10-Team League

Mike Minor –  Minor may have taken the loss in his last start but he held his own against a tough Astros lineup to largely limit the damage to just three runs over five innings. In his previous two starts Minor held the Blue Jays and Mariners to just one run on 10 hits while striking out 22 over 15 innings.  His start this upcoming week will be against the Royals in Kansas City. The Royals this season rank 27th in average and 23rd in wOBA against left-handed pitching while striking out 23.7-percent of the time.

Luke Weaver – We are getting to see why Weaver a centerpiece to the trade that sent Paul Goldschmidt to the Cardinals this offseason as the young righthander is 3-1 with a 2.98 ERA while striking out 50 over 45.1 innings. These numbers are no fluke either as he owns a 2.90 FIP, 3.51 xFIP and a 3.46 SIERA with a 9.93 K/9 and an impressive 1.99 BB/9. Weaver will make a home start against the Pirates on Tuesday of this week. The Pirates rank 20th in wOBA against RHP this season with a .297 mark.

12-Team League

Jake Odorizzi – Odorizzi is rolling right now, having allowed ZERO earned runs over his last 20 innings while striking out 20 and limiting opponents to just seven hits. His next start is going to come this week at home against the Angels. This will be a tough test for Odorizzi as the Angels have some decent numbers against RHP this season but it is hard to ignore the run he is on right now.

Mike Soroka – Quite the impressive start we have from Soroka to 2019 as he is 3-1 with a 1.21 ERA over five starts. Soroka has 31 strikeouts over 29.2 innings this season. His start this week will be at home against a Cardinals team that has some impressive name value in their lineup but has largely struggled of late, especially over the last week as they have a .234 team average with a .674 OPS.

Chris Bassitt – Teams may finally be starting to put some runs on the board against Bassitt but his performances have still been solid over his last two outings as he has 15 strikeouts over 12.2 innings while allowing six earned runs. If we are to be worried about anything it is the home run ball that has started to plague him a bit but overall I am not too worried. His start this upcoming week will come against the Tigers who rank 28th in wOBA against RHP this season with a 26-percent strikeout rate.

15-Team League

Danny Duffy – Duffy has been solid in his three games since returning to the Royals rotation, allowing six runs over 17.2 innings while striking out 12. His next start will come at home against a Rangers team that ranks 28th in average and 19th in wOBA while striking out at a 28.2-percent clip, good for fourth most in most baseball.

Wade Miley – Miley continues to be a solid member of the Astros rotation. Over his last three starts he has allowed just five runs over 16.2 innings while striking out 12. He will face a Tigers team on Tuesday that have a 27.6-percent strikeout rate against left-handed pitching this season.
