3410012.19
Alexander moved into the starting lineup last game with Arthur Kaluma out. With the uptick in playing time, Alexander put up 16 DK over 37 minutes. With Kaluma expected to be out another game or two, we can count on Alexander continuing in this starting role and doing just enough to be a decent value - especially in a favorable, pace-boost matchup vs. Georgetown in the tight rotation of Creighton.
Mike McGuirlKSUWVU400015.6520014.31
McGuirl has been benefiting lately with Selton Miguel sidelined, putting up 21 DK or more in three of the last five games since moving into the starting lineup. Even with Miguel back last game, McGuirl still got the start and had 21 DK with balanced stat production. Both he and Miguel are solid values on this slate.
TJ BambaWSUORE390015.34460014.10
After starting a chunk of games earlier this season, Bamba moved back into the starting lineup the last two contests and he’s put decent numbers with the increase in playing time. The sophomore wing has 15 and 17 DK in these past two and could’ve put up more if his shots were falling (he shot 3-for-13 combined). The value is really nice for a guy who’s starting and can return 5x value or more.

Other Value Guards:

  • Sean McNeil -- West Virginia ($5,500 DK / $5,100 FD)
  • Dajuan Harris Jr. -- Kansas ($5,400 DK / $4,800 FD)
  • Nahiem Alleyne -- Virginia Tech ($4,900 DK / $4,400 FD)
  • Darius Johnson -- UCF ($4,000 DK Only)
  • Selton Miguel -- Kansas State ($3,400 DK / $4,600 FD)

Jeriah HorneTLSAUCF840031
People may overlook Horne on the DK slate because he’s priced higher than most other top-tier players in action. However, he can easily anchor your cash or GPP lineups with 35-40 DK like he’s done so many times this year as Tulsa’a go-to offensive option. The floor is usually pretty safe with his heavy shot volume and offensive usage rate.
Jalen WilsonKUOKST780024.29820022.67
Wilson has arguably been Kansas’ most valuable player in DFS and real life lately. He’s got 35+ DK in three straight and is averaging a healthy stat line of 14.4 PPG, 8.0 RPG and 31 DK over the past ten games. Even though he’s now priced up after this recent hot surge, Wilson is still a good cash play on this short slate.
Ryan HawkinsCREGU720027.79790025.11
It’s impossible to ignore what Hawkins just did against Georgetown on Saturday and not want to lock him into lineups tonight. He finished with a dominant stat line of 30 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and 61 DK while going 8-for-18 from three-point range. Though we can’t expect a duplicate perfomance tonight, we could realistically get 30 DFS points or so from him. That successful perimeter shooting is something we can hope happens again tonight as Georgetown is among the nation’s worst three-point defenses.

Other Top Forwards:

  • Keve Aluma -- Virginia Tech ($7,500 DK / $7,700 FD)
  • Jayden Gardner -- Virginia ($7,400 DK / $8,300 FD)
  • Mouhamed Gueye -- Washington State ($5,700 DK / $6,900 FD)

Quincy GuerrierOREWSU570018.73480017.57
Querrier is priced up a bit on DK, but he’s still a solid FD value at sub-5k. He’s been playing a much bigger role in Oregon’s frontcourt lately despite being inconsistent earlier this season. It’s made him a safer cash play with 20 DFS points a realistic expectation with his recent increase in usage and playing time.
Kaiden RiceGUCRE510019.67590017.21
If you’ve played DFS CBB this season, you’re surely familiar with the boom-or-bust potential for a guy like Rice. The Hokies’ senior shoots a high volume of three-pointers that he can get hot and smash value in any given night - or he can miss a ton and then hurt your lineup. He’s been shooting well lately, though, with 16, 24 and 20 points scored in three of the last four - and 23 DK or more in all those. He just had 23 DK on Saturday vs. Creighton and could replicate that tonight - or he’ll bust.
Ismael MassoudKSUWVU320012.29390011.25
Massoud has been a bit of a dart throw lately with boom-or-bust potential written all over. He just had 11 points scored and 18 DK on Saturday but was held under 10 DFS points in nine straight beforehand. However, he did have a good showing vs. West Virginia in the first meeting with 23 DK - something he could actually replicate in this pace-boost and favorable matchup.
