Top Guards

Terrell Brown Jr.UWASU930038.69
At more than 9k on the DK slate, Brown likely goes lower-rostered because of the deep list of stud guards and forwards in action. In GPPs, Washington’s alpha playmaker could definitely win it for you if he has one of those slate-breaking performances like we’ve seen plenty of times this season. It just happened on Sunday when he scored 30 points with 58 DK. In cash, though, there are some better ways to go.
Jaden IveyPURMICH820032.34860029.99
Ivey has been on another level since returning from a one-game absence due to a hip injury. He’s now scored 21+ points with 41 DK or more in three straight games coming into tonight. That includes a stat-stuffing, stud-like performance vs. Michigan this past Saturday. The recency bias of that game alone likely makes him popular in cash for this rematch.
Andrew NembhardGONZPAC760026.05
Even in a blowout win, Nembhard can still put up stud-level numbers among the top-tier guards to anchor your cash lineups tonight. He’s been awesome lately with 31+ DK in six of the past seven games while stuffing the stat sheet as Gonzaga scores 80-90 points nightly. The Zags have been playing their starters deep into the second half despite having massive leads - so hopefully that doesn’t change tonight.
Bennedict MathurinARIZWSU720030790027.56
Though Mathurin has been a bit up-and-down for DFS and real life production recently, his talent and playmaking ability alone keeps him firmly in play for tonight’s slate. It was a good sign on Monday when he went for 18 points and 30 DK on the road at Arizona St. In fact, Mathurin seems to have his best games on the road. He has 30, 37 and 30 DK in his last three road matchups and is averaging 21 PPG and 36 DK on the road this season. The depressed DK price tag is very affordable.

Other Top Guards:

  • Will Richardson -- Oregon ($7,400 DK / $8,200 FD)
  • David Collins -- Clemson ($6,600 DK / $6,600 FD)
  • Julian Strawther -- Gonzaga ($6,400 DK Only)

Chase HunterCLEMDUKE520011.25450010.47
The DFS ceiling for Hunter isn’t that high, but his cash floor is pretty safe for someone in the 5k price range. Despite scoring just nine combined points over the past two games, he’s still put up 18 and 15 DK points with solid ancillary stats. In a tight Clemson rotation, Hunter is logging 30-35 minutes and now gets a slight pace-boost vs. Duke. He had 28 DK in the first meeting vs. the Blue Devils.
Caleb HoustanMICHPUR510019.52450017.52
Though he’s coming off a subpar 12 DK effort last time out, we can bank on a better performance tonight in a pace-boost vs. Purdue’s struggling defense. Houstan had 19 DK in this matchup on Saturday and is averaging 19 DK over the past ten games. The freshman has emerged lately as one of Michigan’s more trustworthy sources of offense outside of Hunter Dickinson - and the Wolverines will need him to be that tonight with Dickinson dealing with Williams/Edey down low.
PJ FullerUWASU390014.52
On the DK slate, Fuller could be one of the better values if we get official word that Daejon Davis is out. He stepped into a bigger role last game with Davis departing early with a shoulder injury - putting up 26 DK over a season-high 32 minutes. With Davis doubtful tonight, per a report, expect Fuller to continue in this increased role with an uptick in playing time. The late tip makes it tough to just lock in Fuller, but maybe we get some news earlier.
Ahron UlisIOWAUMD350011.81470011.08
After seeing limited action and inconsistent playing time off the bench for much of this season, Ulis has actually been more involved lately. In the last two games, he’s put up 20 and 22 DK with a notable increase in minutes and offensive role. Meanwhile, Joe Toussaint reverted to the bench and logged only six minutes last game. Who knows if this continues for Ulis, but it’s worth a shot in GPPs for the possible 5x return.

Other Value Guards:

  • Eli Brooks -- Michigan ($5,400 DK / $5,700 FD)
  • Jeremy Roach -- Duke ($5,100 DK / $4,800 FD)
  • Eric Hunter Jr. -- Purdue ($4,600 DK / $4,900 FD)
  • Pelle Larsson -- Arizona ($4,600 DK / $5,600 FD)
  • Jordan Bohannon -- Iowa ($4,400 DK / $4,200 FD)
  • Nolan Hickman -- Gonzaga ($4,200 DK Only)
  • Cole Bajema -- Washington ($3,600 DK Only)

Chet HolmgrenGONZPAC980037.38
With Gonzaga being on the DK slate, we have a real decision of whether to play Chet Holmgren or not. You can also go Drew Timme for much cheaper, but Holmgren has been dominant lately and he’s a “fade at your own risk” player right now. He smashed BYU for 63 DK on Saturday, had 50 DK in the game prior, and now hasn’t put up less than 33 DK in eight straight. Pacific’s small lineup won’t be able to slow him down much - even in a blowout.
Keegan MurrayIOWAUMD960042.46840040.22
Like Holmgren, Murray is a “fade at your own risk” DFS player at this point. He’s coming off a monster 55 DK performance on Sunday when he put up 24 points and 15 rebounds. Murray is now averaging 21.5 PPG and 42 DK over the past ten games and now gets a favorable matchup against Maryland’s subpar frontcourt. He dropped 35 points and 56 DK in the first meeting vs. UMD and could very well do that again.
Paolo BancheroDUKECLEM870035.34800032.77
Considering the semi-affordable price tags compared to other top forwards on the slate, Banchero should be popular in cash. Look for Duke’s stud freshman to bounce back from scoring only nine points with a less-than-ideal 29 DK in Monday’s upset loss to Virginia. He had 19 points and 34 DK vs. Clemson in the first meeting and should get back to his 35 DFS point production as a floor.
Trevion WilliamsPURMICH710029.88740028.22
Purdue’s center tandem of Williams and Edey continues to be a guessing game when it comes to prioritize one for DFS lineups. It’s admittedly tough to lock in either one for cash, but both have the high-upside GPP ceiling to smash their respective price tags. At least Williams has recent proven success in tonight’s matchup as he just went for 19 points and 42 DK vs. Michigan on Saturday. He also went for 14 points and 11 boards against Hunter Dickinson and the Wolverines last season.

Other Top Forwards:

  • Hunter Dickinson -- Michigan ($8,600 DK / $8,500 FD)
  • PJ Hall -- Clemson ($7,500 DK / $8,100 FD)
  • Azuolas Tubelis -- Arizona ($7,000 DK / $7,200 FD)
  • Zach Edey -- Purdue ($6,700 DK / $7,200 FD)
  • Harrison Ingram -- Stanford ($6,600 DK / $7,100 FD)

Filip RebracaIOWAUMD500016.11460015.35
Rebraca is one of a few Iowa players who’s tough to trust in cash but has GPP upside in any given game. It seems like these guys trade off good DFS performances all year and it makes it tough to trust in cash. Rebraca has shown 4x and 5x upside at times this season and one of those better performances came against Maryland about a month ago when he put up 24 DK with 13 points and eight rebounds. The high-total environment pushes him above others in this price range.
Quincy GuerrierORESTAN490018.61500017.48
When Oregon faced Stanford earlier this season, Guerrier had a massive effort with 18 points, nine rebounds and 35 DK. Although that performance was a bit of an outlier for him this season, Guerrier has been playing better lately. He’s put up 20, 23 and 31 DK in three of the last four games and is taking minutes away from N’Faly Dante in the frontcourt. This isn’t a bad value for 5k or so on both sites.
Naz BohannonCLEMDUKE470013.4430012.50
Bohannon was a value play for us last time Clemson played, but unfortunately he didn’t come through with only 11 DK. Still, we’re going right back there because the playing time is basically locked in with Hunter Tyson’s recent injury. Bohannon had 23 and 21 DK in the two games prior and could easily get back to that DFS production tonight.
Qudus WahabUMDIOWA430018.53500017.51
Wahab has been a roller coaster DFS option for most of this season, but he’s actually an interesting value as long he’s priced at 5k or below. If he stays out of foul trouble and asserts himself in the paint on both ends, then 20 DK is not out of the question. In fact, Wahab had 22 DK vs. Iowa in the first meeting and is even averaging 18.7 DK over the past five games. He’s worth a shot in a pace-boost matchup.
