AJ Dillon (quad) was limited during Thursday's practice.

That makes two straight limited sessions for Dillon after he was forced from the Packers' Divisional Round victory over the Rams with the quad injury. He rushed six times for 27 yards before suffering the quad issue last week. Barring a Friday setback, the rookie should be in line to play this week against Tampa's league-best rush defense.

Jamaal Williams (ankle) was limited at Thursday's practice.

AJ Dillon was also limited for a second straight day in Green Bay's lead up to Sunday's NFC title game against Tampa. Either Williams or Dillon could become sneaky, low-cost DFS options if the other back is sidelined Sunday. For now, it appears both are on track to suit up. Williams saw a dozen carries last week against the Rams and has split high-value touches with Aaron Jones when healthy this season.

49ers re-signed CB Ken Webster to a one-year, $765,000 contract.

Webster, a two-year veteran, was an exclusive rights free agent, so his only options were to sign with the Niners or retire. The 252nd pick of the Patriots in 2019, Webster, 24, played in nine games during the 2020 season, returning a punt and recording two tackles in Week 10 against the Saints.

Packers signed CB Tramon Williams to the practice squad.

Williams, 37, who played six games with Baltimore this season, returns for his third go-round in Green Bay. He'll be little more than a depth option in the excellent Packers secondary as the team chases a Super Bowl.

Gabriel Davis (ankle) did not practice Thursday.

Davis was seen hobbling during last week's game against the Ravens after suffering an ankle injury in the first quarter. A missed Thursday practice is hardly a good sign that Davis will be available for the AFC title game against the Chiefs this Sunday. Buffalo would likely use fewer four-receiver sets and Dawson Knox could see more run against KC if Davis is inactive.

Cole Beasley was added to the Bills' injury report on Thursday, getting in a "limited" session with a knee issue.

We would guess this is just maintenance after Beasley was absent from Wednesday's report, though it will be worth monitoring on Friday. Beasley has nowhere to go but up for Sunday's title tilt after being held to 0/0/0 in the Divisional Round. With Gabriel Davis (ankle) not practicing, Beasley's floor inches up a tad.

Steelers signed QB Dwayne Haskins, DB Stephen Denmark, TE Charles Jones, and TE Dax Raymond to reserve/future contracts.

Haskins joins the Steelers after his two-year run in Washington ended with the team releasing him following a blatant violation of COVID-19 protocols. Pittsburgh also adds Jones and Raymond to a relatively shallow tight end depth chart. Raymond -- who had a 73rd percentile speed score at the 2019 NFL combine -- was one of Jordan Love's primary targets at Utah State. He was signed by Chicago as an undrafted free agent in 2019 before being released by the Bears after the 2019 season.

Jets hired Miles Austin as WRs coach.

An offensive quality control coach, Austin worked alongside Robert Saleh with the 49ers in 2019 before spending 2020 out of the league. Still only 36 years old, Austin will provide a recent perspective to a promising but unproven Jets receiver corps, one highlighted by second-year pro Denzel Mims. Ausin experienced some high highs and low lows during his 10-year career, seeing it all as a Pro Bowler and chronic injury sufferer.
