Friday’s match will conclude what will be seen by OMG fans as a very disappointing week of play. Oh My God entered this week of play down one game for a playoff spot and three games yet to play. They had a head-to-head match with the 10th place team (FunPlus Phoenix) and lost in a disappointing fashion. Thursday brought Oh My God another heartbreaking loss, this time at the hands of LNG. This 1-2 series loss officially locks in our top 10 teams, but some final shifting can still take place. If OMG can beat Royal Never Give Up, RNG could find themselves at least down into the third playoff spot but possibly tumbling down to 5th place and out of the automatic bid into the double knockout round. With a match that appears at best a formality, there is plenty on the line for the current second seed in the LPL.

Cann’s Pick: Royal Never Give Up (2-0)
Captain: (RNG)
Favorite: Xiaohu (RNG: $15,600) The bias towards ADCs is so clear for this slate. GALA is listed as the highest valued player ($15,900) but the highest kill producer for RNG (144 kills) and has the best KDA at 5.9. The team operates through their mechanically skilled mid laner and he is the lynchpin to their mid-game objective-based fights. His 70% team kill participation rate and 30% team kill share percentage are both highest on RNG, which should make him an ideal candidate for your captain spot.
Value Pick: Bin (RNG: $12,600)
Captain (OMG)
Favorite: Able (OMG: $15,300) This is a pretty hard pick here because I feel like all of the OMG players are at similar FPPG values and peak in certain games but not in others. I decided to go with Able in the captain spot for a similar theory that lead DraftKings to set GALA above Xiaohu, this is an ADC’s world and we are all just living in it. There are more champions, items, and playstyles in the game now that cater to these bottom lane carries doing the actual heavy lifting for a team. Able is a fair ADC and the gap between him and GALA isn’t drastic. Able has 132 kills (GALA has 136) and a 65% team kill participation rate (GALA is at 66%).
Value Pick: AKi (OMG: $13,200)
Flex: (RNG)
Favorite: Gala (RNG: $10,600) I am not in love with picking GALA and in my lineups, I will probably avoid him. I think the safety in picking GALA has to come from the power of ADCs. GALA’s personal strength comes from his situational positioning. It is going to be extremely difficult for Aki and COLD to get into the backline of RNG. GALA’s safety (less than 2 deaths per game average) will make this pick a low-risk one, and help ensure that you won’t lose points for stupid deaths. GALA will be participatory, and look for him to pick up plenty of assists in their huge 5 versus 5 team fights in the late game.
Value Pick: Wei (RNG: $9,400)
Flex: OMG)
Favorite: Creme (OMG: $9.800) Creme is one of the players I think would flourish if you took him off of OMG. Creme has played the full gambit of champions including the strongest picks like Corki and Viktor but also the flashier/skill-based champions like Akali. His 3.5 KDA is the best on OMG, and he has the second most kills with 115. If I was game planning for OMG on Friday, I would look to put Creme on a mage mid laner to control the waves and not die to Xiaohu in the laning phase. He needs to find ways to rotate out of the lane and influence shanji or Able’s lane and win in the late game.
