Troy Brown Jr. tallied 17 points (5-of-16 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, one blocked shot and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes Thursday vs. Boston.
Brown made his second straight start at the point guard position Thursday, and this experience went a little better than the first. In Tuesday’s loss to Milwaukee he accounted for nine points, six rebounds and three assists, and he was a bit more assertive on Thursday. The experience should help Brown as he continues to develop, but he’ll be back to getting the majority of his minutes off the ball when John Wall and Bradley Beal make their returns next season.
